Was trying out Doordash today for the first time to make some extra money for my partner, my dog and I, as we are struggling although we both work full time. I was picking up a drink for someone at this Starbucks and the screen said it was "Finished" but I didn't see it at the counter. So I carefully turned around a cup that looked like the same drink to view the name. The barista nearest to me, who already seemed to be in a bad mood (aggressively making drinks, annoyed and quietly saying names instead of calling out) looked at me and said under their breath "Yeah, There's no reason for you to be touching those". I sound like a baby but this did make me cry in the store lol. I was just confused and needed help finding my order. I ended up waiting a while longer in tears until I had to courage to go up to a woman working there (dark hair) and ask what to do. She helped me and was very kind. I just don't know if I can go back to this Starbucks after being embarrassed and belittled. Wondering if this employee would have been as nasty if I were a man lol. read more

I was in the area and was in the need for a Starbucks fix immediately. There where many customers sitting down as there i plenty of seating. There was not much of a line and order went very quickly. I had a venti latte with an extra shot. The barista was very nice and friendly and order went thru very fast. The drink was made perfectly and i got my caffeine fix. This store is amazing. Staff is very friendly. Store is always clean. Masks are required by staff and customers at all times. They get very busy on weekends but everything is orderly and no chaos. This location is always clean inside and out. One employee cleans windows weekly he said. No drive thru at this location. No seating, due to restrictions, at this time. We were having difficulty connecting to the internet at my grandmas (long story) so we got here literally an hour before it closed so Ben could download his phone files onto his laptop and as soon as we walked in we felt so welcome!! The person taking our order was super friendly, upbeat, eager to help and very attentive to our needs. He also got our order to us as promptly as possible so we could continue what we were trying to do without skipping a beat. I also happened to noticed how this particular location has so many different types of packaged lunches which is great if you are stopping by and didn't have time to make your lunch at home. The smooth matcha green tea and flaky almond croissant with a creamy amaretto flavored filling were both heavenly without being too sweet. The almond pastries here are very similar to the ones at Panera but with less powdered sugar on top and softer. Also, the internet was quick and reliable and there was no distracting noise in the background. We were the only people there at that particular time too which was nice. Loved the clean modern feel to the interior and the bathrooms were super clean. Starbucks is really the best place to use the internet at and they are good at making you feel important. read more

Horrible customer service. Didn't even get a hi from the cashier or even a smile. Then found out nobody there was in a good mood. Seemed overwhelmed even though they don't have a drive thru to worry about. Completely forgot my coffee as part of a two coffee and food order. Then when it came for me having to ask for my coffee again, with cream included there was still more than enough room for more cream. Why pay 3.50 for a coffee and not even be able to fill it up all the way?? Get home, and realize the bagel was barely even toasted. I would NEVER come here again. Compared to every other Starbucks across the country I've been to this is noticeably the worst customer service. Not one person there is representing Starbucks well at all. Starbucks is always great to me. No matter where I am, there's the little green mermaid, beckoning to me to come and drink from her amazing selection of burnt coffee. Banksville Starbucks has it all, coffee, wifi, and free parking to boot. The team there seems to all have been with the company for a while, not like the rotating door you see at most Starbucks. The guy with the awesome mustache has made my Frap or Latte the last few times, and they've always been perfect. Check them out! They're definitely worth the trip through the tunnels. Slow does not begin to describe the speed at which This location prepares your order, whether done in person or online. You are not likely to get a greeting from anyone behind the counter, but it wouldn't wouldn't matter if you did because the music plays so loud it's nearly impossible to hear your name called at the mobile order counter. The result is long queues of customers waiting and even longer times for those who order in store. read more

There's nothing I don't like about Starbucks but this one is extra special because it's not even 5 minutes away from my house and the baristas are so nice & friendly! I personally dislike this plaza in general; it is so inconvenient but this is the closest Starbucks for me so I'm getting used to it. Ah, Starbucks. This one in particular sees me a couple times a month when I stop in for my usual breakfast on my way to work or to yet another day of volunteering. Even on days I don't want tea - as I don't drink coffee - I can just pick up a bottle of juice and a slice of coffee cake. The drinks are always made the way I like them if I don't order the juice bottle, and the coffee cake is always fresh and has a ton of berries - yum! Unfortunately that's where the good stuff about this place ends. While the drinks and snacks are all at the usual Starbucks standard - so yes, if you're not a Starbucks person to begin with this one won't convert you - the service usually is not. It's not uncommon for the staff to stop and talk for a minute or two when there's a long line. Not talk about the orders that need to be made, just gossip about their lives. It's really annoying, to say the least. And while this is not entirely their fault, the parking lot, as someone else mentioned, is a major pain. If you get in unscathed, good luck getting out either through the light or down the one-way aisle that every shopper ever uses as their personal crossing. Head on out towards the pool if you can. Seriously. In fact the parking lot is why I'm not giving this location a bonus star for its outdoor seating. Sitting outside during rush hour or peak shopping times? Not very fun or relaxing at all. The indoor seating is pretty reasonable, although I wish there were more comfy chairs compared to hard and/or high top chairs. In short, decent drinks/food by Starbucks standards, not so great staff, awful location. Get in, get your drink/food, and get out. Good luck! read more

September 22, 2022 , About 10:40 am. I walk in and there was this strong stink. It smelled like vomit. I wasn't sure. But something was wrong. I immediately thought of leaving and just going to another Starbucks. But, I figured I am already here. I can take the smell for a few minutes just to save myself some time. About 4 minutes pass as I'm waiting for my iced coffee. I was ready to leave because I was not physically nauseous. Someone must have either thrown up in the store earlier or released a stink bomb. OMG. Ok I'm leaving . As I get ready to leave. My order is ready. I leave the store trying to recover. I drive away. I take a sip of my coffee and the coffee has the same smell. I almost threw up after just one drink. Was the manager there that day? Where was the shift supervisor? How can they not close down till that smell is gone. I wanted so bad to go get a refund and complain to the supervisor. But, I was so nauseous. It's an hour latter and I am still sick at my stomach. I was fine before I went inside. To go back into that store even for $100 would not be worth it. It was that bad. Starbucks usually has a great smell and smells like coffee bean. But, this store not this time. Nice and large! So of course I get my usual earl grey tea and take a seat in one of the comfy chairs. I spend about an hour here just reading the New York Times and looking at the myriad of people that walk in and out. For as much space as they have here, it has not been filled with "stuff." I just want to start off by saying this is by far the best Starbucks location around! The customer service is so amazing and what I love most is the consistency of the drinks. I could go other places but I truly love the way my drinks are made every single time! Here! Also Tommy, is amazing and so bright and filled with holiday cheer! There was two occasions I went in and felt very under the weather and his warm glow of radiance just captured me and turned my morning around! I was sincerely impressed by this Starbuck's and the whole staff! We were visiting family in Pittsburgh, and made this SB's our temporary home shop during our stay. On our second visit, the barista (wish I could recall her name), knew both mine and my wife's drinks. Both of which were made to perfection! The storefront has a large seating area, which in any other setting would have been really nice. Unfortunately, this SB's is seated right in the center of a rather busy strip mall. The cross traffic is busy with pedestrians, and you are seated within a few feet of cars/trucks pulling into diagonal parking spaces. The exterior noise and odors (exhaust) makes enjoying a drink or bite to eat in the outside seating area, very undesirable! Fortunately, this is a rather spacious Starbuck's, with plenty of seating inside. More than anything else, the staff made this Starbuck's a pleasant experience. Next time in Pittsburgh, I'm definitely going back! read more

This is not one of my favorite Starbucks, two reasons for that. First and foremost, the parking lot is a death trap. Seriously, you need to see how looney people drive in this lot, they just pull out of their spots without looking, if a spot opens up it's like the Indy 500 to the parking space. The banksville plaza seriously needs to make changes to the traffic patterns of this horrible parking lot. Now, the Starbucks is one of the largest I've ever seen, actually it's almost too big. They wasted a lot of space making the barista area so large. They could have put more comfy chairs and sofas in this store but opted for table and chair seating. Not the most friendly baristas at this store. They all seem to be more interested in idle gossip from fellow workers rather than customers. I wish I remembered the girl's name, but she made my night! I asked for the Pink Drink and she surprised me when she knew how to make it without me pulling up the recipe! I was randomly telling her about my experience at another location where they were out of strawberries for the Strawberry Acai Refresher on three different days. And how the third attempt, the lady was a bit rude in answering my questions about when they would have the strawberries back in stock. The barista handed me my drink and surprised me when she told me the drink was on them. Definitely had me feeling confused why my drink was free (not that it's bad) when she told me the drink was suppose to make it up for my experience at the other location. Not a very good location, but could be. Only gets an extra star because they apparently get the (first) pour-over right (I think the second one will be okay too), and because they don't have a drive-through to distract people from the lobby. They lose at least one star for moving to close earlier soon after already having early-closing hours (was 10pm, which will smash late night demand for not being late enough). They lose at least another for allowing brutal hip-hop-ish music to punish patrons who would otherwise like to get some work done, have a good conversation, or have an environment for doing business with a vendor, customer, or partner. At least another star drops due to the problematic WiFi that has plagued most Starbucks locations since April (Roz Brewer's risky move to collect emails in exchange for WiFi access: puts a chill on folks valuing connection privacy, particularly financial, regardless of assurances to the contrary): a relatively recent, updated Mac platform may mean you have to restart your machine every time just to get on, regardless of what you do in network settings (ridiculous, Google reports that this is 100 percent Starbucks' screw-up which Starbucks/Brewer seems obtusely unwilling to fix). read more

This is my usual Starbucks on the weekend. It is within walking distance from my house. They are usually efficient and pleasant. However, I stopped by today and had a not so great time. The tragically hip barista with the handlebar moustache was too interested in what his fellow employees were doing to actually pay attention to the customers. He complained that he wanted to go home, made a whole bunch of snarky comments, and then complained that everyone else was doing other tasks (like changing signs and refilling supplies). Which, this left him to take my sandwhich out of the oven. He let it beep several times before he sighed, rolled his eyes and yelled "I guess I'll take care of that!" He then wrapped it and threw it at me. I thanked him and he just gave me a "hm" and a sarcastic smile. Good job. read more
