This Starbucks is the closest to my office building and even though I'm a remote worker, I do sometimes have office meetings so usually hit up this Starbucks on the way in. First off, the building is HUGE. I'm not sure what it's hiding in its upstairs office space, but go ahead and keep your secrets... The drive through is rather long and winding, and you have to basically drive around the perimeter of the parking lot to order and get up to the delivery window. At least that was the way to order via drive through last time I was there. Maybe they've rerouted or updated that since. I usually get the iced caramel latte in summer, hot or iced pumpkin spice when spooky season begins, and a nice hot peppermint mocha when it's time to become a sweater goblin in winter. Coffee is always great and service is on point, as I'm sure Starbucks employees are programmed to be. If you're in this midtown area looking for a Starbucks and don't want to deal with the crazy parking lot on 72nd and Dodge - this location is a hidden gem, even with its quirks. read more

We ordered via the app. Got a lecture to order a minimum of 8 minutes ahead of time as the order had just came through. We were the only ones in the drive through and no customers were visible in the store. Went in with 2 other people, we each ordered one drink and it took the baristas 30 minutes to make 3 simple drinks. We didn't ask for any customization aside from the sizes. Watched one barista stand around on her phone for 15 minutes before starting one of the drinks. We were the only ones in the shop at the time too. Decent coffee, though. read more

Starbucks? Really? Everybody knows Starbucks. This is about my experience at this particular location. I have two favorite things at Starbucks--their flat white which is pretty good and the packages of madeleines. That's what I ordered and was happy they had the madeleines, which are often out of stock these days. I pulled up close to the window and the worker held the madeleines out to me. My hand was on the pack but not closed around it when she let go. Fudge! It hit the ground and went under the car. Here's where I have the problem. To the worker, it was like a non-event. No reaction whatsoever. I opened my door to see if I could get it and couldn't even see it. However, there were plenty of pennies on the ground next to the car. I was parked too close to the window to get out to find the package. Many times at drive-thru windows I have dropped change. Usually the worker says don't worry about and gives me new change. That's what I was expecting, but no, not this time. I did ask her if she could see it, and she said it was under the door. Then she handed me my coffee and closed the window. Since I was too close to get out, I slowly moved forward, checking to see if the madeleines came into view. Nope! But when I heard the soft POP, I knew exactly where they were, and there they stayed. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if it was coffee that dropped. Was the worker too inexperienced to know what to do? Or is it the policy at this location that if something drops, that's just too bad. read more

I've been physically inside this Starbucks and this morning was an opportunity to use the drive through window. The young lady who took my order selected the wrong item I requested though the speaker system but it was corrected once I saw the item on the screen. The next issue was asking her to charge my gift card for the car behind me, a complete stranger. She had to perform 2 different transactions when she could of placed both charges on 1 ticket. Go figure....the reason why I lowered my rating. I hope a co-worker helped her understand why this wasn't efficient or complicated after I left. read more

This new Starbucks location is conveniently located on the end of a strip near 72 and Pacific. At the time of this review they are one of three Starbucks locations in Omaha that carries Reserve Coffee. They also have a complete selection of bakery items. The coffee was what you would expect from Starbucks. I had several meetings here this morning, and the place was consistently busy, though never packed. Though they have an entry way to help regulate the temperature, they need to work on their heating. It is 35 degrees outside today, and very chilly inside. I never took my coat off and my toes are chilled. If they can figure out the heating issue, I can see myself frequenting this location. It is centrally located within Omaha with quick access to I-80 and Dodge. A great place to meet people! read more

It's just the employees I was told today I can't come through the drive-through unless I'm wearing a shirt they have previously told me they can't remake my drinks, even though I ordered the same thing every day and spend hundreds of dollars a week at this establishment itself I and am I wrong to ask for my drink to be remade?? all I wanted was for them to do their job and make my drink correct. What can I say about Starbucks that you don't already know? The breakfast sandwiches are awesome and the pumpkin loaves scream eat me. But my favorite by far is a grande chai tea latte. It's smooth and has just enough of the frothy goodness to get me going in the morning. The location is cool. Not a lot of parking, but it's Omaha. I'm from Atlanta so I've got to be fair. This is your typical Starbucks location in the words typical I mean they were very courteous they made the drinks exactly as ordered they delivered them in a timely manner and were very pleasant during the entire experience. I love coffee and although PEETS is my favorite there aren't any in town so I was happy there was a Starbucks so close by. On this particular Saturday I've visited in the drive-through three times I ordered a total of six drinks during the three visits and all were made properly, served by courteous friendly staff and in a timely manner. Even though they were very busy they handled the rush quite well and served our drinks as asked for and smiled and delivered timely. Some Starbucks aren't those good this one is the gem. I don't frequent Starbucks often but I had a couple giftcards that I wanted to use up so I stopped by a few times. The place has a nice ambience and smells great. I don't know if I'd want to do any hard core studying here but it would be pleasant to sit and read, meet a friend to catch up, or get a few things done. I ended up purchasing some Sweetened Iced Coffee and French Roast coffee packets so I can enjoy that strong Starbucks coffee at work. I've been to this Starbucks only a few times but every time that I've went, it is a pleasant experience. The service is fast and friendly and always gets my drinks correct. One thing that pops out about this Starbucks is the attitude. It's great here. All three times that I've been here, every single employee has a smile on their face and seems to truly be liking what they do. That makes a huge difference. On Monday, November 8, 2021, I went to the Starbucks at 354 N Saddlecreek Rd, Omaha, Nebraska. I waited in a very lengthy line to get my order of Chai and Pumpkin Loaf. I was heading to a business appointment in West Omaha. As I left and started towards my appointment, I took a sip of my Chai and was disappointed to find that it tasted like warm watered down Chai. As I did not want to go back and wait in the long line again, I decided to call your customer service number-800-starbuck. I talked to someone and explained the situation and asked if I could have it remade at another Starbuck location that would be on the way to where I was heading for my appointment. He apologized and said that any Starbucks would be able to help me and remake the drink and just to let them know I had spoken with customer service. I approached the Starbucks at 72 & Poppleton. They too had a long line. When I finally got to the ordering area, I said I wanted to order a tall replacement Chai as the one I had just gotten at another location was not made correctly. She kept saying she couldn't hear me even though I kept saying loudly that I wanted a replacement Chai for NO CHARGE. She said that I should just come to the window and they would deal with it there. When I got to the window they said they could not make a replacement Chai for NO CHARGE...that was not their policy. I explained that I had just talked to customer service at the 800 number and that I had been told ANY Starbucks could make a replacement Chai. They kept refusing and I called the 800 Starbucks number and explained the situation and asked them to explain that it was customary in this situation to make the drink for no charge. The phone person said that she would get a supervisor. Meanwhile cars are piling up behind me and they are saying they would not wait to talk to a supervisor and that I needed to leave the line. I said I would not and that they needed to talk to the supervisor. THEY THEN ACTUALLY THREATENED THAT IF I DID NOT LEAVE THE LINE THEY WOULD CALL THE POLICE!!! The on duty manager, McKenzie, said that if I pulled up and parked that she would come out AND talk to the supervisor. I explained what happened to the Supervisor at Customer Service and they were very apologetic and said that should not have happened. The Supervisor asked McKenszie if there wasn't some way they could accommodate me. McKenzie asked to explain what happened. Her lame excuse was that they thought this was a scam...even though I had the undrunk cup of chai in the car, the bag from pumpkin bread and a pup cup for my dog who was in the back seat that was not yet touched. By that time I was already 25 minutes because of this ridiculous bs so I told the Supervisor that I would leave AND asked to have the District Manager contact me. He said he messaged her (Emily) and that he would have her call me. It is now approx 9 pm and although I have called THREE times to customer service indicating that Emily had not called I was assured she would call me. I had also told customer service that there had been other times that I REQUESTED to have the District Mgr contact me and that it never did happen so why would this be any different. I asked to have the Customer Service Supervisor call me at the end of his shift to make sure I had gotten a call back. Again, I did call three other times and asked them to send a message to Emily to call me....SHE STILL HAS NOT. I also asked for my money back due to the fact that I had not gotten the drink and due to the HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They said they could not do anything as it would be the District Manager's decision and I would need to be PATIENT and wait for her to contact me. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER. YOU CAN BE ASSURED THAT I AM POSTING THS EXPERIENCE IN EVERY POSSIBLE PLACE AS I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD RATHER UPSET A CUSTOMER THAN MAKE A DRINK THAT COSTS YOU PENNIES TO MAKE TO SATISFY YOUR CUSTOMER...ESPECIALLY SINCE THAT CUSTOMER HAD ALREADY CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS ASSURED THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM AND THEN TO BE TOLD TO LEAVE THE LINE AND IF I DIDN'T THEY WOULD CALL THE POLICE. AND THEN TO BE TOLD IT WAS A SCAM!!! YOU REALLY SHOULD HAVE BETTER MANAGERS WHO CAN PROBLEM SOLVE AT YOUR LOCATIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM YOU ON THE LINE AND THEY STILL ARE REFUSING TO DO WHAT THEY PROMISED THE CUSTOMER. I WON'T BE COMING BACK TO THAT LOCATION ANYTIME SOON AND I WILL BE POSTING THIS EVERYWHERE I CAN SO OTHERS CAN SEE THE LACK OF CONCERN FROM YOUR DISTRICT MANAGER AND THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE POPPLETON LOCATION. read more

I'm a Starbucks junkie and spend more money here a week than I should. The service is always great but if you're in a hurry I wouldn't recommend the drive-thru as it's a super slow process. One of the employees, or friend of an employee, was there sick as a dog. First of all, he was a slob. Eating chips aloud and licking his fingers. Then constantly sorting back his runny ass nose, and sneezing every 2 minutes. Instead of taking his sorry ass to bed, he hung around and probably got us all sick. He kept interacting with one of the employees, so I know he's connected somehow. It was obvious this slob was sick, and no one who worked there told his ass to get out and go home. Stopped by the drive thru on my way to a late night at work. Ordered one of my usual drinks, an iced americano, and I was not pleased. Not sure if they are using different beans or if the espresso hoppers need to be cleaned, or what. The americano was not the usual toasty smooth Starbucks feel. Smaller Starbucks but extremely clean. The staff are really nice and are ready to take your order and go into ultra speedy fast mode to get your order finished. The parking lot of the Starbucks is large and has plenty of room for the cars exiting the drive through. Lots of options for merchandise within the store and food as well. New options of seasonal drinks are displayed colorfully throughout the store and boards behind the counter. The vibe is quieter than most Starbucks due to the layout. read more

Something has changed here the past couple of months and I love it. Fast, friendly, accurate and informative. This staff is amazing, though I prefer coming here during the day. They seemed better staffed during the day. Sometimes coming here during the evening to do my home work, it takes a little longer to get my drink. Or they forget my food. Or they are out of literally everything. Strawberry acai, or hot herbal teas. Coconut milk or a syrup. I kind of get the same things so it's frustrating, but they always help me find a solution. Sometimes the drive through has a very long wait, so don't come through at night and expect the same speedy service. I love the people though, they are very patient. read more

I have been a Starbucks fanatic for years and, overall, the quality and service is great! I have recently started ordering the iced caramel macchiato and it seems that at least 3/5 times that I order this drink it ends up all over my lap! More often than not I order the drink at their drive-thru and they hand me a drink that is overflowing and that you can-not move without having the ice-cold beverage overflow all over the place! It's stressful to be in the middle of a busy workday in need of a cup of coffee and to stop quickly to pick up one of my favorite drinks just to end up having to stop everything and make an unexpected trip home to change my clothes because Starbucks once again served me a drink that should NOT have been served to begin with. It's this attention to detail that makes all the difference in the World! As a consumer that was simply in need of a caffeinated beverage, making the trip to Starbucks for this drink is not worth all of the hassle they have caused me. read more
