Speechless!!!!! I could be on here all day talking about how great and welcoming these guys are. It's 7:48am on a Tuesday the 12th and the ambiance is so sweet, the guys are very welcoming. They treat you like a human being. They treat like you're Gods favorite that's the best way I can put it! This isn't only today. I've been coming to this location for more than one year and it's always been a pleasure but the last couple of months have been heaven.

Great location

this is one of my favorite Starbucks for the ambience: very easy to grab a bench by the water and spend a few hours contemplating life, very nice people hang out at the Starbucks as well

I came here for my birthday drink. I Found parking right In front, and the service was fast. The cashier surprised me with a cake pop for my birthday. I love the music they were playing. I sat outside next to the pier to enjoy some sun. But I didn't like that other customers were smoking near by me, so I had to leave. I would definitely return here next time!

Wow. Usually Starbucks hires people who tend to have a nice personality. Not here. Every person I dealt with over the last three days had a massive chip on their shoulder. Drinks were done poorly and mobiles were ignored. Also if you want a glass of water - which by California state law they MUST provide if asked - you MUST go through the line even if you did a mobile order. No other Starbucks I go to is this pedantic but it seems Oakland has cup issues so they need to track every cup asked for. If I was coming in here and not purchasing anything and tried loading up on venti waters I could understand - but I shouldn't be given crap by a barista when I just spent $15 on a coffee and pastry. If the store manager or district manager read this - it's time for cleaning up. You know what you are doing by just letting this slide.

The service is incredibly unprofessional. This woman cussed me out after asking why their bathroom wasn't working. I then got kicked out because I asked for corporate's phone number. I told her that she needs to stop speaking to me unprofessionally and she got angry and proceeded to use cuss words at me and also refused to give me her name or any information. I will be following up with corporate this week.

Happy to have one near work. Staff members are so nice. Place is clean. View is great (marina in the back). Parking can be challenging though.

This is what they gave me for a Trenta Guava white tea. It taste like green tea with some sugar. Where the fck is the guava juice?
Khue M.

I don't know what the fck are they doing here, but I ordered a largest size guava white tea. This retard bish gave me 1 large size ice tea (very little ice) and a small cup of the leftover, I guess they run out of the Trenta size cup or something. What pissed me off is this shit taste like straight up green tea with some sugar in. Where the fck is the guava juice in there? Because I do not taste any citricy nor fruity taste at all. Wtf, are they taking at work? Are they fcking high or something.

Not only is this the slowest Starbucks around, they will give you a cup of grounds. Awful.

I came in around 8:30, a few tables outside had people drinking their coffees and eating breakfast. When I walked in, only one guy was waiting for his order. There was only one person working. The service was not good. I stood at the order counter for 5 minutes, I looked at the lady, she looked at me, and didn't offer a high I'll be right with you. I understand she was the only one preparing coffee and food. I'm not trying to complain about the wait, but the lack of acknowledging a customer to say it will take some time. I finally ordered an iced latte. I do think they have some creative drinks, but I know they are usually too sweet and I just opt for a plain iced latte instead. It was an ok latte, nothing amazing. They have a bulletin board for people to post their flyers or business cards. There was a card on the board that said A.W.A.R - All woke are retards. I'm sure that's not the view of the establishment. I do think they need to screen the board from time to time.

I cannot speak about the coffee/espresso drinks, because I do not drink coffee. Their food is exceptional! The pastries from tender, moist flavorful scones to cheesy biscuits, are fantastic. The savory food is so delicious. A lot of the items are things you have had before, but Julie's makes a far superior version of them. Their breakfast sandwich and grilled cheese with ham are the best examples of those sandwiches that I have ever had. It can take a little bit to get your food. You can either order in advance, if you're in a hurry, or enjoy a chat on the patio with a friend while you wait. It's totally worth it. Julie's is also a great member of the community. The owner, Shannon, donates food to many worthy causes, including Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter.

It's been so long that I forgot I wrote a review 5 years ago…read more I came back from NY a couple of weeks ago and then it hit me again - bagel cravings. I work super early in the morning so I rush to my Google Maps to see what's open. Huzzah! This place is open at 6am. I hop in my car and drive relatively fast (but safe) so I'm not late to work. Service is pretty friendly, I made the mistake of asking for two shots of espresso in my medium latte (2 shots is a medium, duh Lauryn), but they were pretty nice about it. My lox bagel was pretty fresh and delicious. Good amount of cream cheese and salmon, and the cucumbers and tomatoes didn't taste like they were sitting in the fridge. They were crisp! Since I was grabbing and going, can't speak too much on ambiance on the place. However if you work maybe a 9-5 and start your mornings early, this place was pretty empty for you to enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite.

This is a good spot for a coffee date, as well as just grabbing a coffee/breakfast to go, or while stocking up on groceries. There are a few indoor tables, and a couple of outdoor ones on the street. The Park St. bridge is just a hop away, so we'll often grab a coffee here to fuel up on our way out of town. Street parking is very difficult here, but the grocery does have its own lot in the back, albeit a cramped one. Give yourself extra time to park.
