I came back to this Starbucks inside NoHo West today in the early morning to get my wife her drink since I was going to be here to pickup a cake. Since I came in the early morning like close to when they just open, they were not busy and I just park in front of the place at the 10 minutes pick up parking spot. I placed my order through the app when I was in the car after parking, I got my wife her iced chai latte. The moment I walked inside, I saw the barista working on a drink so I just look at their food options. She then came to ask what I would like to order and I told her I already placed the mobile order I give her my name and she said that my drink was the one she just made. I happen to like this location. Plenty of outdoor seating with a great area for kids to play in. There is a shooting fountain during the summer months and the kids love it. Service here is good. One of the worst Starbucks experiences ever. I made a mobile order and there's no option to add an ice water (even tho I've seen it on other Starbucks menus as recent as last week). I picked up my mobile order and requested an ice water since I couldn't add it to my order through the app and the barista told me I'd have to wait in the line to order. What sense does that make when I ordered through mobile for a reason? You can't have both. Either figure out how to get the water option back on the menu (because You're lying that Starbucks as a whole took it off, I've SEEN it on other Starbucks menus so you are CHOOSING to not have it in order to be difficult.) One barista working. No other partner visible. I was not greeted/acknowledged. The barista went through a lost and found box for another guest and then started to make mobile order drinks without washing her hands. She would not take my order. So I left. I absolutely love coming to this Starbucks. I work nearby and not only is it convenient, the staff is also extremely friendly and hard working. I've never had an issue here and their common area is alway super clean, unlike other places I've been too, and no lock on the bathroom door. I did a mobile order for another location next to this location. So I went to that location but after waiting there for a bit I realized I somehow placed an order at the location with parking issues !! So went there but by the time I got there my drink which was Frappuccino was melted and I was gonna deal with it. But the barista was super nice and she offered to refill it for me. This quite possibly the best Starbucks I've been to. I don't know if it because it just opened or if Starbucks has changed something in its customers service, but everyone here is so freaking nice. They go above and beyond to help out. They are all welcoming and accommodating. I've had experiences where the baristas have rolled their eyes at me or given me attitude or just all round made me feel uncomfortable. But this location is the polar opposite. & they actually make the drinks right. Light ice actually means light ice. A cup of cream on the side actually means a cup of cream, not a sip. I really love this Starbucks and I'm so glad they opened up so close to where I live. read more
