This has to be one of the nicest Starbucks I've been to. And let me tell you, I've been to loads of them everywhere...lol... Along the main strip of El Paseo shopping area. There's a nice patio seating as well as inside. One section has a big communal table and the other side has the smaller tables along the windows. But right when you walk in, there's a little living room seating area right in the middle. Counter is to your right when you walk in. Of course the day I visited, it was packed. It took a while to order which even in line, people kept on arriving. If you know Starbucks, you know what they have. Staff were all quite friendly and sweet. Even with the massive line, everyone was still pretty polite and friendly. Greetings everyone with a Welcome In as they entered. The pickup counter was quite busy. There was only one gentlemen preparing the drinks which he was getting them out. About 10 minutes or so someone's came to join. The spot is nice. Is Starbucks the best coffee place to get your caffeine fix? Arguably there are probably better small business coffee shops. However, the thing they do well, is consistency across multiple locations. Judging purely on the standard, that is the Starbucks brand this location held up across the board. I came in on an afternoon and there were quite a few customers sitting with a cup, enjoying the late sun and the laid-back vibes you come to expect. The barista who took my order was a total sweetheart and got to work on my drink drinks right away. It was clean and the shelves were stocked full. The AC worked, which is a plus in this heat and all of the countertops/tables were clean. I would come back again and probably will in the near future to get my next cup. We came here on Thanksgiving day while the turkey was cooking. Paseo Street has probably over 200 stores. It was quite a walk. We stopped here for a drink. She got a regular coffee and I got some sort of mango tea. They were both good. We were very thirsty. This Starbucks was very crowded and it took a while for the coffee to be ready for some reason. We both when enjoyed the drinks on a rather hot day. Parking was not bad actually. read more

Bathroom To The World You'd think cities would finally figure out how to get a public bathroom..... truly public bathroom available and installed where people could just put a coin in or wave their phone & voila ... the door would open and then could finally relieve themselves. Jacob the cashier on 1/14/26 was so rude and sassy for no reason. I didnt know i wasnt able to pick up my bday drink on the day of my bday and the way he explained was as if he didnt care AT ALL and was very sarcastic about it. The lady who made my drink got the drink wrong but thankfully she apologized and remade it. I saw jacob with other customers and everything about his body language made it feel like he did not care. I dont know if anyone else notices how baristas interact with the guests and notice body language but his was not it today. The other employees that were not making coffees or cleaning were standing around in a huddle and talking. This is really a very good Starbucks so this 3 star review is based just on today's experience. The guy making the drinks about 8am, somewhat tall with tattoos and hair close cut on the side, clearly had a bad case of the sniffles, like a cold or something. He shouldn't have been working as he constantly wiped his nose with the back of his hand (ungloved), and proceeded to put his hands all over the drink lids. Every drink he maid, hands directly on the lids. On the hot lids (the white ones) this is exactly where a customer puts his mouth. It was gross and I almost didn't want to drink my drink at all. Starbucks can and should do better. Don't fire him, just don't let him work sick. read more

If you are not familiar--this is the El Paseo Shopping/Dining Street Starbucks. El Paseo is the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert. You have to know what you are doing to work at this Starbucks--customers here are very discerning and demand perfection. And perfection is what I got in my Pikes coffee. My coffee was so strong it last 3 days! and tasted at good as day 1. (Make sure to refrigerate.) They have an outdoor seating area on El Paseo which is a great place to sit and people watch. That is another big selling part of this Starcrooks. Parking is free and easy on the street or in back. Employees are as friendly as can be but usually under enormous demand pressure due to the location--so take it easy on them. read more

This Starbucks was located across the street from my hotel, I found if I ordered just as I was leaving my room that it would be ready about the time I got there. got 4 items; 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 drinks ORDERED IN STORE. we waited for our stuff but one drink didn't come out and we were standing by the bar waiting for our orders. All Starbucks in the desert are excellent with very nice employees. I go to this one because I like El Paseo. Since everyone knows how good the coffee is, my review is on the sweets. The Double Chocolate Brownie is delicious! It's fudgy, yet slightly chewy. The chocolate chunks on top are high quality and melt in the mouth. I highly recommend trying it. The Kitchen Sink Cookie I didn't like as much. It was good, but a little too sweet with the white chocolate chips. It has cranberries, a pretzel, and a oreo wafer on top. It has chew, but not as much as their chocolate chunk cookie and it's soft. The Chocolate Chunk Cookie is delicious, chewy, and soft. The chocolate chunks are high quality. This is a good choice if you like chocolate chip cookies like I do. Butter Croissant: where do I start?! The best butter croissant I've ever had. Get it warmed! I wish that I had read the horrible reviews on this store before I made the mistake to go in there early yesterday morning. This is the absolute worst Starbucks I've ever been in! Ordered our coffees & 2 breakfast sandwiches. First the breakfast sandwiches were wrong. When I finally got an employee to look at me, he grudgingly took them back, treated me like I was being a jerk & walked away. A while later, I heard my name with the right sandwiches. Then the Americano & latte came out. I looked for the table to add sugar & 1/2 to the Americano. There apparently isn't one in this store. After searching everywhere, a nice customer told me I was supposed to order it with the cashier when I ordered the drinks. How the heck would anyone know that? There's no signs & I wasn't asked when I ordered. When I returned to the barista area, I was again treated like I was a jerk & I was totally bothering them. She took my Americano & dumped so much milk in it that she ruined it. From the interactions I had it here, customer service is non existent here. Great Quick Service... Hot yummy coffee made right... Great good too! Try the Caramel Macchiato...Hot or Cold are both great options...you won't be disappointed! It's made with Espresso & Milk (or substitute Soy Milk for the milk if you're lactose intolerant) & several pumps of Vanilla Syrup (I modify mine by asking for 1/2 the sweetener) & Drizzled with Caramel Sauce... Lots of tables available to converse with your group or do some reading. It is packed right now on a Saturday around 11:30am. The baristas are fast here and the drinks orders are correct. The last time I got an espresso macchiato at the location of 111 & Monroe, it was horrible. Completely burnt tasting and I couldn't do anything since I was at work. My coworker got an iced caramel macchiato and his was also burnt so I'm assuming there was something wrong with their beans during that time. I would give this four stars, since it has a decent patio, although the patio has very few seats in the shade. Stuff the manager could and should work on: -When a customer spills, and another customer sees it, goes in and asks for a towel, have towels ready to go. The demographic here is middle aged to older, so when I see an elderly lady spill her coffee, my inclination is to help her. Instead, I go and ask for a towel, and they tell me to wait for someone to come out and clean it. I said that I would prefer not to wait, I am happy to grab a towel because someone spilled coffee all over themselves and she said, "ma'am, as I said, I'll have someone come out." Well, it look d to busy for them to spare anyone, and I predicted, accurately, I might add, that it would take a good deal of time for someone to be spared to clean her up. We waited so long, we gave up and she went to the restroom to clean up. 10 minutes later, someone came to clean the spill. Long story short, of someone asks for a towel, give them a clean one AND send someone out. -The rails of the counter outside needs cleaning, as do the windows. This place gets a lot of traffic. Clean the door glass and handles more often. It's sort of unwelcoming seeing so many hand prints on the door. -Don't let the trash can out front overflow. Again, trashy and unwelcoming. I really like this Starbucks. It does get super busy throughout the day. There is plenty of parking from their own parking area, to parking on the street or parking in the parking garage or many parking areas around El Paseo. The staff is always friendly and have yet to get a messed up order to great job guys! The internet is super fast which I need. They have patio seating where you can relax and read a book or just hang out and chat. This Starbucks is in a prime location right off of El Paseo. Love it here. read more

No need to review Starbucks--you know them, you hate them/you love them. But I am reviewing this location. They completed a remodel this year that massively improved it. The outdoor seating is more orderly and offers wide railings that function as a bar counter. And the interior was reorganized to enable both more tables and better flow. When you consider it's on the most happening corners on Rodeo Drive--Oops, sorry, I mean El Paseo Drive--near the Apple Store, and across from Lululemon and the Gardens on El Paseo shopping center, it's tough to beat for a double shot and a hang. read more

This is a great location for tourists, not so much for locals and their daily brew. This location used to be smaller and less cluttered with the seating style and arrangement they chose to employ. The outside area has gone from a cozy, yet practical people watching spot and has become a few seating options mixed with a stand up bar style area, which all got redesigned when the late night menu was introduced, which included their offerings of alcoholic options. There's almost always (85%) chance you're going to be in line for the till that stretches often to or out the main entrance, even if you pre-order your beverage before arriving you're likely going to either wait to find parking nearby or wait for your beverage as it seems they ignore mobile orders a bit from the time they print out in favour of clearing the backlog of in store drinks for those waiting. I get that this is a high volume store due to location, but the layout of the till and the bunched up seating to which most inaccessible if someone is seated behind or next to it was in poor design. Do note this location easily runs out of cold brew, heated food items and pastries on a consistent basis and so it could ruin your expectations! read more

Really Stabucks! I just left this Starbucks on El Paseo with my 2 year old daughter. I purchased 2 grande coffees, 2 bacon Gouda and a spinach feta wrap. Upon receiving my drinks and sandwiches I was infirmed that they were out of trays, which is fine and has happened before but when I asked for a bag to accommodate for the lack of trays the guy making the breakfast sandwiches snidely replied do you have 10 cents.. So out if principle I pulled out my credit card to pay the 10 cents. The funny thing is, it probably cost your store more to process the 10 cents then to give me a bag in substitute for your missing drink trays. I love my Starbucks I just won't be back to this one. This team is awesome!! From Barrett the Manager to all of their delightful employees they are always so personable and friendly. I haven't been able to visit for some time because they were closed due to Covid, but now that they are back open for takeout I will definitely be stopping here more often. Service was slow. Staff was inconsiderate. After I left I was accosted on the public sidewalk by the manager. He was angry that I was getting a political pamphlet from an elderly lady. I complained to the district manager but they refused to resolve it and even threatened me with paying their legal fees. read more

This location is stellar. The employees are excellent, the drinks are on point and they are 'happy to help'. Never have we once ever had a problem with the consistency and superb customer service from these fine baristas. Some of the other Starbucks (are you reading this avenue 48 in coachella starbucks?) can take lessons from these guys. It's always a classy ambiance here, a 'rodeo drive meets urban shopping mecca intersection' it's superb management cares about their pedestrian traffic and it shows. Awesome patio, great to relax the feet after a day of over spending on El Paseo...or for a quick pick me up.
