My go-to Starbucks every single morning on my way to work. I'm starting to wish that there was another Starbucks on my route but there isn't. Staff is usually friendly although lately there's been a few miserable baristas in the morning. When the brand new baristas are working the morning rush, it takes an eternity to get a drink. Saw a poor new barista mess up 4 drinks in a row while there were easily 10 people waiting. Honestly can't blame her though, she was completely overwhelmed! The friendly staff though, is always a pleasure in the morning! So yeah, the staff is hit or miss but it's your typical Starbucks offerings so I head there for my caffeine fix! read more

Nice little SB that is always packed because it is next to the busiest hospital in NJ / NY. And it also draws the crowds from nearby residential housing. If you know anything about the Prospect Ave then you know for a fact that it is packed with apartment complexes. I used to live in one of those until I recently relocated to West New York. There's really nothing close by in terms of good coffee shop or even decent place to eat. However, this SB is conveniently located in that tiny mall with Cosi, Duane Reade and Bank of America. It used to be my favorite stop to catch up with friends, working or even just reading couple of good books; only problem is you have to find a spot and claim it. It's very difficult to find a seat so large groups are not recommended. The baristas are helpful, courteous and professional. I am not a fan of talking up a storm with your local baristas. I like to get my coffee and get going. I appreciate that a LOT. read more

Very slow. This shop also has the worst parking lot and worst store layout of any Starbucks I've been to. The counter where orders are picked up is right next to the entrance and causes a very cramped and uncomfortable 15 minute wait. My order was also incorrect, and took another long wait to receive what I had asked for(which ended up tasting weird...). No biggie, but this is definitely my least favorite Starbucks. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. Waiting for my sandwich and noticed that everybody the order after me was gone so I asked the girl handing out all the orders she said yes they are making it. I waited another 10 minutes and went back up to her and said can you confirm they're making it so she yelled at my name and they said oh we made it already so obviously she gave it to somebody else. So they're supposed to be making a new sandwich 10 more minutes go by and I still haven't got it I asked her again she yelled out my order than the kid making it came up and said oh we're out of turkey bacon so obviously they weren't even making my order what a joke, joke just a joke read more

Worst Starbucks in the area! I visited this past Monday and ordered a cold brew and hot food, my companion ordered a hot drink...his hot latte was served yet mine wasn't. I had to ask twice what's up (!) and when it finally arrived it was under filled, to insult me further I guess! Sadly this isn't the first time, seems whenever I go here something is not available, or it takes forever, etc. Good thing there's others to visit! read more

I love this place. This place is easily accessible to me. They are serving a great variety of holiday specials, especially in love with their eggnog cappuccino. It's super yummy!! The only thing that's bad is the small area of the shop. It gets congested even with a small line, otherwise a great place to stop for sandwiches and coffee. read more

One of the worst Starbucks to go to, especially after noon. The morning staff is, for the most part, on top of it and the wait isn't that long. However going after noon, even after a mobile order will require you to wait a minimum of 15 minutes after your order is placed and despite the wait, there's a high chance your order will be messed up. The staff isn't very sympathetic to the waiting customers and despite their slowness, still find time to check their cellphones multiple times over while there's a huge line of customers. read more

Extremely disappointed in this location. The line was ten people deep when we walked in and by the time we left it was out the door. There was only one person making drinks and one person at the register. It took over twenty minutes to purchase and receive one single drink. They didn't appear to be understaffed since we saw another three employees however two were stocking. Hopefully this location can get it together since it is usually very busy. read more

Lines are usually long (typical) but at other locations, I feel the baristas really try to provide quality service while keeping the fast pace. Very crowded, loud and tables are not very clean. Would only recommend for an in an out type of experience...definitely not for working remotely/important meetings. read more

There's a guy sitting here and he has his shoes off, sitting Indian style. Either Starbucks doesn't care or they haven't seen him yet, but people eat here and come to enjoy the atmosphere and work. If you're going to be noisy and not respect others by keeping your shoes on while you're here, then go somewhere else. I came to this Starbucks on a Sunday night to catch up with one of my friends over coffee. This starbucks is on the smaller side, but it does still provides some tables to sit down at. Do to the proximity to Hackensack University Medical Center it can be very crowded at times. As soon as i entered the coffee shop i was greeted by one of the Baristas. To me, having a well trained and polite staff is key to a great coffee shop. Overall i would rate this establishment as follows: Coffee quality 3.5 stars (typical starbucks), atmosphere is 3 stars and the staff is 3.5- 4 stars. One downside to this starbucks is the limited/ restrictive parking during the day. I would definitely recommend this establishment and would go back again.
