Nestled in the Miami Springs area so much that I didn't know that this place existed but I'm glad I know now. Recommended by a friend of mine since my daughter's class wanted Cuban food for their Christmas lunch and I was aiming to please...! Bakery - It's small but the ladies behind the counter have it all under control and the line to order is very organized. While you wait, you can see all the assorted pastries and sweets to be had; so once you get your turn to order, you may want to restrain yourself from ordering it all. The downfall but no biggie - 1) They accept credit cards but it has to be a $5 min. charge; and if you're anything like me, I don't carry cash around and depend on my credit card to make a .50 cent purchase 2) When ordering coffee - let's say a cortadito, they serve you the milk but you have to prepare it yourself - put amount of coffee desired, sugar, etc.; which again, if you're like me that prefers for someone else to make it, then, it's kinda of ehh...! Staff - Incredibly helpful, professional, friendly and a great disposition towards their clients. Pastries - Good but would had preferred a bit more flaky and more of the sweetness that Cuban pasties tend to have but they sufficed the craving. Ordered: *Shredded grilled chicken & pork - Both of these tasted like a Cuban grandma had taken the time to cook them. They were incredibly flavorful, well seasoned, moist and cooked to perfection. *White Rice - Absolutely delicious to the last grain. All the food ordered tasted fresh outta the over and into the kids' classroom...it was that fresh and full of oh so goodness..! All parents and kids had seconds/thirds because it was that plentiful too...Bon Appétit...!

I have to update my review because I just passed by yesterday & walked out empty handed. I needed 50 party sized croquetas. I stood inside for a good minute until I realized no one heard me come in, so fine, I called out, no big deal. Then a lady comes out of the kitchen wiping her face with paper towels all sweaty & acting like she's super exhausted. I asked her for the croquetas & she grabbed a box out of the freezer. Told me something about them being frozen as if any other day they're fresher. I said I didn't care, I honestly just needed something to feed my guests. But then I notice she's grabbing them & tossing them in the deep fryer one by one with her nasty hands! Shocked, I kindly asked her if she had washed her hands. Her response? She had been washing dishes up to this point so they're obviously clean. Uhmmm NOPE! Washing dishes does not equal clean hands! She rolled her eyes at me when I pointed out that she had been wiping her face when I came in, she mumbled something under her breath, walked away & I heard her turn on the water. At that point, I was out the door. No, thank you!

On my first visit there, we ordered two pan con bistec sandwiches (steak) with everything on it and while we waited we tried out their cheese croquette and baked beef emphanada. They have two versions of emphanadas, which are, baked or fried. The cheese croquette was like a fried mozzarella stick just in croquette form, lol. The beef emphanada was moist and delicious and the dough that they used for the baked emphanada was soft. I did not try out their coffee as I had already placed an order for some elsewhere. A friend of mine told me that her sister loves their sandwiches. They have a good selection of sliced cakes, pies and traditional latin pastries. Inside is small/cozy with bar stools and bar height counters at the window for patrons eating inside. They also have a few tables with chairs for outdoor seating in front of the bakery shop window. At the time of my visit they had two gorgeous peach colored roses in vases on the counter. It was a very quaint little bakery.

Used to be a nice little gem in miami springs. It has since changed owners and has a constant change in employees. I recently went in and asked for bunuelos. Which is a Latin fried dough with a curve like an 8. Instead was served 2 raw in the inside circled meat patties. Ugh unacceptable. They have very few selections of pastries at least at the time I went. Their flan is pretty good and do recommend it. They have a nice peaceful seating outside with nature and ducks if you don't mind. Problem with this place I wouldn't say it's the employees but rather lacking proper management. I hope they do get it together soon .

    Empanada de carne

If I could give no stars I would!!! This morning I went to eat one of the empanadas I bought from them and to my surprise as I was taking a bite there was a piece of wire, when I called to let them know they just said thank you and disregarded the Matter. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

This place is great! It is a local bakery here in springs! They have never disappointed me with any of their pastries, empanadas, cafe con leche, or their sweets! Their croquetas are super yummy too! The staff is really sweet and patient when taking your order! It's a small place but they have a good amount of seating both outside and some inside. I highly recommend if you are in the area!

When it comes to Bakeries there's no finer spot in Miami Springs then Bella's!! From the friendly (bilingual) staff who's always upbeat and spunky no matter how early u stroll in to the Cuban crack coffee known as "Colada" this place has it all... Very clean the pastries display case can be overwhelming at first due to all the different varieties but everything is labeled and well organized.... So if your in the Miami Springs area and are looking for a quality bakery then stop by Bella's!! I guarantee you won't be disappointed ;) -Gabriel "Sweet Potato" Grullon

Best spot in Miami Springs for morning Cuban coffee and pastelitos! Friendly staff. Sit outside in the shade.

One of the very best bakeries that Ive been too. The owner is always there providing the best customer care, the pastelitos & sandwiches always warm or made to order. My personal faves are the ham & cheese crossiants and the guava pastelitos. They also sell homemade dishes & pork, along with traditional cuban sandwiches (pan con bistec, croqueta preparada, pan con lechon.) Everything is so delicious & affordable. I love it!

Excellent bakery! The pastries are delicious. They have fresh orange juice, coffee, soft serve ice cream and more. The Orange Danish rolls and the Flan are amazing, sandwiches too! Open Mon-Fri 6am-6pm, Sat 6am-3pm and Sun 7am-2pm.

It's 100% their bread. I wish the other franchises could mimic this because I don't live near this location and I have to stop by here when I'm around. Their assortments of baked goods is very impressive. I always get an empanada or pastalito* I didn't read any of the reviews for this place but I don't know why this place would have less than 4*! We got two coffee cake cinnamon rolls, one Neapolitan, and one Cuban coffee for around $7. You really don't see that nowadays. Now, the reason for the 3 stars... I wasn't really a fan of the pastries themselves. The coffee cake cinnamon rolls looked so amazing, but were overly soaked with a sappy sugar. The Neapolitan was a bit boring for me. A friend also bought the guava and cheese pastry because he was told "it's the best dessert you'll ever had" by a buddy of his. We were all quite underwhelmed, it was quite dry and didn't even taste any guava flavors. Everyone's palette is different, so not to say you wouldn't enjoy this place, but it wasn't a place I'd consider returning to unfortunately.

The Cortaditos will be a taste I chase till the next time I make it to a Cuban coffee spot, it was a perfect energy after eating enough for an elephant. Our coffee for the road was very pleasant to sip on as we finished desert and ended the evening. I even had half of mine left I put in the hotel mini fridge to drink as a pick me up before out early morning flight and it was so much better than any other coffee I could have sourced that morning.
