PROS: this was a nice starbucks. staff was nice, it was clean, and they work hard. parking is plentiful and they made my order correctly CONS: Limited seating compared to other starbucks and where they put the orders was all unorganized and my cup was lost in the mix OVERALL: I would definitely come back here, but while you wait for your order just keep your eyes on the employee calling for your name that way your drink isnt lost amongst the thousands waiting

The Starbucks at Essex Street has become my top choice due to its exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere. Actually, this location stands out as the exclusive spot to enjoy the delightful New Raspberry Croissant. The best item Not on the menu nowhere else!

    Quick coffee break

Came to this spot while visiting family in Jersey and after going to a couple others that were sold out of the new pumpkin cream cold brew--I was on a mission! And the drink did not disappoint. The top layer of "foam" is where you'll find the drink boasts it sweetened pumpkin flavor. The creaminess of this first layer is then preceded by the bold rich flavor of the cold brew coffee. The ambiance of this Starbucks was typical of any others. There were some cute retail items which I debated purchasing only because I didn't really need another coffee mug. Other hopefully useful tips are there is no drive through and parking can be a bit tricky. The Starbucks however is centrally located and Hackensack hospital is within walking distance.

Great local starbucks! The staff is courteous and makes drinks exactly as per the requests. Went there today to grab the strawberry shortcake frappuccino, it tastes good, nothing magical about it. If you like other starbucks frappuccions then i am sure you will like it.

    Mocha frap

Needed to waste some time waiting for an outpatient at the hospital around the corner and decided to grab a frap here. Parking lot was full, but cars are constantly in and out so easy to find a spot. Line to the door, but it moved very fast. Ordered my hubs his mocha frap and the chocolate pound cake. Cashier was really friendly and place was clean. Unlike other Starbucks, they didn't ask for your name and just marked your cup with what you ordered. However when waiting at pickup, it was rather noisy from the crowd and overhead speaker blasting music. We didn't hear the server call out "mocha frap" hence it sat there with us all staring at it for a minute. I finally asked whose is this and after looking at the fellow patrons shrugging their shoulders we assumed it was ours, grabbed it, and left. Hubs downed it and said the poundcake was really moist and hit the spot. No complaints here! Just prefer if they stick to writing your name on the cup.

Every time I come here I always have a great experience! The employees are very nice and friendly! They are also doing a very cute and sweet idea of putting out sticky notes and markers so customers can put nice notes for others! Truly love this idea and hope every Starbucks is doing this!

Pink drink (Strawberry Acai tea with coconut milk) and a plain bagel with cream cheese.

This Starbucks is located in a small shopping plaza which by the way, is annoyingly difficult to get into with all the traffic around the area. The service was bad. When I ordered my drink (strawberry acai with coconut milk) and a plain bagel with cream cheese the cashier had an attitude, which I didn't appreciate. The barista made my drink quick but I waited more than five minutes for my bagel, and it was pretty soft even when I asked for it to be toasted. Wasn't pleased with this spot, but I guess if it's not busy the service would be better. I GUESS.

They've only been open for a year or so, but have been very successful! I've visited a few times and have never been disappointed. The interior is cozy and chic, with Argentinian-inspired decor like navy blue accents, lush greenery, wooden tones, leather couches, and wall art of Buenos Aires. There are two floors with seating and lounge areas. It truly feels like you're in someone's comfy living room! The cafe is part of an apartment building that used to be a bank, so there are high ceilings and arched windows. The owner, Jeremias, added thoughtful touches to make the cafe a welcoming and inviting space for customers. They have free wifi, outlets, dog treats, and crayons for kids! The menu offers your classic espresso beverages as well as seasonal and specialty drinks. My all-time favorite is the dulce de leche latte. I've had it hot and iced. They both taste amazing, but I prefer it hot. The steamed milk froth is the perfect texture - silky and creamy with micro foam bubbles. They have a machine that prints out cute messages/latte art on the surface :) The drink itself has a good balance between espresso, steamed milk, and dulce de leche sauce. If you need that strong cup of coffee that will keep you energized, you came to the right spot. The espresso is bold, rich, smooth, and well balanced with the caramelized, milky sweetness of the dulce de leche. They have a variety of popular Argentinian pastries like medialunas, vigilantes, bolas, sacramentos, margarita pasteleras, empanadas, and more. Everything is baked with love, freshly made in-house, and delicious! You cannot go wrong with trying any of them. The dough is flaky, buttery, and fluffy. Nothing is overly sweet. If you're a fan of dulce de leche (caramelized milk jam), you're in the right place because many of the pastries are filled with it. And if you've never tried it before... you must!!! Don't forget to grab an empanada, especially the beef! The dough is flaky, tender, and stuffed with a ton of meat. The filling consists of ground beef, onions, bell peppers, hard-boiled eggs, and spices (cumin, paprika, oregano). The beef is juicy, savory, and seasoned with warm spices for a touch of heat. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and personable. They have a lot of loyal/regular customers (rightfully so) and there's a genuine sense of community here. This is the type of spot that will remember your face, name, and order. It's not easy to find great customer service nowadays. Drinks crafted with care, fresh pastries, warm service, and a cozy environment? Now that's the type of cafe that I will keep coming back to over and over again. Stop by Cafe Baires if you want a taste of Argentina!

I'm always disappointed when tea comes out aggressively sweet, but this was made perfectly to my taste.
