Passing by and needed only Starbucks coffee. First time here, what a great decision. Today (8/8/20) at 245pm, all of the staff were great. They attended us promptly and so friendly. I've lived in Bergen County for 4 years now and started going to this Starbucks 2 years ago. I stop at this place between 640-7am Monday - Friday's on my way to work. Sometimes there is a short line, sometimes I walk right in and out. This is one of my favorite Starbucks, likely because the people they have working there in the mornings over the past 2 years are great. They are friendly and smile and are helpful if you have a question. They just renovated it 2 months ago and it looks great. I can't say that parking sometimes stinks like others because I go before 7am when everything else in that location is closed. However, everything parking and traffic wise is Bergen County stinks so I can assume The parking here does also when the stores are all Open. Updated May 17, 2018 So, after 7+ years of stopping here in the morning for my cup of coffee I am going to be heading elsewhere. In the past few weeks as they began transitioning a new manager in to replace the wonderful existing manager Kat, who is now on leave due to having a baby, the overall environment and ambiance of the store has diminished. When I pulled into the lot in the mornings, it was obvious over the past few weeks which manager was there by the amount of cars parked in front of the store. Few cars there, Kat was running the show, 10+ cars, it was transitioning manager and an easy longer wait when going in the store. New manager has shifted or adjusted the hours of seemingly all morning staff which has led to longer lines, slower service and a diminished atmosphere as there is little interaction or smiles with customers and a sense of completely being overwhelmed. The inviting and want to go there for coffee experience has been taken from the morning regulars. One can only hope corporate gets their act together her or Kat and the regular morning crew return quickly! Til then, quick chek makes a great cup of coffee in the morning, and another Starbucks location will get my business when I need a coffee in the afternoon. read more

I generally avoid this Starbucks, bc it has always been one of the filthiest Starbucks I've ever been to. But I occasionally go because it's the closest Starbucks to me. You'd think that during COVID they'd be cleaner but it still was filthy. The entry door was covered in fingerprints, as if people were trying to avoid touching the door where they could see where it had already been touched. Gross. Also, when they finished making my Double Chocolate Chip frappucchino, I asked where the whipped cream was. They said, "Oh we ran out." They could have told me beforehand, maybe I would have ordered something else. Also, I've never been to a Starbucks that ran out of whipped cream. Yet based on another reviewer, apparently this isn't the first time at this location. I was sitting at Starbucks last fall when the person next to me seemed to be a higher up, making sure everything was running properly. That was the only time I saw this Starbucks looking clean and people trying to act like they were working really hard. I don't like writing bad reviews but I feel like I have to. This is honestly the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. Even when there's a line out the door, the workers are not rushing around trying to fill orders. They've been slow before, but today, I waited 15 minutes and didn't even see my empty cup in the line up. I had to jump in front of the line and ask for a refund because even if I'd left at that moment, I'd be 10 minutes late for work. I heard the cashier ask if one of the baristas wanted help on bar and he said no. He was the only one making drinks and there were at least 20 people waiting for their orders. Also, on two separate occasions, I waited forever for a mobile order only to learn that the machine had jammed and they never saw it. Like I said, I really don't like writing bad reviews. I'm hoping a manager from that Starbucks sees this and hires more baristas. I'm going to stop going to this Starbucks because it always makes me late. Ok I am a Starbucks shareholder, I LOVE Starbucks. I always defend them against any "fast food coffee" accusations that I hear. But honestly, this location is the WORST. I'd say the accuracy of drinks received here is sub 50%. The employees always seem to have a chip on their shoulders and are contemptuous. You guys are killing me. If it's an off peak time and you can get parking, do yourself a favor and go to the one in Target in the Bergen Mall. read more

It's on my way to work, so pretty much it's a plus! it's small Starbucks not for authors with laptops, they have big parking lot because of the small plaza with other stores. They make my Iced tea and Latte pretty good :) read more

Who hasn't had Starbucks? Lets just say I haven't had Starbucks in some time and I always pass this location never bothering to stop in and get some of my favorites (caramel macchiato or white chocolate mocha). Well it did the trick. I stopped in on May 28, 2013 determined to get myself a nice hot cup of caramel macchiato with extra caramel and whip cream. And it did the trick. The drink was so hot that I couldn't drink it for almost a good 5 to 10 minutes (just the way I like it) but the downside was it wasn't as sweet as I would have liked. I don't like this Starbucks. It is not conducive to sitting around and drinking coffee. The baristas on the weekends are not so friendly. My orders are wrong more times than right. They don't have a good set up for mobile orders. Last time I took a swig of my cold brew in the parking lot and nearly choked on the loads of coffee grinds. This Starbucks is on the smaller side with a limited number of chairs & bar space available but the drinks are pretty consistent with what I get at other SBs. It's also conveniently located on route 4 so I can stop by and grab something before hoping on Parkway South. read more

Let's start with saying that people make mistakes. Buttttt, it wasn't that busy and I was the only one who ordered a coffee at that time from their Clover machine . After waiting 10 mins I questioned where my coffee was from the clover . They handed me a grande , I ordered a tall, they said it was the columbian blend , I didn't order that, and they put the name Andy on the cup which is why I was standing there like an idiot . So i ordered one coffee. You got my name wrong ( James and Andy sound nothing a like ) , you got my coffee size wrong , and you got the coffee itself wrong . WTF read more

Yikes. I should've known better than to go to a Starbucks in a Target on a snowy Saturday. Service was friendly, but incompetent. Asked for a cup of ice to cool down my coffee, got ice water (no biggie, but I've never had any other Starbucks screw up this request). It took over ten minutes to get a double espresso and a regular coffee, despite that there were only four people in front of me in line. If you're really jonesing for a Starbucks fix and this is convenient (i.e. you're already at Bergen Town Center and NOT heading down 4 West or up 17 (where there's more SB locations)), sure, stop in. This has got to be one of the absolute WORST Starbucks stores ever. I came in for a simple croissant and espresso. The girl at the cash register looked at me like I had three heads. Was she spaced out? Probably. They didn't have the croissant so I got a refund. Making the espresso has taken forever. Five minutes later I looked on at the counter and there is an espresso but did the idiot who made it say anything about Beth having it ready no of course not why would he but they can certainly have a great time shuffling and dancing to the music instead of preparing orders. Quick service, lots of parking. Only drawback in that the store is small inside and the layout feels cramped even when sitting at a table.

Literally every single time I go to this Starbucks, I order the same drink. I order a passion tea lemonade with 6 pumps of the sweetener. Every single time that I've received this drink, I have never seen them put sweetener in it. When I taste it, it tastes like my toe. It is so gross. It does not seem that difficult to put sweetener in a drink, but they manage to mess it up everytime. read more

Most unfriendliest Starbucks around. It's hit or miss but rude unfriendly baristas outweigh the nice ones. A simple good morning, hello, hi goes a long way. You could literally stand there with no one else around and you won't get not even a smile. I wouldn't mind the lack of manners if they would get the orders right which 40% doesn't happen.
