This Starbucks in Miami is a good spot to get work done if you're in the area. I was looking for a place to wait out traffic near Tropical Park and my partner found this spot. Situated in busy plaza at the intersection of two busy roads, it is a bit hard to come into here because of all the traffic you might run into, even just walking to the Starbucks or going into the drive-thru but not too bad. There is parking all around since it's in a plaza. The inside was pretty busy at the time that I went and clean enough for having been that busy. I had no issues finding a spot to work from and ordering was easy enough. The bathrooms here do require a code and the code actually didn't work for the women's bathroom when I went and was advised by a customer (that seemed to be a regular) that I'd have to use the mens bathroom. Came to this location this morning to sit in the cafe and work and I was blown away by the friendly service. Not just to the customers, but the baristas were so friendly and kind and respectful to each other, you could really sense they took pride and ownership in their work. I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance, but every time I go, I regret it. The drinks are always terrible--either watered down, burnt, or just plain wrong. The service here is pretty good, I've never encountered any issues on any of my visits here. The coffee and food items are pretty standard across all Starbucks locations, so you know what you're going to get. In terms of the ambiance, it really depends on the time of day you visit. There are a few schools nearby, so once those schools let out around 2 p.m. it can get a bit full and loud in there. It's just kids being kids and them having a good time; if you're trying to work or study it can be a bit of a distraction so I'd say if you need a quiet location to work consider going earlier in the day or later in the evening. read more

This location is very accessible since it's off two busy streets and in a busy plaza with a Publix. The catch however is that it tends be full inside, like all the time. My study group and I used to have our group meetings here (pre-pandemic) and it was convenient because it was spacious inside and had space for like 5-6 of us, with access to outlets and of course, coffee, baked goods & teas! The staff was nice and most of the other patrons in the shop were also studying or meeting others. The drive-thru moves steadily but if it got too long, it would cut into the section of the parking lot that's near an entrance and that would cause some traffic and drivers may have a strong choice of words exchanged lol. read more

This Starbucks location is the nearest one to my home so I usually come here to study. However, I only visit if it's early in the morning or later in the evenings because it does tend to get very crowded during the afternoon. There are about three school close by and at 2pm-5pm there's no way anyone can study or work during that time. Many students come to this location and are extremely loud which makes it impossible to be able to concentrate on any assignments or get work done. As for the coffee and treats, I have never had a complaint about it. All the baristas at this location are very kind. I have always noticed that the staff do a great job coming around and cleaning up the tables and debris on the floor. read more

A nice location with a large room with lots of tables to sit at. However, the staff weren't friendly at all when we went in on a Tuesday evening for dessert. They even have us the wrong item. My order took for ever!! The people behind the counter were working at a furious pace to take care of the drive thru and I guess the face to face customer just had to wait! Shame on management here. Did a mobile order for three Venti Starbucks Blonde Doubleshots and was quoted with an eta of 8-10 mins. When I arrived, the drive through had about 7 cars in the line and going in was just as worse.. I approached the counter at the 10 minute mark only to find out that they hadn't even started my order.. YIKES! The barista who was ringing people up told the other one making drinks to expedite my order and although he tried, the order was the furthest thing from being expedited. In fact, I waited an additional 10 minutes for my order bring me to exactly 20 mins.. You do the math.. But I don't think I have waited this long before especially on a mobile order... This might be a common thing amongst Starbucks locations in Miami because the other locations I went to weren't too far behind this one on offering late drinks.. Lately, I have been having trouble studying for exams. At home, I have the temptation to watch television and at work, I am just so stressed beyond belief that I feel like yanking my hair out. However, when I step into this Starbucks, I am instantly relaxed by their jazz music-- that I now declare this my official study/ get-work-done spot! There is an island when you come in towards the left where you plug in your laptop and type away. Their menu also contains diverse prices, so you can always order something within your budget. I must also admit that I am impressed by their baked good section because it is the most appealing and well-stocked one I have ever seen. The staff here is also outstanding-- friendly to help you pick out exactly what you want. Made a quick drive-thru stop at this Starbucks while in need of a caffeine boost. I rarely drink coffee in the evening, but it was way too early for me to be feeling this sleepy. While I thought this service would be quick, it may have actually taken 20-25 minutes to get through this drive-thru. That's simply too long. We ordered a grande hot coffee medium roast which was made with their signature Pike Place blend. It tasted so complex and amazing.. I kept sipping on it and couldn't put it down. Definitely recommend. On a lower note, we had asked for creamer on the side, but received regular milk instead. Didn't realize this until we drove away. It was quite annoying to find this out later. Other than that, no complaints about our drive-thru server who was courteous and accommodating. However, I'm also not sure if he's the reason why service was so slow in the first place. As far as Starbucks go, this is one stacks up pretty well as a study spot. Compared to other Starbucks in the area, this location has ample seating (about 50 seats inside, and plenty of outdoor seating as well), good lighting (one of the main reasons I ended up here and not at another dimly-lit Starbucks in the area), and ISN'T freezing cold inside. The free Wi-Fi can be spotty and the parking situation is a little odd but because of the plentiful breathing room, I've found this location to be a good study spot. read more

I stopped by this Starbucks to grab a cup of coffee on the way to my mom's house for some family time. I think it is really convenient that this location has a drive thru, but I just prefer to go inside and order at the counter. I was pleasantly surprised that the lady in front of me was deaf and the girl at the register taking her order was signing with her to take her order. It's great to see companies like this take initiative to make sure that they are able to help customers of all types and make them feel comfortable and welcome. So I think I can refer to myself as a Starbucks frequenter. I decided to swing by this morning to grab an iced white mocha (my regular order at Starbucks) before heading to work. I love it both iced and hot, but since we are in Miami and way too hot I often order it iced. I love that this drink is sweet without having to add any extra sugar. However, today I was extremely disappointed. I'm not really sure what they did to my iced white mocha, but it did not taste like what I normally ordered. They must've only out milk and coffee because it honestly tasted terrible. I didn't have time to turn around and go back to have them remake my order because I had to make it to work. As much as I wanted to drink my coffee because I paid for it and wanted it to help me get through my day I couldn't drink more than 1/4 of it because of the terrible taste. Also, forget attempting to use the drive thru line at this location. I swear I think it takes longer to go through the line than to park and get down to order your drink. I come to this starbucks frequently because it's nearby my house and has a drive thru and a lot of seats inside. As of lately however, the employees seem to get worse at this location. I'm not sure if the hiring manager has changed or whoever is training employees is doing a terrible job (if they even train them).
