No wonder they are not too popular. When I first arrived, I asked to have the floor swept around my table because there was so much food on the ground. I heard the employees talking about it like it was something strange that had happened. But the manager came over and only swept around my table, but the whole place needed to be swept badly. After 2 hours, (on my computer) the floor still looked just like it did when I came in. Other than that, customers came in went, ordered their drinks, relaxed or chatted like usual. read more

At the time of this writing they are currently at 2.5 stars. That seems a little rough. I was in town for some training and this was my go-to spot for caffeine. It's nothing special in terms of the place itself. But they always got my drink correct and it was ready in a reasonable amount of time. There was always plenty of parking so I could get in and out quickly. I really don't have any complaints. If I get sent back, I'll hit this location up again. read more

The drinks have been losing their flavor over past year. Also, its bothersome and intrusive that unless we tend cash; we provide our debit/credit card to the barista who then swipes it and then hands us a pad informing us "it has a question for you"- we dont get that question with Cash- why do you do that to your patrons? read more

Service was fantastic here! It was in early in the AM, but everyone was so friendly and helpful. I wanted a pour-over done a certain way and Alicia (I think she may have been a manager) totally made me one of the best pour-overs I have ever had. Unfortunately, they don't carry the "Reserve" coffee anymore, or I would have bought one simply based on how sweet and accommodating everyone was. Thank you Alicia for your kindness, and doing your job so well! You TOTALLY made my morning! I will be back with the family again when it isn't on a work day! read more

Perhaps the only Starbucks in the valley that is right off the freeway. I love coming to this coffeeshop when I need to get away from the house to do homework or want to catch up with a friend while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. I've gone through the Drive Thru a few times and always enjoy quick and friendly service. Really like the app system that lets me make a purchase with one click. Always have clean restrooms, plenty of parking, and located in an area with plenty of food options. read more

Wasn't even planning on writing a review, but after checking in and seeing the negative reviews I was a bit surprised. I've been to this Starbucks multiple times and the service has always been friendly, and prompt. Have not had any issues, and the chicken sausage biscuit is very good. I would've posted a pic of it, but I ate it too quickly. I will admit I have disliked the times it gets extremely busy, but that's because I'm selfish and like a little more space to myself, but I'm not gonna fault a business for being good at what it does. And even when it's been busy, the service has still been good. read more

The staff is mostly new, as I am a frequent visitor and hardly recognize anyone these days. Stopped by a couple days ago (on a star dash) asked for a Carmel macchiato blended - I was given alk the reasons why that couldn't happen and was pushed into a frappacino. I was highly disappointed - it tasted like the syrup they use and not at all like a coffee beverage. I really wanted it to have a coffee flavor. I understand the concept of a macchiato with the shots floated, but the bottom line was I knew what I wanted my beverage to taste like and was talked out of it. Not to mention, I lost out on my stars, because it wasn't a macchiato - would have had 50 stars. Thought I would give them another try, and asked for a triple venti caramel macchiato with heavy whip on top. First they tried to give me an iced beverage - It wasn't what I ordered. The hot remake they sent me away with barely tasted like 2 shots, let alone 3 and had no whip on top, but was instead MADE WITH heavy cream. I drank it, because I had no coffee in the house and needed the energy to go grocery shopping. Don't know if I'm willing to go back for a 3rd disaster....... read more

I used to come here frequently because of the friendly staff. They would always greet me by name and would often start my order before I reached the counter (they had great memories). Sadly, though, not a single person remains. Not sure if they were all let go on the same day but the location hasn't been the same since. Far less friendly and personable. So here I am at the local Starbucks. To my amazement the place has multiple flies buzzing around the place. Sure I know it's summer and the keep the drive thru window open but ugg gross. Now onto my drink. A typical Carmel Frappuccino how can you mess that up? Ugg again. It tastes bitter like no Carmel was added to the mix only a squirt on top. Too bad because it's a standard. Usually enjoy coming here. Today I got my usual coffee but in a size bigger. I normally tell the baristas exactly how many pumps I want in my drink because for some reason diving by 2 is too hard when I ask for it half sweet. (Not just for Starbucks) This morning my coffee was wrong so I went back around the drive thru and got it remade. I felt bad because I didn't want to be "that person", but I like my coffee made right (as anyone would). The old gal at the window was AMAZING super friendly and over all just a really nice person. But the barista making my coffee was very confused, to the point where I made eye contact with her and told her exactly what I wanted... after she made it the awesome lady running the window gave me it and i was off. Once I was down the road I took a sip, and noticed I had the wrong drink AGAIN. I get some people enjoy what seems like a pound of sugar in their coffee, I personally do not. Please, if you don't understand ask because I would've just kept the wrong drink and saved both of our time if I knew I was going to get another wrong drink. Usually* this Starbucks is fantastic, not sure if today was just an off day, but I'm disappointed. read more

I've never walked out of a Starbucks, but I almost walked out of this one. There was only one person ahead of me in line and she and the cashier chatted for the longest time. Eventually the cashier disappeared into the back and the customer wandered away. I stood waiting to order without a greeting from anyone...then the customer came back and asked for the cashier again. Someone went to get her from the back, and they resumed their lengthy transaction which involved reading numbers off a cell phone. I finally ordered and the cashier tried to throw away my Gold Card because it had a zero balance and she thought I was "done with it". What barista doesn't recognize a Starbucks Gold Card? Quite some time later I received my coffee, but I had to raise my voice to get the attention of someone to give me the bread I ordered. Everything tasted fine, but the whole experience was very un-Starbucks like and it makes me wonder what's going with this location. read more

My husband and I got the worst service ever! We patiently waited over 20 minutes for our 2 coffees and after they served 3 orders before us I finally went up to see what was going on. The blonde making coffees wouldn't even give me eye contact when she told me "well I never got your order" and then rolled her eyes. Never going back. read more

We came here because I had a gift card I wanted to use up. I think the people working were not having a good Saturday, no smiles, no over the top hello's...very blah. The girl that took my money was nice but other than that it was kind of a sad environment. I ordered one of the breakfast sandwich's and man was it gross, no flavor. I know they have no control over the food but wow, it was bad. I think if I was part of the management team I'd try to have a say on what to serve and what not to serve to my customers. I won't be back, a lot of money for what we had and customer service was not the best. read more

I'm big into observing people's customer service skills. The baristas yesterday afternoon were very annoyed with us. I know that making 4 frapps isn't the funnest, but it was a special treat for my young daughters and I. They could at least smile a little. Anyway the frappuccinos were melty, more like flavored milk than a frozen drink. read more

Do not go through the drive thru here. It is arguably one of the SLOWEST Starbucks drive thrus that I have ever been to. The two times I have gone through this drive thru, I have ended up having to wait 15 minutes for my drink. 15 MINUTES!!!!! read more

It's hard to say anything bad about any Starbucks shop. But the friendly service and atmosphere of this particular location is worth noting. If you're familiar with the old show Cheers, you will understand when I say I like going somewhere where they know my name and my drink! It's on my way to work so I have a barista who knows me and I like that. And for some reason their espresso seems stronger to me. Whether or not that is actually true, this is a great Starbucks location! read more

Went into this place on a Saturday with my wife,we got 2 coffees and a sandwich. There were more employees than customers in this place, must not be that popular! Got us us our coffees up quick and forgot the sandwich, I waited a few minutes thinking they were maybe making it in the back or something. So then I asked an employee that I also ordered and a sandwich, and she looked confused didn't apologize went over to the microwave and threw it in there to warm it up and said it will be right up, like I was disturbing her. Another few minutes a different employee grabs it from the microwave and puts it in a small bag and literally threw it on the counter. Still no apology and they all went back to small talk, we finished and got the hell out there! I don't go to Starbucks that often, and rarely order food, and now I know why! Just a bad experience and drinks weren't that good anyway, won't be back. Now I know why all the Dutch Bros. are always busy and this place was a morgue! read more

I sat outside and enjoyed it. It was the perfect day to enjoy an iced coffee under the warm sun. Flying M downtown Boise should take come customer service pointers from this joint. It's night and day. I stopped going to the Flying M downtown because the customer service was so inconsistent. Some days they were so nice and then some days the baristas were so rude. I had such a great experience here. The venue is fun. The gentleman that helped me was so nice! My drink was on point! I'm happy I stopped in today. After several attempts to make me leave, police were called and stated the owner requested I leave which I did. No grace, no compassion! They banned me for a year!!! More recently, they asked me over five times to repeat my order, including in face-to-face conversation, and still got it completely wrong. It was my bad leaving the drive-thru before tasting it first, but I took for granted that after so much clarification, it would be right. I don't know what the solution is, short of a screen that shows the order on it as you're ordering, as they do at another shan't-be-named coffee chain. The coffee is great, when it is done right, and the walk-in area is super-clean and cheerful looking. But I might give it a month or two before I return, if nothing else to give them time for more training.
