I've come to this Coral Gables staple many times over the years and this day I needed a quick pick-me-up in between meetings in the area. The drive-in line was active but there was plenty of parking which is what I preferred so I could hang out inside for a little while until my next meeting. The baristas were friendly and helpful and I got my order quickly. I ordered a basic coffee and delicious chocolate covered almonds. Really difficult parking lot to get into or out of due to the drive-through passing right through the parking lot. Fortunately they had a police officer on duty directing traffic, which helped. We still had to wait a few minutes for cars to move though so we could get out of the lot. The service was OK, though the wait was a bit long probably because of a busy drive-through. read more

This Starbucks location is conveniently located for me since it's just a simple hop, jump, and a skip away from my job. I usually try to come here early for a cold brew because they seem to run out by mid afternoon. The service here is pretty consist and the employees are nice. This location is a hot spot off US1 in Coral Gables. One down fall to that is where it's located the parking is small and tight and the drive thru usually back flows into US1. read more

I thought I did a review for this Starbucks but I guess did not. I've been taking advantage of their drive thru option recently as it's so convenient. Starbucks is another weakness of mine because it's so darn tasty. I've been inside there before a few years ago and it's a nice,peasant, and clean. It's on the smaller side but its in a good location near UM and Merrick Park. This review is more so for the drive thru experience. They don't leave you waiting for a long time even if there is a long line of cars. They seem to be organized and efficient. I wanted to review their new Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. I lived off of Starbucks while in high school and was obsessed with the Java Chip Frappuccino so when I recently stopped inside the Starbucks in the Target store on Ponce in Coral Gables and learned of this new speciality drink I inquired about it with one of the attendants and I was sold so I told myself the next time I have a Frappuccino I was getting the new one. I really am a sucker for sweets and this one didn't disappoint. I have to be honest and say I didn't taste much of a difference between the Java Chip and this one, but it was worth a try. Apparently they put whipped cream on the bottom and top of it and then cookie crumbles throughout. It was a perfect treat for a hot sunny summer Miami day. I will add this to my Starbucks repertoire of White Chocolate Mocha, Iced Passion Tea, and The Java Chip Frap (along with those irresistible Cake Pops)...yum..:) So I definitely recommend this location. It's quick and efficient and the attendants are always friendly so tip accordingly! read more

I'll give this Starbucks 3 stars because the drive thru is always on point. For some reason the inside not so much. I've noticed this occurrence in busy Starbucks. The inside suffers while the drive thru is awesome. This Starbucks runs out of cold brew often. Also to get someone's attention in the inside of the Starbucks is difficult. The customer service is also lacking. I also got egg bites here and there was something hard in the egg bites. Looked white freaked me out. So I've never gotten them again. If you come here come drive thru that way you'll get the best out of this location. read more

This Starbucks location has as good quality coffee and food as any other Starbucks. The staff is nice and the service is efficient.

Despite having a drive-thru and decent parking, this Starbucks is relatively small. The interior's placement of chairs and tables makes me think of an L shape, but oh well. That aside, the friendly and attentive staff here will make you want to come back. I do not remember the last time I entered a Starbucks where I was welcomed with so much pep and cheer. It definitely made me feel as if I were celebrating the holidays, and mind you, I know I am writing this on St. Patrick's Day and all, but I went to this particular location four days ago! When I went this past Monday, my friend and I were greeted and attended to quickly. Two coffees (mine being a white chocolate mocha) and a sandwich and chocolate croissant later, we were satisfied. (At the drive thru) they gave me 2 "danishes" as it broke when they where putting it in the bag. When I got to the office my surprise...they gave me 2 lemon cakes, no danishes and my refresher had lemonade. First time at this location. I passed by and decided to take a break of my long day while I enjoy their promotion. Today and until tomorrow they have buy one get one free macchiatos. I had babysat my nieces (6 & 9) overnight so when I asked that morning what they wanted for breakfast, imagine my surprise & delight when the said Starbucks! #Samisies, girls! You read my mind. Placed a delivery order thru Postmates which included my go to's (Iced Sugar-free Vanilla Soy Latte, Double Espresso Shots & the Spinach, Tomato Feta Wrap) and for them, a bagel each with cream cheese & 1 Pink Drink & a Violet Drink. How tacky - I keep thinking - to review a STARBUCKS? But technically speaking, out of all the Starbucks in Miami (and that's alot) this is my favorite. Not only because it is convenient for me on my way to school from work cruising down US1, but because it is drive-thru! There aren't too many of those, as far as I know, only a handful on US1. This is the newest Starbucks addition and I am definitely glad they did it. There aren't any really on this side of US1 and definitely nearly none when you get to Downtown and Au Bon Pain's are everywhere. And sometimes you just need a Starbucks coffee made exactly the way you want it in order to get through your day. I'm looking forward to trying the Pumpkin Spice Latte once I find the time to treat myself to a highly overpriced $4 latte that is sometimes definitely worth it. read more

This is probably my favorite Starbucks in the area, they have drive thru and it's location near where I work, I stop by there Monday-Friday every morning. Everyone is awesome in the store, friendly, kind and very easy to talk with except one lady that is in drive thru window this morning and last Friday morning; she doesn't talk to you AT ALL!!!! even when you say good morning or thank you, always with an angry face that makes me feel I owe her something....... idk what happened to her, but with her attitude, she seriously ruined my morning. read more

This is by far the worst drive-thru Starbucks I've ever been to. I've tested them several times both drive-thru and by mobile pick up and somehow they always mess up the order. I don't know how their able to mess up a mobile preset but they have many times. Ok, the drive-through is the ONLY reason I visit these Starbucks pretty frequently. I can't resist a drive-through. However, the parking lot is HORRENDOUS. Since it's right off Dixie, the cars get backed up into the highway, people honk and get pissed - and people parked in the lot can't get out. Horrible, horrible Starbucks. In another life, I worked for Starbucks--and I can tell you that absolutely NOTHING I have seen at this location is up to par. Employees routinely close the shop early. I have now been turned away TWICE--before the closing time posted on their doors. I have also been mocked through when ordering on numerous occasions, which is unsettling. I usually go after 8PM, so I'm thinking that I keep running in to the same horrible crew? Either way, its unacceptable. Quite a shame, as this is the closest drive-thru location to University of Miami...trust me though, just go to the one by Moon Thai. Two words make this Starbucks top of the list for me...drive thru!!!! They recently redid the drive through area so the flow is a bit better, but at busy hours like first thing in the morning or lunch time there's definitely a wait. They always get my order right here. On the rare occasion I grab breakfast I always ask for no egg on my sandwich and they get it right every time. I'd say bring your patient pants as this location is on us1 south and getting out of the parking lot can be tricky with traffic. read more

I absolutely love the fact that this Starbucks has a drive thru! Ordering and pickup is usually pretty quick. Most complain of the long line of cars waiting to order, but the line goes by pretty fast. Try not to go during morning or early evening rush hour since the long line of cars waiting for their orders may cause more traffic jams on US1. The line sometimes goes out to US1 and paralyzes the right lane. read more

The friendliest Starbucks in Miami by far! The staff are actually pretty funny, willing to joke around with customers and make your visit a little brighter. Contrastingly, the parking situation is a bloody nightmare. The line from the drive thru completely blocks anyone who is trying to pull out of the parking lot. It's a real pain. Great Starbucks! The store itself is small-ish, but the bulk of people that visit this store are in and out in a hurry, so it's never really tough to find a table (unlike the Starbucks across the street from UM, where you've sometimes got to fight for a spot to sit indoors). The staff is all VERY friendly and attentive. My favorite feature is the drive-thru. I know it's not revolutionary or anything, but it's the closest drive-thru coffee place in the area, and on days where it's pouring outside (or, more often than not, those days where I'm studying in sweatpants and am too lazy to change out of them!), it's nice to have this option available. This Starbucks is a little bit more inconvenient to get to from my house than the Starbucks across from UM, but I usually prefer making the extra drive because there's always an easy way to get my coffee (whether it's drive thru or a spot outside) and my drinks are always made perfectly! The only reason I didn't give this a five star rating is because they are NO LONGER A 24 HOUR LOCATION. I say that in all caps to emphasize - this is a fairly recent change (the beginning of August I believe) and I know a lot of people are unaware of this fact! read more
