Matcha green tea iced latte for me
S Alicia S.

It was rainy this morning and turned into a humid day. I was at the airport looking for ice cream or frozen yogurt and waiting for my dad's arrival. I was told that the ice cream shoppe closed down. This came to mind, "Starbucks has Frappuccino". Well, Starbucks revamped their style... And I found out that Frappuccinos aren't their most popular drink anymore... However, they carry a healthier version made with matcha and green tea versus coffee and chocolate. They have four matcha green drinks. I opted for it in an iced latte. They make them with regular milk and charge extra for milk alternatives. I had this order made with soy milk. My dad liked it, but there was a gritty-ness to the matcha flavor. I thought the iced latte was good. It didn't smell weird. Although, I heard if you can scent the matcha that it's considered more potent. Not sure if that's a true statement, but matcha products do have a great health benefits. I like Starbucks... It's just isn't an ice cream replacement.

Street prices!!! Fast, friendly, convenient, just before I get on my 10 hour flight... who can say that's not a five-star experience!

This is an Starbucks on a food court at the airport so it really doesn't have all the amenities from all Starbucks out there.Besides that all good, drinks and service good.

Stale tale @ Starbucks

You expect a certain amount of indifference when you are buying an early coffee on New Year's Day but....as a regular of Starbucks the attitude, service, lack of care by the two employees at about 10am does nothing for your brand image and experience. Also if you are going to sell bakery items like a butter croissant then install a standard warmer to deliver the standard taste experience that I get at all other Starbucks. I also do not expect to receive the croissant in the secondary plastic packaging. Recruit individuals who embody and live your brand not someone who sees no difference between working at a Starbucks to a Burger King. Bad way to start the year.

:D

Multiple people mentioned how awesome this Cuban spot was, so I made it my mission to find one at…read morethe Miami airport while I waited for my flight to board. Oh my goodness I understand now!!! The food was incredible!!! This location was small but clean. A small wait to order at the counter and then wait for the food to come up. Located near a food court, there was plenty of seating around the corner. I decided to go with the Famous Cuban sandwich and am so glad I did. It was amazing. Warm, gooey cheese, flavorful sweet ham and pork. Mmmmmm. I wish I had one now. I also tried one the guava and cheese pastries which was also delicious. Highly recommend trying this place if you're at the airport.

I absolutely LOVE the empanadas at Café Versailles and I try to get some anytime I'm in MIA…read moreairport, since they have a few locations throughout this airport. When landing there recently, I was headed to the Centurion Lounge and passed a Café Versailles on the way, and since there were only a few people in line, I stopped in to grab a spinach and cheese empanada, which is one of my two favs from them. The staff needs to work on customer service and efficiency a little to improve that area of their business. They also need to assume that not everyone speaks Spanish (just because I'm "brown" doesn't mean I speak it, so don't initiate to me in the States). They were also too busy chatting with others who walked up and hugging, shaking hands, etc with them while wearing the same gloves they're using to serve food. I have no problem with people having a good time at work, but STOP this culture of putting a good time ahead of taking care of customers and guests, which is the ONLY reason they're there and what they're paid to do. As for the food - It was decent, but not the best I've had from them. The dough was slightly rubbery, where they normally make some of the BEST pastry dough and that's one of the best things about their empanadas. Would I return? Yes! But I just hope the next experience goes better.
