Wow! This is a great place. It is very inviting and just a relaxed location. When I walked in I did not realize so many customers are just here having coffee and talking with friends. Such a different feeling, I'm a hiker and just feel like I could say, "hey let's go for a hike" and someone would say let's go! I think the guy made my drink quickly and it is good. Never knew this place was here and come to this location often. I must say it is just enjoyable here. You have to visit to appreciate the atmosphere here. My absolute fave coffee in ABQ and I've explored shops all over the city! The beauty is in the details of that first sip and you can just tell Michael invests in quality product and equipment. The art is always amazing, and I've always loved the inclusive atmosphere to disappear into with my son or to work. I feel seen but unseen if ya know what I mean. read more

The service was friendly and the drinks were pretty good! The ambiance had a neat industrial vibe going for it too. If you're looking for a pretty no frills coffee spot for serious coffee drinkers this is your place. There isn't the extra bells and whistles you probably got used to at Starbucks, but certain things are done better. The one thing I didn't like was that the iced drinks only came in a small cup. What I really did like was the freshness and care that they took in preparation. For example, at Starbucks they put the matcha powder and give it a shake. This often causes clumps of matcha to not fully blend in. But here they do it the right way by using the wood whisking tool (not sure what it's called) and it ends up 100% smooth with no clumps. read more

Wonderful lattes with fun flavors! I have a pistachio cardamon latte today. And, their pastries are too good. Today, I had a warm cherry one. It was pretty busy, with lots of people chatting or working on their computers, but the sound wasn't overwhelming and service was still super fast. read more

Stopped in on a whim on an early Friday afternoon and SO glad I did. I tried the seasonal coconut almond mocha and it was DE-LI-CIOUS!. So much so, I didn't get a photo of it before it was gone. Love the vibe and the location is easy to get in/out of, if you're on the Westside. The guy behind the bar was really nice - would highly recommend checking it out. This place is definitely hopping on a weekend morning! I stopped by a bit after 9am because I had an appointment around the area. There were people sitting already...and maybe just 1/4 of seatings available at that point But by 10:15am...it was so crowded everyone and their mothers were there! You wouldn't be able to get a seat there anymore! It's clear everyone loved Catalyst Coffee! I got a pistachio Rose iced later ($7) and thought it was good. Granted, I didn't realize an order of latter costs as much as $7 without tips yet these days!! The coffee was good and not overly sweet, which I liked. Maybe I will try their other coffee again if I'm in the area. Overall, great coffee, clean cafe..and clearly a popular one! It's so nice to have a locally owned coffee place close-ish to my house! I visited Catalyst Coffee today after an appointment and I am very happy with this place. I chose an iced Americano and was given the choice of medium or dark roast, which doesn't happen most places. It was delicious and just right on a warm day. They have a good selection of drinks, Rude Boy cookies, conchas, and scones if you're in the mood for a little something something with your coffee or tea. The service is outstanding as well. I want to note that this fabulous new cafe is sandwiched between a Domino's and a dispensary. That's America for ya. But I couldn't have been more excited, nor exhausted, for opening day. To say I'd been waiting for this to happen for way, way too long is a major understatement, it took forever. But now that this silky smooth, maple infused cold brew is crossing my lips, oh man, I'm glad it's here. The inside of the shop is spacious and bright, and has lots of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have some merch and stickers, which is always a plus for me. Came in to do some "work from home" things and it was the perfect environment to do so! The staff is friendly, the place is super clean and beautiful, and the music was perfect. New place, who dis? Super cute new coffee shop on the Westside (go support local!). I was only in here for two seconds to grab a coffee and get home before my movers came so this may be a shorter review than some of my others, but I promise to add to it when I return (and I will return!). The short of it is this is a new place that is just getting their feet underneath them, so my lack of five stars is for a little more decoration to make this more of a homey coffee place vs the industrial look it currently has. It's aesthetic, I know, but they have some plants scattered about and I crave more plants! Why do coffee and plants go together? I don't know either, but they just do. The service was fast and friendly, but there was no line so theres that. The coffe was cery good and hit the spot. I got a latte and next time I think Ill go for a cappuccino to really get a taste of their roast. I will be back and will write more later! Enjoy the added pics! read more

The Catalyst Coffee truck just came out to my work thanks to my administrator for a wonderful holiday present to staff. I am super impressed with what he has to offer from his truck. He even offers a keto coffee with grass made butter! I opted to try the Gingerbread Latte and people, it is out of this world delicious! This is a fabulous idea for a staff present or office party. You wanna know what's the coolest thing in town? A food truck, but instead of serving food.. they serve coffee! I guess you could say, a coffee truck! Whatever you wanna call it, this concept is pretty frickin' amazinggg! First off, I love this coffee spot because their main color is grey (& if you know me, you know my favorite color is grey)! Second, he serves delicious coffee out of this coffee truck, so what more can you ask for?! I've only discovered this recently, but I'm also working my way around on this drink menu as well!
