We used to stay at a nearby BnB that has since closed and they told us about this place and near Morganton this is our favorite place to stay. Could it be better? For wine and view, NO WAY! Less than a 2 hour run from Charlotte and fire pits and covered seating make it the place to go year round. Relax, Leave the kids and Pets at home and just go relax. Place to romance the love in your life and music, games etc. I highly recommend this place and not far a drive to Morganton to catch lunch or Dinner or have charcuterie at Silver Fork. Just FYI they do not prepare it for you (Which I think is a little lame) but pick a meat, cheese, crackers and they will give you a loaner cutting board and Knife. Have fun and look at that view. If you go on the weekend, EXPECT it to be busy.

Beautiful spot with good wine selection! We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed the afternoon. Will be back for sure.

Very tasty wines & a beautiful location. Good selection & they have a few non-alcoholic drinks & beers for anyone in your group who doesn't like wine. Overflow parking lot has tons of space, but is a bit of an uphill walk, so if you have anyone with trouble walking drop them off before going to park. Inside has a few seats, but there are plenty of outside seats. We are looking forward to returning to Silver Fork next time we are in that area.

This is a great vineyard to come, relax, enjoy the view while tasting their excellent estate wines. The pictures say more than my words could ever convey. We drove an hour and a half, and it was worth the time invested to get there. Lots of comfortable seating. Shade provided for sunny days and the long range views are incredible.

Pleasantly surprised! We stopped an hour from home in Asheville, not knowing what to expect, and were delighted by what we discovered. Beautiful views, great music, perfect weather, good wine, and great service. We'll be stopping here again, for sure!

Awesome Friday evening view. This is how you end a busy work week!

Great visit to Morganton for Apple picking followed by a random stop at this lovely Vinyard. The view was amazing.

Amazing wines and views! We also loved the live music and that it was dog friendly! Every wine I tried was so good. My favorite was the Cabernet Franc.

Fantastic views!! Plenty of seating outside around the tasting room and also a cabana and a nice fire pit. We are not dry wine drinkers so we only had the Rose' but we liked it . Tasting area is kind of small so we sat under the huge shade trees. This will be a great come to place in fall with the leaves changing and even winter with the fireplace inside and fire pit outside.

Spectacular piedmont setting, overlooking green forest and to low mountains to the southeast. Highly recommend a bottle with available cheese and crackers, then sit out and enjoy life. Music during summer and fall Sunday afternoons. We recommend the cab franc. Fabulous.

Fantastic wine! Amazing views of the mountains. Quaint and cute! Came on a Wednesday around 4:00. Not empty but slow and relaxed.

What a GORGEOUS place. The minute you pull up you feel like you're somewhere else. The stunning views make you feel like you're almost in Italy. The tasting room is pretty big and had a variety of local cheeses and crackers to enjoy with wine. They also have a food truck and while we didn't get anything the food we saw coming out looked sooooooo delicious. Service was friendly and we enjoyed learning a bit about the local wine scene. You can't beat the views and we went on a perfect sunny day. It was a great experience!

The wines are among the best in the Blue Ridge Mountain area, plus the views are superb and exceeded only by the graciousness of the hosts.

Way over priced for what they have, and the owners are very unfriendly, especially the wife! I will never return here.

Scenery is the best. Wine is dry, not sweet. Winery staff is very friendly. Offers music in the summer.

We stopped by Perry's Berry's Winery after a hike this summer. There were people there enjoying…read morepicking of blueberries, but we were there for the wine! Here is what we had with our two wine flights: *Blueberry Reserve - this was only okay, my husband liked this one more than I did. *Muscadine - this was good, but being that NC exceeds in muscadine wines, we have just had better muscadine wines. Even with that said, we still enjoyed it. *Plum - very fruity, and very good. We both really enjoyed this one. *Peach - this was a nice peach wine. *Scuppernong - this was very good, really enjoyed the flavor. *Strawberry - this was only okay, the least favorite of the day. *Blackberry - this was only okay, wanted stronger blackberry flavor. *Creekside Crush Sangria - this was okay, we have had better "sangria" wines. We felt it was strong in the blueberry flavor, but I get where they are going with the additional fruity flavors in a red wine. Slushy of the day: *Peach Pina Colada - this was SO good! I would have never thought to combine peach and pina colada, but it worked! It was very refreshing on a hot summer day. Overall, we enjoyed our wine flights. We both agreed our top 3 were plum, scuppernong, and muscadine. We went home with a bottle of the plum. Other things to note: *They have four non-carbonated ciders, but they are not available for a flight. As we love ciders, we bought all four to try at home. We have only tried the peach mango so far - it has more mango than peach, but still really good flavor. We were both left wanting it to be carbonated like other traditional ciders we enjoy. It just seemed off, otherwise, it would have been up there with some of our favorite ciders. *They have a small bistro onsite. I was not expecting anything of it, but we split the chicken and spinach crepe, and it was wonderful! *They are dog friendly in certain areas, which we appreciated since we hike with our family canine! We definitely enjoyed our visit here, and it won't be our last. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Best of all was the beautiful setting. nestled among the berry bushes looking across the mountains made for a glorious day despite a little rain.

The tasting is free and when you buy a bottle of wine, the money is donated to charity. The tasting room doesn't have much in it. No chairs, no view, so it's pretty basic. If your looking for a winery with a comfortable relaxing wine tasting bar, this isn't it. There are no chairs at the tasting bar but there are buffet style round tables with s tv that had on CNN news. ( great atmosphere, huh?)The gentleman who served us was a person that really needed some coaxing to tell us about the wines. All the people who run the winery are volunteers and work in short shifts in the tasting room. There is history here but I'll review our time here. Good points about this place: 1. Wines very from dry to semi-sweet and a couple dessert wines. 2. Wines are decent. 3. Tastings are free. 4. Bottles are only $8. We bought s bottle and sat on the covered patio with very old uncomfortable plastic chairs. You know the ones that after a while became weather worn and can't be cleaned. Nothing really to look at except a very small Vineyard and there is a bocce ball court. I'm not sure if they do any tours of the building where they do the brewing but it is on sight. Their grapes are brought in from Northern NY. I gave it 4 stars because of free tastings and cheap cost of bottle.
