I give this review with all due respect to the staff, because they are polite and clearly working their tails off. I had the misfortune of choosing this Starbucks as my pitstop off i40 heading back to WNC and before realizing how long the wait was--25 minutes!! The drive-thru line was backed up out of the parking lot and I grabbed the LAST (Literally) spot in the lot. Of the two bathrooms they have, one was out of commission for repairs. Again--no disrespect to the hardworking folks at this location. Just sharing this review for my fellow i40 road warriors: if you're craving Starbucks, save yourself some sanity and wait another 10 minutes in either direction for the next one. read more

I stopped at this Starbucks just off the interstate for a quick coffee on the road, and while the service was friendly and quick, and the building itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, I can't give more than 1 star for one major reason. Unfortunately, the drink I received had chunks floating in it--either the milk was off or something went seriously wrong when making it. Every time I come to this Starbucks, I know my VSCCB is going to be made just the way I like it, no matter how much time passes in between my visits. My mobile orders are always ready quick and I can walk in and out and go on about my day! Everyone is kind and honestly, it's my favorite also because it's never too loud inside. Put in a mobile order that should have been ready at 6:05. They were very busy and most seemed to be working. At 6:25 I finally asked them to check to see if they had my order. First they said they were busy then finally checked my name and said they had the order and it was ready. My experience here was certainty 5 stars. I didn't love this interior but the staff and cleanliness was excellent. The store felt very open and boxy. There were very long large tables. Lots of wood and metal in a way that did not feel inviting. I certainly prefer a cozy Starbucks that makes it easy to feel at home and work. I came here to get a snack and coffee. They have some cooler snacks and I chose a sammy and fruit plate. Both pretty affordable at around $6. I also ordered an almond milk latte. The barista (maybe something like "Brent or Brett- his name was smeared) was so inviting and happy. He helped me with my Starbucks card and got me on my way. read more

This is a spacious Starbucks right off the highway with a good sized parking lot and friendly staff. I was already getting off this exit and planned on looking for coffee and I didn't have to go far. I ordered a coffee in the app as I didn't want to be a jerk customizing my drink like a teen tik-tok star at the register. I had time to walk around the parking lot a bit, use the rest room and get my coffee and get back on the road. Even with mobile ordering before reaching the parking lot, we ended up waiting 25 minutes for our very basic drinks with 0 modifications. What really twisted the knife during this experience was watching the self-proclaimed store manager sit at the counter with his laptop watching the chaos unfold, and take who I presume to be a team lead off the floor to chat at the bar while the rest of their team scrambled to keep up. I considered walking out and taking the L multiple times, but I didn't want to waste $11 on that particular morning. I wanted coffee, but not that bad. Skip this Starbucks and stop somewhere local instead. You'll 100% get better service. If you see a packed parking lot as you roll in, just do a U-Turn. read more

It's another Starbucks and taste like another Starbucks. The only thing is the location is different and quite tough to get in and out. There's a McDonald's that is quite popular next door which has a long line that takes up the exit entrance. I've been to this location twice before. The first time, I was able to grab drinks before a long line built up behind me. The second time, they were closed for some sort of training. I was a bit disappointed but it is what it is. After about 3 times coming here. Ive given up. One time they forgot to put any syrup in my triple shot chestnut latte, it was just a regular latte, 7 dollars down the tube. They had a holiday sale, all these signs saying 30% holiday packaging and coffee, i came Back specifically for their thanksgiving, which was right under the holiday sign. They scanned the item and it wasn't discounted, i tried the xmas blend (never tried it) wasnt discounted, the cashier says "maybe the sale is over after christmas" this say was the 12/30 the whole freaking store has holiday sale signs all over. I work at the hospital right by this location and I always put my order in on the app while I'm otw to work and it takes me about 15 minutes to get to this location from my house so it gave them enough time to make the drinks and have it ready by the time I got there. And I am a pretty patient person, but I sat and waited for several minutes for them to get just one drink made and by this point, I'm already late for work and they still haven't even completed the rest of my order. The baristas are just taking their time and seem to have no sense of urgency so I ended up having to pay $7 dollars for a drink that I'm not even going to drink because I couldn't wait another 10 minutes for them to make my second drink when I'm already running late for work as it is. I understand that because of Covid, the demand on drive through service is high. I have come here twice and waited for an extended amount of time on both occasions. This time, I waited at the window for a solid 10 minutes hoping that those behind me knew it wasn't my fault. To the two cars that got out of line to drive away because the wait was so long, I agree! I would have done the same had I not been at the window. More training needs to be done at this location, and cleaning. There was crap all over the counters. read more
