My favorite Starbucks drink, Cinnamon dolce latte was good. My "issue" with this place was the service. They were calling out names as they were ready. I didn't hear my name, nor was I even greeted me when I walked in but yet I observed others being greeted right away. I had to inquire about my drink, which had been sitting at the register. I grew up in Olney, so this is my hometown Starbucks, still standing after so many years and after all the adjacent retail spaces have rotated businesses. The interior was clean and spacious and cozy with plenty of seating. The service was great. The barista acknowledged me right away and a cashier took my order without any issues. I ordered the pistachio caramel Frappuccino. Doesn't it sound amazing? It was, but it didn't have a very strong pistachio flavor. The caramel fraps are my favorite so I would definitely order it again. read more

This location could be cleaned more regularly. When I sat down there were crumbs on the chair and table and napkins all over the floor. There was also loose sliced apples on the display/showcase of perishable merchandise. I ordered a hot chocolate and wanted to order a brownie but they ran out. I like their chain's brownie so was bummed. I ordered a warm chocolate chip cookie which was good. My friend ordered a chocolate croissant and coffee. Seating is limited at this location but it had a cozy and welcoming vibe. It was decorated with Christmas stockings at the counter and had inspirational words on post it notes on a wall for World Kindness Day. read more

I enjoy trying out new Starbuck locations & this one was set up with some pizzazz to it. Same layout per sae, just a different vibe with the décor, lighting & furniture, with the Restrooms being uber clean. As if not the norm, the staff was welcoming & friendly while I ordered my new go to Teavana Tea, the Honey Citrus Mint, delish. The graffiti on the food case was a cool advertising idea for the $5 SB Gift Card promotion. You must exude some patience for parking as this location is in a high traffic shopping plaza. Is there really ever a bad visit to Starbuck's or at least one that's not rectified, post visit? read more

The BEST Starbucks location!!! I am a frequent customer to Starbucks and I have visited many locations. This location is always busy and the service is superb. I see the cashiers and barista help each other out so they can be more efficient. Natalie greets customers by their names and she knows exactly how I like my coffee. As much as I have been a loyal customer to this Starbucks since I moved to this area, I am merely stopping by now for the convenience of the location to where I live. I have had it multiple times in the last couple of visits where I have had to ask about my drink and/or I see people who order after me get their food or beverage before I do. While this location always gets my order right, I do feel like I have to budget extra time so I am not late to my own job if I want to visit this Starbucks before. This Starbucks belongs in some high profile New York city! Lovely interior designing and spacious. This place was impeccably clean and there were barstools to sit in front of the baristas. Reminds me of a work study cafe where people could chill all day and study. Situated next to Roots in Olney, this Starbucks is facing the main road of Georgia Ave, so it's convenient to stop by, especially since I pass it on my way to work every morning. I always get a dark roast coffee black, so difficult for me to gage whether they are good baristas or not, but the employees are friendly. Yes, I know these are standard recipes, but they always make a good coffee latte. Besides the drinks, I also have enjoy their protein quinoa salad. Whenever I am in a rush and need a quick bite to eat, I'll grab a salad there.With very fresh ingredients that include grilled white chicken, quinoa, tomatoes, roasted corn, black beans, jicama and cotija cheese, the spring mix of greens and the mild tomato chile vinaigrette all mix very well. For a ~$7 salad, it's satisfying. I've also tried there Vegan Lentil Salad and it's very hearty. This Starbucks is definitely one of my go-tos. If I had the time, I would keep getting my gold member refills for my black coffee too! read more

I am woman enough to admit that I am a coffee addict and if there is a Starbucks within a 10 mile radius of my house, I have most likely been there (yes, including the ones in the grocery stores). This Starbucks is near my daughter's school and is easy to get in and out of. (That being said I usually park in the back half of parking lots, if you want to park directly in front of the store, good luck.) I use mobile ordering 99% of the time and this location doesn't disappoint. I walk in pick up my coffee, say "thank you, gave a great day" and leave. TIP: If you do not use mobile ordering that be prepared to stand in line. This location does get busy with students - before school, after school, anytime there is any kind of game at one of the multiple high schools in the area - frappuccinos are everywhere. Four stars since it is a solid Starbucks. I wish it was a little larger to accommodate all the business. read more

At first, I didn't think it made much sense to rate Starbucks, but I found a couple reasons. First, though, I'll comment on a couple earlier reviews. The portly blond guy is no longer here (at least not this morning), so that's nice. Also, I agree that Starbucks don't appear to have furniture conducive to long stays. Get your "large" coffee (or one of those other dainty drinks), and be gone. That being said, the music is not bad. I never hear anything I hear anywhere else, except the occasional remake from some unknown musician. The environment here is not bad. I'll come back, though I might sneak in a seat cushion. I got an pleasant surprise this morning from Rachel! She took my order this morning and pardon and comp my order in the Spirit of Thanksgiving when she noticed I was having issues paying for my order through the app. This is my first time in Onley, visiting here from California and I will never forget her thoughtful act of kindness and will pass this act of kindness forward to someone else just as she did for me. My elderly father just moved here. I came down to Onley to show him some love. I was lost with GPS all morning, as it kept me going in circles and on so many back roads. A first time to this Starbucks location! Service was on par, drinks made were nice and plenty of sitting areas. Only gripe is thst wish it was cleaner and the trash bins were dumped regularly. I have this theory that Starbucks are not designed for anyone's comfort but their corporate bank accounts. Despite all their free wifi i can tell they're not really places they want people to hang out. Move em in, move em out and keep that register tape rolling. I get you, corporate America. THis place just remodeled itself adn did fairly good job except in stead of making more room for the customers, they made more room for the staff (which are great by the way), and less room for the customers. This is the Starbucks by my parents house. I will come here to do school work and office work. I like that I can leave my laptop out when I go to the restroom and no one will steal it, unlike the one where I live in Chicago. Baristas are good and I've had pretty good service here. It does get super crowded, so I try to come at off hours, but that's not always successful. I'm at that very Starbucks right now. I should get back to work. read more

I don't like coming to this Starbucks unless I'm just in and out. The drinks made taste fine; it's the atmosphere or decor that's the issue. The last two times I went, the employees were literally arguing and fighting with each other in front of the customers!!!! Very unprofessional. The Asian manager lady is crazy by the way... Overall quality of the drinks they serve is good. Drinks are never too watery or never too sweet. The baristas are very kind, complying to any tweaks you ask for in your drink. The place is kept very clean. Tables are not dirty and the floor is clean. Same with their bathroom. Attracts quite a good sized crowd, making it a good mix of quiet at times and a little bit of background noise. Great place to study as well. I come to study at this Starbucks all the time and I get a ton of work done as it isn't too noisy but has enough noise to keep me awake. One thing I really like about this Starbucks compared to some others (ex. Flower Hill at times) is that there are no flies. I have went to a few Starbucks that have had a fly problem, making it very distracting and difficult to focus. This Starbucks does not have flies though. As I said it is very well maintained. i am a die-hard starbucks lover...i've never met a starbucks that i didn't love, until now. EVERY time i've been to this one i've never felt more unwelcomed...or had to wait so long for a drink, even when no one else was in line. no matter what i order, it seems to take them forever to actually make. also, when i forgot to order my drink with soy (i'm lactose intolerant) and then told the employee making my drink, he gave me attitude. i gave them the benefit of the doubt - perhaps it was an off day - but every time i go back it's the same. personal conversations rank higher than customer service here. not pleased...and will not go back. instead i drive to the starbucks on Georgia Ave where i'm treated like an important customer. read more

Ya know, it's Starbucks. Probably don't need to detail that. But... I wanted to give them a brief shout out because the guy working was great. Well, one of them at least. The one seemed to be a bit not totally with it, but the other one was awesome. He wasn't even the one taking my order, but he overheard it and heard me order with soy milk, so he caught my order mid-preparation and said, "You didn't want whip right?" I didn't even know the thing I ordered came with whip so I didn't know not to ask for it, so I appreciate that he put two and two together when he wasn't even the one helping me. I am a regular costumer at Starbucks in Olney. Today, I experienced the worst service I have ever received In my life. I ordered my drink which usually includes a lot of extra toppings. While one of the baristas, LJ I think her name is, made a horrible disgusted face to another one of her coworkers towards my drink. I was extremely appalled and embarrassed by this. I immediately became self conscious over my order and was scared to pick it up out of fear that more people would judge me. No customer should ever feel this type of embarrassment that I felt. Worst of all, this is not the first time. Sometimes when I go in there or my friends go to order custom made special drinks, the baristas make comments and faces. I am sick of it and there needs to be changes made to make all customers feel comfortable. The customer service at this starbucks location is beyond excellent. All the employees are very friendly, polite, and remember your name and order after a couple times. Came in the morning, feeling sleepy, Lisa was there setting up the food case, even though she was busy she said hi! She even remembered my name and my usual!!!! Saira was behind the counter, she made my drink perfectly! Perked me right up!! Was wide awake when I went into work!
