Stopped by for a smoothie and it didn't disappoint. I tried the Green Glow, which was quite delicious. The first few sips tasted, you could really taste the veggies. However, after giving it a good mix, the drinks really started to grow on me. The banana and avocado started to come through more, and it was slightly sweet from the honey. Slim pickings on the baked goods a little before 1pm Friday - I guess I have to go early next time! Service was friendly and my smoothie was out in no time. There's a few tables in the inside and some outside as well parking available in the lot out front.

I went to Wild Bean on a bust Saturday morning and they had a constant flow of people, but were also getting out orders fast. I got the Kouign Amann and the Iced Caramel Shaken Espresso. The shop is Ethiopian owned and partners with a local roaster to process all of their beans, which are sourced from Ethiopia. The Shaken Espresso had the perfect balance of bitterness and milkiness. I really appreciated the cashier suggesting I add an extra shot of espresso to cut down on the milkiness (but I declined because I didn't want too much espresso at the time). The Kouign Amann had a nice sugary top and airy layers of pastry on the bottom. Wild Bean also serves smoothies, smoothie bowls and gelato and while I didn't try any of those items on my recent visit I will definitely be back to try them in the future.

Delicious!! I love the whole concept of shaking the espresso and pouring it into the cup like a martini. My favorite flavor is the caramel. Everything is made fresh, so your coffee or bowl might take a little extra time; be patient while they handcraft your masterpiece...you won't regret it! The staff is incredibly sweet, the location is great, cute inside, great music, indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. I also love that it's a family-owned business and that their Ethiopian coffee beans are freshly roasted locally. Def returning :-)

Sooooo happy bc we need more local coffee in Moco !! Coffee was 10/10 (I got the caramel shaken espresso). The pastries were mid. Excited to go back and try more! There was a bit of line, mostly due to recent viral TikToks, but not too crazy.

Been waiting for this place to open! I think I first went the opening weekend and the staff working there was so friendly. I like that they were chairs inside as well as the seating area outside. The pastries were pretty good. I try to get something different every time I go. Their coffee is absolutely delicious! I have yet to try a smoothie or an açai bowl but I'm excited to go back to try. What I love the most though is the location. Rockville was in desperate need of a coffee shop right off the pike that is easy to access. So happy they are finally open!

Bowled over by the great taste!

Overall high-vibe, nutritious tasty treats & down-able drinks kinda place! Cute, cozy corner cafe! Right on the Pike with ample, close-by parking, outdoor seating covered by bright green umbrellas, delicious drinks and oh-so-soothing smoothies and bowls. I like the music in here, too ... ! The Orange Americano is excellent, not to mention fun! It's pretty and tasty. Mmm! The baked Cheetos are tasty, too! The one thing I tried that I didn't like at all was the orange-coloured Sparkling Ice beverage that is peach-apricot flavoured -- totally bitter! (But ... that might have to do with what I'd had just before tasting it, because when I tried it later, it tasted SO much better!) Other than that one thing, I enjoyed and would recommend everything I got! ( Well, with one caveat -- the smoothie I got was sweet when it arrived, but it was so cold [I always forget that smoothies are often made with ice -- and that those who make it with ice say that's what a smoothie is and that that's how it's always made!], I waited 'til later to drink it and then it turned bitter, maybe not all the way through but at the bottom where the straw is, anyway, so ... it did taste bitter and I gulped it down so as not to waste it! I would say for most people this won't be an issue because most people in America apparently like cold drinks .... ) They did have an oatmeal bowl that was excellent -- super-tasty, way better than oatmeal at home usually is -- but unfortunately, not enough people were ordering it so that is gone now. I know it hasn't been open long so that will probably not affect most people since there aren't that many people who've tried it to even be able to miss it -- but I do! I had planned on ordering it and then it was no longer .... I don't suppose a whole lot of people will go in requesting it but if they do, then I do suppose it might come back, ha ha! However, the chia bowls are also excellent and not freezing cold like they are at so many places -- thank God and goodness! All the toppings you can get totally make up for the lack of boring oatmeal anyway, ha ha! You've got your choice of peanut butter, honey, or chocolate sauce drizzles, coconut flakes, almond slices, berries and bananas plus others -- lots of things! No paucity of selection here! Pretty to look at, great textures, and filling, too! It's everything you could want packed in a berry bright bowl! The place is everything you could want packed into a berry bright corner! I'd say it's a great idea to make your way over here and try it out! (I must say, I can't wait to go back myself!)

An absolutely phenomenal coffee shop in the Rockville area. The coffee is amazingly good, the prices are reasonable, the cafe itself is modern and clean, and the owners are incredibly friendly. They are also open until 8:00, making it a great place to get a bit of work done. Truly a hidden gem in the Rockville area. In a place loaded with coffee shops, Wild Bean Coffee stands out.

Happened upon this cafe a weekend morning and greatly enjoyed the service, coffee, and smoothie. Will be back!

    Iced caramel macchiato

Wild Bean Coffee was a really nice and fun experience! The customer service was great, very kind and informative -- they helped explain drinks to me that I was unfamiliar with. The coffee was super tasty and the atmosphere was light, calming, and fun, good place for studying or playing board games with friends. 10/10!

There's a good selection of pastries and I ended up choosing a coconut cream cheese option that was pretty good and flaky. I wanted to try the pistachio croissant but to be honest it looks incredibly unappetizing. I wish the presentation was different. I did have their London fog and it comes with sweetened honey. So good! Service was really good. It's essentially self serve but staff are quick on the orders.

You pick your pastries from the self-serve shelves. Some items looked like they had been sitting out for a while and were a little dry, while others had just been restocked and looked much fresher. Most of the selection leans toward buttery, laminated pastries, such as croissants, Danishes, and croffles rather than baguettes or rolls. They also have fresh cakes displayed near the counter. The two pastries we had were both good and satisfying. The pain aux raisins had a moist texture with a gentle sweetness. The croffle itself was nicely buttery and delicious, although the cream on top was a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and location. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee was only lukewarm, which was a letdown. Parking really depends on the time and day. We were lucky to find a spot right in front, but the plaza gets busy since there are several popular stores/restaurants, so it can be competitive if you're aiming to park close by. Overall, I'm happy to have another French-inspired Asian bakery option in Rockville.

Their seasonal lattes are…read moreoutstanding, and they always have a flavored latte that can be modified vegan with nondairy milk. Tatte has a lot of seating, however, they are so popular it often feels small when waiting in line to order. A few times I have visited I could not find a table and had to take my latte to go. If I visit outside their busier hours or I get lucky I have snagged a table and had the luxury of drinking my latte at a table inside. Despite how crowded it is inside I can always hear my friends and carry on conversation indoors easily. Occasionally it has been hard to hear when your order is ready so I definitely recommend checking in at the pickup area to make sure you get your latte while it is hot. So far my favorite latte is the Black Sesame Latte with nondairy milk. It is not too sweet, a little nutty, and so smooth. I especially love visiting Tatte in the fall for their version of a pumpkin spice latte. The syrup they use is dairy free which is challenging to find. I do wish Tatte had more vegan options, and more clearly labeled on the menu what can be modified to be vegan. Part of the reason I have not tried any of the food is because navigating the menu as a vegan is challenging. I hope they can make some changes so I can have breakfast or lunch with my latte in the future. For now I love visiting Tatte for a treat yo self moment. The lattes are my favorite in Rockville and a wonderful pick me up if I need to brighten my day.

I'll start on a positive note, because who doesn't like that?…read more Ambiance is 10/10, gorgeous, everything you want in a coffee shop. I love the high ceilings, layout, seating; it's giving French café with a twist. The desserts look phenomenal and their coffee/tea selection covers all the basics with a few extras (like pistachio, black sesame, and halva syrup), MEM tea blends, matcha, as well as a selection of coolers that sound absolutely divine using white peach/mint, strawberry/cardamom, and mango/ginger syrups. Who doesn't love a housemade syrup? I ordered the honey halva latte, raspberry meringue, pistachio cherry tart, and a plain butter tube (comes with 17 butter cookies). The butter cookies were perfect dipped in coffee, but almost everything else fell short. Looked divine, tasted so-so. The raspberry meringue might be one of the prettiest desserts I've seen but the filling left something to be desired. It had an odd aftertaste, while the pistachio tart barely had any kind of flavor. The coffee was, in a word, disappointing. The crumb cheesecake cup was tasty, but it felt like it was missing something. The woman who rang me up also wasn't friendly, which seemed a little odd considering that I'm a paying customer. Like she had an attitude for no reason. A simple "pick your coffee up over there" would suffice, considering that it was my first time and the barista was located on the other side of the establishment. Would I come back? If a friend wanted to go. Would I make it a point to? Probably not. My visit had good points but overall it just felt like something was missing.
