Wow! This is a great place. It is very inviting and just a relaxed location. When I walked in I did not realize so many customers are just here having coffee and talking with friends. Such a different feeling, I'm a hiker and just feel like I could say, "hey let's go for a hike" and someone would say let's go! I think the guy made my drink quickly and it is good. Never knew this place was here and come to this location often. I must say it is just enjoyable here. You have to visit to appreciate the atmosphere here. My absolute fave coffee in ABQ and I've explored shops all over the city! The beauty is in the details of that first sip and you can just tell Michael invests in quality product and equipment. The art is always amazing, and I've always loved the inclusive atmosphere to disappear into with my son or to work. I feel seen but unseen if ya know what I mean. read more

The service was friendly and the drinks were pretty good! The ambiance had a neat industrial vibe going for it too. If you're looking for a pretty no frills coffee spot for serious coffee drinkers this is your place. There isn't the extra bells and whistles you probably got used to at Starbucks, but certain things are done better. The one thing I didn't like was that the iced drinks only came in a small cup. What I really did like was the freshness and care that they took in preparation. For example, at Starbucks they put the matcha powder and give it a shake. This often causes clumps of matcha to not fully blend in. But here they do it the right way by using the wood whisking tool (not sure what it's called) and it ends up 100% smooth with no clumps. read more

Wonderful lattes with fun flavors! I have a pistachio cardamon latte today. And, their pastries are too good. Today, I had a warm cherry one. It was pretty busy, with lots of people chatting or working on their computers, but the sound wasn't overwhelming and service was still super fast. read more

This place is definitely hopping on a weekend morning! I stopped by a bit after 9am because I had an appointment around the area. There were people sitting already...and maybe just 1/4 of seatings available at that point But by 10:15am...it was so crowded everyone and their mothers were there! You wouldn't be able to get a seat there anymore! It's clear everyone loved Catalyst Coffee! I got a pistachio Rose iced later ($7) and thought it was good. Granted, I didn't realize an order of latter costs as much as $7 without tips yet these days!! The coffee was good and not overly sweet, which I liked. Maybe I will try their other coffee again if I'm in the area. Overall, great coffee, clean cafe..and clearly a popular one! Not sure if you'd be able to grab a seat late mornings onwards though! read more

Stopped in on a whim on an early Friday afternoon and SO glad I did. I tried the seasonal coconut almond mocha and it was DE-LI-CIOUS!. So much so, I didn't get a photo of it before it was gone. Love the vibe and the location is easy to get in/out of, if you're on the Westside. The guy behind the bar was really nice - would highly recommend checking it out. It's so nice to have a locally owned coffee place close-ish to my house! I visited Catalyst Coffee today after an appointment and I am very happy with this place. I chose an iced Americano and was given the choice of medium or dark roast, which doesn't happen most places. It was delicious and just right on a warm day. They have a good selection of drinks, Rude Boy cookies, conchas, and scones if you're in the mood for a little something something with your coffee or tea. The service is outstanding as well. I'll definitely return! read more

I really wanted to love it here and support local. I understand the rising costs but I ordered a sf hazelnut latte and it was $7.01. I have the gentleman $8.00 and received no change just a punch card and he went back to talking to the person sitting at the counter :( I took a sip it was horrible couldn't get his attention so just left. read more

Oh what the hell. Five stars, just because you're in my backyard! Annnnd you opened on Valentine's Day. Swooning, here. I want to note that this fabulous new cafe is sandwiched between a Domino's and a dispensary. That's America for ya. But I couldn't have been more excited, nor exhausted, for opening day. To say I'd been waiting for this to happen for way, way too long is a major understatement, it took forever. But now that this silky smooth, maple infused cold brew is crossing my lips, oh man, I'm glad it's here. Very friendly service, a super clean, easy vibe, just tables and some bar seating, I now have my office away from the home office. (That's such a post Pandemic statement.) Coffee was delicious -- our iced latte and iced cortado were both strong yet smooth. We also had a yeasted donut that was airy and flavorful, so recommend those. The inside of the shop is spacious and bright, and has lots of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have some merch and stickers, which is always a plus for me. Came in to do some "work from home" things and it was the perfect environment to do so! The staff is friendly, the place is super clean and beautiful, and the music was perfect. I loved my latte, they brought it to my table and took my empty glass when I was done. Honestly, I had never had this company before but I'm sure happy that have a shop now! They have great hours and are busy on weekends, but weekdays aren't too bad from what I've observed. Can't wait to try it again. read more

New place, who dis? Super cute new coffee shop on the Westside (go support local!). I was only in here for two seconds to grab a coffee and get home before my movers came so this may be a shorter review than some of my others, but I promise to add to it when I return (and I will return!). The short of it is this is a new place that is just getting their feet underneath them, so my lack of five stars is for a little more decoration to make this more of a homey coffee place vs the industrial look it currently has. It's aesthetic, I know, but they have some plants scattered about and I crave more plants! Why do coffee and plants go together? I don't know either, but they just do. The service was fast and friendly, but there was no line so theres that. The coffe was cery good and hit the spot. I got a latte and next time I think Ill go for a cappuccino to really get a taste of their roast. I will be back and will write more later! Enjoy the added pics! read more

Sooooo..... Pardon me if I sound too excited or use too many exclamation points because I am high on caffeine! The Catalyst Coffee truck just came out to my work thanks to my administrator for a wonderful holiday present to staff. I am super impressed with what he has to offer from his truck. He even offers a keto coffee with grass made butter! I opted to try the Gingerbread Latte and people, it is out of this world delicious! This is a fabulous idea for a staff present or office party. Perfect coffee spot. I am from out of town and stop here anytime i am in town. Cheaper than SB DD or DB and much better quality of coffee. A lot of room to sit and they support local businesses. I need to try a turnover and or pop tart cookie. You get your coffee super fast and its hot. Their espresso machine is top of line and their beans are fresh. Must try read more

You wanna know what's the coolest thing in town? A food truck, but instead of serving food.. they serve coffee! I guess you could say, a coffee truck! Whatever you wanna call it, this concept is pretty frickin' amazinggg! First off, I love this coffee spot because their main color is grey (& if you know me, you know my favorite color is grey)! Second, he serves delicious coffee out of this coffee truck, so what more can you ask for?! I've only discovered this recently, but I'm also working my way around on this drink menu as well! So far, I've had the iced vanilla latte, iced lavender matcha, nitro maple cold brew float, & maple nitro cold brew! Safe to say, everything is super delicious & you won't go wrong w/ anything! Also, if you're looking for a new addiction.. the good kind.. I highly recommend the maple nitro cold brew! I tried it for the first time yesterday & it was like heaven on the tastebuds. If you're looking for a delicious & refreshing caffeine pick-me-up, this is the stop you need to make! 11/10 would definitely recommend! There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... Drink-wise, the lavender latte arrived with a little bit of an attitude. It wasn't one of those timid lattes that politely whispers "coffee" from across the room. This one showed up, introduced itself firmly, and then followed through with a surprisingly smooth lavender finish. Strong? Absolutely. Tasty? Also absolutely. The Starry Island Italian soda was the perfect counterbalance. One sip and suddenly my brain was nowhere near New Mexico. It was somewhere with palm trees, warm ocean breezes, and a beach chair that costs more than it should. Fruity, tropical, and incredibly refreshing, it tasted like the beverage equivalent of a mini vacation. If the lavender latte was the serious adult in the room, the Starry Island was already barefoot in the sand, ordering another round of sunshine. And because life is unpredictable, I also left with a 5-pound bag of ice. Not every coffee shop can satisfy your caffeine needs and prepare you for a backyard barbecue in the same transaction. Cup of Cozy delivered exactly what its name promises: good drinks, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. In a world full of coffee shops trying to become destinations, this one succeeds by simply being comfortable, welcoming, and authentic. Admittedly, I didn't love my Americano but that had more to do with the type of bean (think a brighter flavor, while I prefer a dark roasted nutty flavor). This wouldn't at all stop me from returning and trying something else, like one of their cute specialty lattes if I'm feeling something on the sweeter side. Their prices are extremely reasonable, too.

On weekends there are a bunch of awnings with locals peddling their wares. Sometimes a band under the trees but we find that they always plat too loud to have conversation is you sit nearby. Be prepared to stand in line for 30 minutes to order and another 20-30 minutes to get your order. Fun spot to checkout, especially if you ride your bike. There is parking and access for cars, but that's no fun!

We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. To clarify, there was nothing wrong with it, but I've had a lot of schnitzel, and it just failed to stand out. I kept to the classics with a filet mignon. To my surprise, it left the same impression.
