Located near Gate D32, this Starbucks is rockin' and poppin'. It's always busy when I'm here, but since my last trip, things are super organized and they work like a well oiled machine. Despite the long lines I was able to order and get my drink rather quickly (less than 10min). The line to order is all the way to the right and then you make a u turn and wait out front to pick up your order. If you are getting freshly brewed coffee, the cashier makes it right there and hands it to you. Specialty orders are made up front and you can watch the assembly line making food and drinks. Everyone was in good spirits and Lilian who I assume was the manager/team leader was on point! She was hustling and motivating her staff, quickly pushing out drink orders. Despite this she took the time to update people on the status of their order and even answer a question I had about my order. They had all the usual Starbucks decor and mugs and insulated cups for sale. Overall a pleasant experience on a busy travel day. Hats off to the MIA team! read more

This Starbucks is located on the baggage claim level of MIA and is situated between the Southwest and American baggage claim terminals. I landed in American and was meeting friends arriving on Southwest, so on my journey to their baggage claim area I stopped by to scoop me up something caffeinated after a tough day of travel. The Barista's were fine, not overly friendly, but also not rude. It is an airport location, so I was not expecting a standard Starbucks experience. I ordered a Mocha Frap and it came out as expected and decently quick. I was able to use my Starbucks app to pay and receive points. Not sure if they do not accept physical cards, but there was no issue with the app. There were a few tables available inside. All the furniture is a bit worn, so an update there would be nice. It was rainy this morning and turned into a humid day. I was at the airport looking for ice cream or frozen yogurt and waiting for my dad's arrival. I was told that the ice cream shoppe closed down. This came to mind, "Starbucks has Frappuccino". Well, Starbucks revamped their style... And I found out that Frappuccinos aren't their most popular drink anymore... However, they carry a healthier version made with matcha and green tea versus coffee and chocolate. They have four matcha green drinks. I opted for it in an iced latte. They make them with regular milk and charge extra for milk alternatives. I had this order made with soy milk. My dad liked it, but there was a gritty-ness to the matcha flavor. I thought the iced latte was good. It didn't smell weird. Although, I heard if you can scent the matcha that it's considered more potent. Not sure if that's a true statement, but matcha products do have a great health benefits. I like Starbucks... It's just isn't an ice cream replacement. read more

Starbucks works in a pinch. You know what to expect, and it's a solid option. This place was pretty good - the staff nice enough, but not overly nice. The area where you can hang out is quite crowded and they don't do a good job of using the space that they have. Additionally, I hate tall tables: they are so uncomfortable. And while you don't want people just hanging around, the small space is enough to scare them away - don't need to do it with the tables too. Overall it works, and the pumpkin spice latte was just what I needed before heading back to a place that doesn't have Starbucks at all. Worst Starbucks I've ever encountered. I could redeem my rewards here, however, it was a waste of my time. I asked for my chai iced three different times and they still made it hot! Not only that, they made me a latte instead of a chai. We also ordered an iced vanilla latte, but instead we got a cup with milk and a drop of coffee. For being the only person there and ordering such simple things, it should have been made properly the first time, not the third or fourth. I really dislike posting bad reviews but for the sake of customer service and spare other people's feelings. It is 5am I understand it's early but there is no need to be rude this early. I didn't want to get s flight this early and I'm sure the employees don't want to work this early as well but be courteous and have done respect for your customers! Anyways, I pass TSA and looked for a Starbucks as I was at the D terminal I had to walk to the E terminal which is a bit of a walk, but not to bad. No good morning, no smile. Emotionless facial expression. I asked for a breakfast sandwich, which they do not have, so I ordered a cranberry scone. Cold and hard and of course no warmer. I ordered two drinks, a Carmel brûlée and s Carmel macchiato. I had a reward to use and let the lady no before I scanned. Then I let her know again when I noticed it was not scammed. She said I had to let her know before hand, which I did. Then she brought the shift manager name over and she huffed and puffed. No introduction of herself and she told me yet again you have to let her know before you scan. Which then I said of course, I let her know but I apologize. Then there after she didn't even let us know the drinks were at the bar it was then I asked her for her name when she seemed concerned. I told her no issue, I just wanted to know and for her to have a good day. Then LOUDLY talked amongst her crew about me as I walked away. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Seriously. Things either have to be really good or terrible for me to take the time to review an airport Starbucks. This is the latter. I've been to this location exactly two times. Arriving, and departing. BOTH times they had no green tea made for iced green tea...once could be a fluke, but both times indicates a problem. Having to wait 5 or 10 minutes at an airport is extra frustrating. In addition, today they made my drink wrong, even though I called it twice. While waiting I watched employees bump into each other, which would explain why the line moved so slowly. Nobody on either side of the counter looked happy. Kindly get it together people. read more

You expect a certain amount of indifference when you are buying an early coffee on New Year's Day but....as a regular of Starbucks the attitude, service, lack of care by the two employees at about 10am does nothing for your brand image and experience. Also if you are going to sell bakery items like a butter croissant then install a standard warmer to deliver the standard taste experience that I get at all other Starbucks. I also do not expect to receive the croissant in the secondary plastic packaging. Conveniently located across from terminal D32. After walking through the D terminal what seems like a forever long walk, and finally when I get to my gate I see the Starbucks right across. I finally made up my mind and made my way over to get a drink. Customer service is the worst. The guy in front of me was not sure what kind of tea he wanted and the employee was trying to help but she was inpatient... The way she treated him- definitely not like other Starbucks. My turn to order - no hello just a rushed order to get you in and out fast. I paid and waited for my order. I noticed the guy making my drink (Iced Caramel Macchiato) and asked if they put caramel inside. He told me no only vanilla syrup. Some stores drizzle caramel on the inside around the cup, others do not. This location does not. Instead of the guy asking "Oh would you like me to add some for you?!" NOoo. He continued on as if I was bothering him. I asked if he could put a lot of the top (so he wouldn't have to remake it) - he drizzled some on top and called it a day. here's your $6 cup of milk and coffee. Starbucks at its finest. read more

The attitude started when the cashier called us forward to take our order. Nothing horrible (yet) but I'm not a fan of getting barked at early in the morning. I ordered a vanilla latte that tasted like burnt coffee grounds. When I asked to have it remade the Barista was extremely rude and gave me a lot of attitude saying I needed to stir the drink because the vanilla is on the bottom. What a horrible place! While waiting at the Miami airport for my flight I eagerly went to one of my favorite places-Starbucks. I asked for my usual green tea latte w an extra scoop of matcha. I was charged an extra .90 cents! I've been drinking this tea for years and never been charged extra. Secondly, I asked about the code on my receipt to play since it was missing; they don't participate in any games with Starbucks; thirdly, I asked and paid for a cranapple bran muffin but when I finally opened the bag on the plane to eat it, it was a very stale light muffin w nuts!! PASS THIS PLACE UP. I was on my way back home and decided to treat myself to a frap. I stop at this Starbucks bc it was right across from my terminal. Service was okay. I got the caramel ribbon crunch bc it was sopposed to have "extra" caramel and I asked for no whipped cream. When my drink came out it had whipped cream, ofcourse. I am so glad they opened this Starbucks here at the airport. Before, you couldn't find a decebt coffer around here. Now you can have any of starbucks coffee! My favorite is the caramenl Frapuccino.
