Do the 2 women working in the drive through at ~10:30am today know that customers can...hear them through the window when they are shit talking customers who placed a mobile order? 1. Apparently it is a no no to place a mobile order 1-2 minutes before driving up to the drive through speaker (so 1-2 minutes more notice than if I had simply placed the order at the drive through speaker......make it make sense), and they sure made that known to us by making snide comments at the window. 2. The only reason I place the mobile order instead of ordering at the drive through speaker is because this location cannot get a verbal drive through order correct, so I mobile order to make sure my customizations are correctly entered. 0/10 experience. read more

Starbucks' menu is ubiquitous, so all that matters is service. This location was quick & courteous. Took my order with welcome & helpful suggestions, plus clear verification. I was surprised at how pleasant the interaction was. They were training someone at the drive thru window & the person taking the orders caught a mistake before it happened! Absolutely awful and bizarre service from the woman working front of store today at this location. Anytime she is working I swear it's always the same -- the service is extremely slow, she doesn't want to work there, and people are waiting 30+ minutes LIKE ME for a grande iced matcha latte with almond milk and a protein box which literally already comes ready to go. She's the chubbier woman that works there I don't know her name (if anyone knows who she is please let me know and I'll update the review accordingly). I come to this store almost every day and at this point I know all the employees that work here and some are definitely better than others; and honestly today was my last straw with them (no pun intended). I placed an order for pickup coming to Doral from downtown Miami at 11:02 am and the app indicates it should be ready in 6-9 minutes. I arrived at 11:25am and none of it was ready to go. She had the audacity to tell me that the "guy" in charge of making the mobile pickup orders decided to leave (I'm assuming because it's Juneteenth and these Gen Zers/millennials complain about everything) and I'm just like OK why is that my problem? You're working NOW aren't you? Why aren't you helping your other coworker and making drinks? There's a reason Starbucks has the option for mobile ordering??? She offered to give me a refund and I was upset I'm like absolutely not. I ended up grabbing the protein box myself and told her all I'm missing is the matcha latte which is literally just milk and powder and ice mixed together I almost went behind the counter myself to make it. Then she got nervous and quickly moved her butt to make it. I'm going to make it a purposeful point to AVOID coming to this location if she is working because she is truly awful and should have no business working in this industry if she refuses to do the work. Then they have the audacity to ask for tips/ask for even more raised wages. For what???? I'm basically doing your job for you!!! Don't offer mobile ordering if you won't fulfill your end of the bargain at this location! Inept people. I hope Starbucks upper management takes a look at this review and seriously considers making some changes because the other clientele waiting on their drinks (another woman next to me waiting for an iced matcha as well) were waiting around the same (20-30 minutes) for freaking coffee. this is my favorite Starbucks location! Everyone is so nice and efficient. Special mention to Sara! she was really sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. She even recommended a sauce we had never tried that was really good. I just left and another gentleman took care of us and was very sweet as well!
