Their menu features some really cool options, and their specialty drinks are clearly fan favorites. I couldn't decide between the coconut ube latte and the guava matcha latte, but I went with the latter and was thoroughly pleased! It had the perfect blend of tropical fruity flavor from the guava, and the matcha was spot on since it was smooth and not at all grassy. The staff was very pleasant, and my drink was prepared quickly yet with great care. I can't wait to go back soon and try some of their baked goods, which all looked divine!

They suggested the Hot Maple Syrup Latte, which was a seasonal item. I had never even tried maple syrup before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I ended up loving it! The flavor was subtle and perfectly balanced -- not too sweet and not too bland. I really hope they consider adding this one to the regular menu because I would definitely order it again. The cafe itself is small and cozy, and they have a separate meeting room where you can close the door and sit together. That was a big plus for us and makes it a great spot for a work or business meeting. Overall, we had a really nice first experience. Friendly service, a great latte, and a comfortable space to sit and have a meeting. We'll definitely be back!

I've never had traditional Yemeni drinks before, so I was excited to try something so beloved from another part of the world. I think someone who likes chai, fall spices, and coffee would enjoy this part of the menu. If you're less adventurous, they offer all of the standard coffee/espresso/matcha drinks. Their pastry selection is also stunning; I will likely be avoiding them due to my nut allergy, but the owner said that the fruit pastries are made specifically for this cafe, and all of the other pastries were taste-tested and intentionally selected to be part of the menu. The owner shared that he enjoyed the other locations of Moka & Co and felt that the area needed a place with new flavors and a comfortable space to gather with friends, especially at night when bars are the only alternative. Moka currently closes at 10PM or later, and when my friends didn't realize that the cafe had closed around us, the staff didn't rush us out, instead letting us finish our game for an extra thirty minutes. Throughout the night, we enjoyed friendly staff and fellow customers, the night air blew peacefully through the open french doors, and we basked in soft, warm lighting. One employee insisted that we sample one of their refreshers, so she brought over Vimto refreshers (grape, raspberry, and blackcurrant infused with select herbs and spices). They were fantastic - I would compare the taste to a cherry starburst. I look forward to spending more nights at this cafe with friends!

The space is large, has a lot of seating and seems to have a lot of potential but from what I've ordered I was not impressed. What I ordered: - Matcha Latte with mango syrup and a strawberry syrup - Mango Tres Leche dessert My matcha latte did not have much of a matcha taste. As you can see from the photo the color is not very concentrated and the drink was mainly just milk and some syrup. The syrups were not bad and did help the drink a little but overall I would say it'll not be a place I would stop back in for matcha. My friend got a Chai Latte and said the same thing as me, the drink mainly was milk and lacked chai flavoring. The desserts they have were very beautiful. Some of them had signs and others did not so we couldn't tell what they were and how much they cost. I know they are very newly open but it's confusing and the staff seem to not really know their menu yet and could not confidently answer questions.

What we ordered: - Strawberry Matcha Latte - Pandan Macaron We enjoyed both of our items. The service was interesting. I can't say that it's quite a negative or a positive. Since it was our first time there, we took some time to look at the menu and came with questions when we ordered. I saw that they have a matcha latte on the menu but nowhere did I see any specials or what syrups could be added to the matcha. Because of this, I asked the person checking us out if they had any syrups and if they could be added to the drinks. He listed off the syrups (vanilla, hazelnut, etc) and also included a "strawberry puree" in the list. So I considered that and said I would order it with the strawberry puree. The woman who was making the drinks beside him then said something along the lines of "so you're ordering a strawberry matcha latte". Like I was suppose to know that and order that way. I responded "yeah, I guess so but is that on the menu because I don't see it". Then she confirmed it's not on the menu. I didn't know if it would cost more or if it wasn't suppose to be included as a syrup or if she was training him. It was just an odd interaction rubbed me the wrong way though and left an uncomfortable feeling for me. We were going to enjoy our stuff there but after that we decided to take it to go. I'm not sure if I will return as it is not a local spot for us and we made a special visit out there to try it. My drink was good and the macaron was also yummy. I would recommend it regardless because their stuff is good and my interaction could just be a one off.

The service was good, there was only one worker and it look a bit for us to get our drinks because she was both making drinks and taking orders. What we ordered: - Hojicha tea - Mojito Lemonade We didn't love our drinks but we also didn't hate them. My Mojito Lemonade didn't have a lot flavors of any kind. Not in lemony, minty, sugary - which is all the things I think it when I think of a mojito or lemonade. My husband got the hojicha iced tea. We've only ever had other hojicha in a latte and asked if they made those but was told that they didn't. It was not bad by any means just different. I didn't know what to really expect but look forward to coming back to try other items but they do have a lot of offer.

It's completely okay for the pastries being outsourced but at the end of the day, it either tastes good or doesn't and unfortunately, for its a hidden cafe it was one disappointment after the next when it came to the food. Also, the cost of one shoprite apple turnovers from the cafe buys you the whole case at shoprite which is *actually* the same exact food. The breakfast sandwich was the most unflavorful and bland breakfast sandwich I've ever had, counting both outside and even at home. It was difficult to take a third or fourth bite of any of the food. The coffee also did not stand out to me in any way. Coming in very hungry, I was excited and while food typically tastes better when hungry, I just couldn't enjoy it. with this experience, I have to give the food a 2/5 If you're looking for a spot to hangout or get some work in, I'd say it's worth visiting.
