I love this Starbucks on Ward Avenues in Patterson . The ambiance is very comfy and relax , pair up with AC , big windows and trees outside to provide shades . It is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee , working your lap top or chat with friends . Their summer drinks are blended island colada energy drink , blended passion fruit guava lemonade refresher,iced hazel nut oatmeal shaken espresso. Etc . The staffs are very cheerful and helpful . I just had to take pictures inside! Felt like "I would be lucky to work here" atmosphere! Althou I wasn't acknowledged/greeted by employees while no customers were in line only 2 were sat at tables enjoying coffee with laptop. But that was totally ok with me! First off, the overall vibe was very much "I don't care, I'm just here to take your order." That's exactly how the staff came across. I ordered a grande iced decaf mocha, and I know what a mocha is supposed to look like--I've ordered plenty of them before. When I got to the window, I told the girl it didn't look like a mocha. She tried to tell me it was lighter because they had to add a lot of decaf shots... okay. After I left and took a closer look, I realized they had actually given me a frappuccino. I went back and explained I didn't order a frappuccino. She kept asking, "So you want a mocha over ice?" Yes--that's what I ordered in the first place. The baristas there don't seem very knowledgeable, which explains the mix-up. What made it worse is they didn't even use a new cup--they remade the drink in the same one. I also asked for light whip, and I watched her load it up anyway without even checking the cup. Very disappointing experience. This place really needs to improve their customer service. I ordered Matcha latte with salted caramel foam and no ice. What I end up 3/4 of my drink was filled with foam, because I didn't get ice. They do this every time. I pay $10 for the drink and I end up with 2 sips of drink. I have asked them to remake it but they give me the same cup again. It's so upsetting! I'm sure I am not the only one they're doing this to. That's cheating people and being really cheap otherwise this would not be happening. Wow this place has some really bad reviews which I really don't understand. We've been coming to this Starbucks for almost 2 whole years since moving to Patterson and have only had one slight mess up on a drink order. We always do mobile ordering and when we walk in it's ready to go on the counter. We've even gone thru the drive thru and it moves quickly. As soon as you walk in the they greet you and are super friendly! We definitely will continue to keep coming back to grab a drinks! read more

Please explain to me why it is so hard to make my drink correct!? Venti mocha decaf with no whip and no foam, stirred well with no room! I get a venti half full of coffee. If you won't make it right won't you tell us but instead you make the drink incorrectly. I had to ask twice to get it done and then my cheese danish is no longer warm. I use to order four drinks a day every two to three times a week. I stopped that because my drinks were not correct and I drove from Newman. Today I happened to be in the area and stopped for coffee.. it took your employee three different times to make it correct and the danish I ordered with it was cold. What was funny, the barista told me that if the drink sat for a while that the foam went away and it would no longer be a full cup of coffee! read more

My favorite location! They have really improved from the early days. My order is always correct and ready when I pick up using the mobile app. They fixed their drive thru issue as well. Worst Starbucks experience ever . I went thru the drive thru I had orderd 2 Drinks I payed about $12 total and I gave 20$ and the girl that was handing me my drinks her name was tanya I believe or tania the point is she didn't really hand me my money she just let the money go when she opened the drive thru window it was about 8$ of change and all she did was laugh and I told her what can she do about it and the girl said nothing that I can get out of my car and go get the money as if I were a dog ! I've been to this starbucks a couple of times now. I love the music they play. The coffee and pastries are great just like any other starbucks but what really takes me away is their customer service. Everyone here is super friendly and welcoming. Every time I come in I always witness them going above and beyond with the guests. One thing that stood out to me is when a visually impaired gentleman came in and two young ladies were super kind and helpful, by taking his drink to him and helping him back to his seat when he stood up to ask for something! This location is always the worst. The employees here are always backed up, forgotten orders constantly. A few are polite and courteous but there's also quite a few employees who are impatient, rude and have no idea what customer service is. It's always chaotic in here and disorganized. I've had two experiences where they've "forgotten" my order, after I'd been standing in the lobby for over 30mins. The wait time for a drink is ridiculous. The management needs huge improvement, and the employees need a training in customer service. Not to mention the cleanliness in the back of the counter, dirty as always. I take the drive to an alternative location to have the proper and swift customer service a buying customer deserves. read more

Let me start off by saying that this Starbucks was surprisingly large and beautifully clean. Two stars for that. I ordered a macchiato with almond milk. About 35-40 minutes later (yes. Seriously.I got my drink made with whole milk. they remade it, but I still had to wait another 5-7 minutes for that. Super frustrating. Surprised of the bad reviews that others have for this location. The world doesn't revolve around you. This Starbucks is run by real great people. Store manager knows customers by name and all are welcoming and always give their best. There may be times of the day that gets so busy so it's expected for orders to take long. It's rarely that I see them short staffed because unfortunately it happens to mostly every businesses. They make mistakes sometimes but that's also expected because we are all prone to do that, it's called "humans". Showing grace will never disappoint you. 100% do not recommend. Save your time, money and sanity by going to the Starbucks near the freeway. I've been here 4 times now so it wasn't like it was one bad experience that led me to write this. Something was wrong every single time. "Why did you keep coming back?" is probably what you're asking. Well, the first two times, they were out of things like salt to make salted foam, Venti cups, etc. I just told myself, "They're still new, I'll cut them some slack." The third time I came in, they were out of grande cups.. but "that's fine", I thought "because I always order a grande in a Venti cup." Nope. The girl taking my order said she doesn't think they can do that because they don't know the measurements.. I've been ordering it like this all the time though and even when a Starbucks is out of grande cups, they can eyeball the measurements for my drink. I mean, it's just a black tea with salted foam, lol. So I told her I've always ordered it this way and she said, "ok we can try." Drink came out fine. Still, the whole interaction just portrayed an unexperienced staff, or at least, staff member. Now.. time for the long story of the final straw that broke the camels back. I first came in to address a double charge from their store for my previous order. The guy looked it up, printed one receipt and said "nope, there's only one charge on our system". Ok, but my bank statement (which I showed him) clearly showed two charges. A "sorry, an employee must have swiped twice but cancelled one charge" would have been nice. But ok sure, I'll just come back if the charge does not dissolve itself. I go on to place my order and I should mention I was the ONLY person in line and there were at least 7 people working. The girl who took the order seemed like she may be new, granted she was nice. So now I'm waiting for my drinks.. 5 minutes go by.. 10 minutes go by.. and I ask the girl "hey do you know if my drinks are almost ready?" And she asks for my name to go check for me.. then comes back, doesn't even update me, and instead goes back to the register to take orders.... uh.... hello? Lol.. I assumed that maybe it was because it was coming out really soon. But nope, another 5 minutes passes by and I loudly say "excuse me, do you know where my drinks are?" The barista asks for my name and it happens to be the sticker he just pulled out and then apologizes because the sticker machine was jammed. Other customers must have heard our interaction because 3 customers then asked about their drinks, which also were jammed or lost. After already waiting 15 minutes for our stickers to print out, I had to wait another 10 minutes for the drinks to be made. So a total of 25 minutes .. and I was the ONLY person in line. It's truly unfortunate because the employees are nice for the most part which is why I still gave them two stars. But, being nice is not enough. Again, there were 7 people working and there was ZERO sense of urgency. I just don't get it. There are unsatisfied customers waiting for their drinks and the speed of the employees were like that of the employees working at a DMV. Just very slow. I never leave bad reviews (you can even check) but I feel like this one was warranted. Not after the first, second or third time I've had a bad experience, but definitely after the fourth time. This Starbucks makes me appreciate the Starbucks near the freeway so much more. They are always super nice and super quick. If it takes a while, it's definitely because of the massive lines and orders they get.. not because the staff is inexperienced or slow. I go to the Starbucks every single morning. I may miss a couple of days out of the week, but the mornings when I do go the girls there never fail!! my White Chocolate Mocha!! is made to perfection, and it's always on time I normally go through drive-thru , if the lines long I go in and my Drink is rite there Ready!I love the Good Energy that they have every morning when I go they are a part of my day. The energy is wonderful Veronica, Jo , Bianca the entire morning Baristas I adore ! I've been going to this Starbucks for two years plus and never once has any of the girls had an attitude they are the greatest and I mean that! And I cannot forget Issac he is an awesome guy. I came in today with a starbucks gift card only to be told it "expired" I never use gift cards but I was given one 3 months ago. I was tricked into allowing her to just throw it away and I pod cash for my order. I come to find out these cards never expire. These employees are ridiculous all for a 15 dollar card.
