I'm really disappointed. Starbucks closes at 10:30 pm. I walked in at 10 pm while it seemingly looked close, so I asked "are you guys closed?" A woman annoyingly asked, "how many drinks" I told her just 1 and she said fine. I ordered a hot chocolate with chestnut flavoring. And when I got it, it honestly tasted weird. I didn't even finish it. Just now I went to dump out the remaining liquid to throw away the cup, and IT WAS PURE MILK. No hot chocolate, just the milk with chestnut flavoring. This is not cool man. I didn't mind the shitty attitude but to not even make the hot chocolate when you had 30 whole minutes until closing. I wish I got her name cuz she sucked. read more

Wanted to try the vanilla nitro cold brew but they were out. Got a grande white mocha instead. Get home to see almost two inches from the top is what they gave me. I did have a bad experience once with an older gal there at the cash register and I'm glad that I did not write this review then! I wont get into details but it was related to pathetic customer service, water under the bridge now, let's go the the 4 stars that I'm talking about. I think that I may be highly influenced on the pond seating area outside shared by other restaurants, the place rocks! Great ambiance. This Starbucks can be very busy too, I've seen it many times with no seating available, typically in the mornings, but that's what happens, build it and they shall come! I went in here 30 minutes before closing with my elderly father. He asked the barista if he could use the restroom after he ordered and she said it was already cleaned and closed so no he couldn't. Mind you, he was using a walker and walks very slow. She told him he could go to chipotle instead. Last time I checked, customer service isn't about you getting your restroom clean and telling people during open hours that they can't use it. How rude and inconsiderate. I let her know he has a bladder condition. She did let him use it after that which I appreciate. However if you have a senior with mobility issues please don't tell them to walk to another store when your store has a restroom, but you decided to clean it before you closed the doors because that is not how it works. Visited this Starbucks while my girlfriend and I were on vacation. They made our drinks perfectly. They asked us what kind of drinks they were and we said it was a NorCal thing. Ordered the green tea frap with raspberry sauce on top and bottom and a peppermint java chip. Could not complain how well the drinks came out. Line was fairly long on a Sunday morning. Must try? I usually avoid this location at all costs but sometimes it's just convenient to order for mobile pickup and pickup on my way out of Menifee. I won't even attempt the drive thru it's insane and extremely slow. Their employees need better training as well. The other day I ordered 2 items for mobile pickup and my husband went to pick it up for me. A Frappuccino and an oatmeal. They had my oatmeal up front with a sticker with my name on it but it didn't say my Frappuccino or my oatmeal on the sticker. If said "cold reusable cup" which I didn't order. My husband tried to explain it to the employee but her English wasn't as good, which isn't a big deal, but she was getting frustrated and mad at him telling him she can't go off the order off the app he was showing her that showed my order, their location, and the time from 5 mins earlier when it was made. She said she can only go off of what prints out of her machine. Well the sticker she had that was supposedly my order was an ordered made by somebody named Jennifer at 6:30AM. I ordered my stuff at 7:56AM. So clearly she had a sticker from almost an hour and a half earlier. How she didn't catch that is beyond me. She tried to refund my husband $7 for a reusable cup, not the $9.80 I paid for a Frappuccino and an oatmeal. I have never seen something like that at a Starbucks. Worst Starbucks EVER! Should have used the Starbucks inside of the nearby Target. First off, the heavy set older woman at the cashier was downright AWFUL! Personality of a wet mop! No smile, no greeting, NOTHING. She was about as warm as a cold dead fish! The "Barista" a young blonde haired girl was about as intelligent as a bad of rocks! I had a very easy order of a hot coffee with room for cream. Well, my coffee was barely luke warm. So I when I nicely told her that the coffee was not hot, she then said "well, what would you like me to do??" Seriously!! First it was rude! Second it was just a stupid remark. Serve Hot coffee that's all! She then goes on to say they can brew a new pot, but it would be 5 minutes. Okay, no problem! But she was still nasty and just flat out bitchy! The store was very busy, but honestly if you don't like customers then get a different job! It's no excuse to give lousy service. I have never been to any Starbucks ANYWHERE that has such poor staff! I just don't get it. My daughters will pay $5 for a drink that has about 25 cents worth of product to make in it. Having a little bit of a mild background in coffee, the Starbucks bean is bitter and harsh. Take a bean and with the cracked end upwards, push down on the bean with your thumb , if it crumbles in fairly whole pieces its a fresh bean. If its grainy and brittle , well not so much. Its also a blend of beans from different parts of the world. Ever wonder why you have such bad heartburn? This location is almost impossible to get to, parking is horrible at the Menifee Market Place Center. Save your money and buy a pound of good coffee beans ,grind it and make it at home. You will get 20 times the value! The only great thing about this Starbucks is a Wingstop has just opened next door. read more

I love coffee I walked in & purchased coffee grounds for a gift... then asked for a cup of water. Wrong choice on the cup of water. I was waiting I thought after 5 min, I would ask if someone can just give me a cup of water since I was done and not have to wait. (To me, it was simple get a cup put ice add water, im done & happy I'm able to get her out quickly. She said no, you will get us out of sequence I had to wait ???? So the BARISTA was very busy and two others are just fiddling around. So I went again after another 5 min and said, can I please ask a question? Why do I have to wait for a cup of water when I'm done? So they got upset and the older lady gave me a cup of water and the younger cashier said sarcastically have a good day. Since this is a miniature location I would not recommend hanging out or eating at the actual establishment. Since I nearly get everything to go anyhow because I have a small home-based business, the small location doesn't bother me. Also, the parking is limited and horrific, so don't even bother going past 8:30AM or so unless you have lots of patience. Be warned, this place is hopping! This was my FIRST visit to this location and my first time using the Starbucks app for Android (which was a breeze to use). Before leaving my doctor appointment across the street this morning, I chose the items I wanted, customized some of them, selected my payment options (all of which I set up the night before) and voila. I showed up less than 10 minutes later and everything was waiting for me at the front counter with my name on a label on the bag. There wasn't whipped cream in my Iced Mocha (because I ordered it with soy and they had no clue if I was allergic), but the barista promptly added the whipped cream for me and said "Be sure to count all your items and make sure you have 6," which was thoughtful. Everything was exactly as ordered: 1 Grande Iced Mocha w/Soy and Light Ice; 1 Bkfst Sandwich w/ Egg and Cheese; 1 Blueberry Muffin; 1 Whole Grain bagel; 1 Everything Bagel with Cheese, and 1 Apple Fritter. Everything was excellent. Even my mom said to me "This is a real bagel, thanks." I like easy ordering before I arrive at a food place, getting my order quickly, and getting back home to work. This location opens 4:30 am M-F and 5:00 am on weekends, so that is a huge incentive for me because I start my days early. Thanks, Starbucks, for a problem-free experience, which I cannot say is the same for other similar establishments nearby. My only gripe is that in order to use the mobile app, I have to add a minimum of $25 at a time to my Starbucks Card and a lower amount would be nice! It's a Starbucks, pretty much like all the others! The staff here is usually pretty good, though there are some that are better than others. As with other Starbucks, the music can get a little loud and there tends to be a good deal of noise from the coffee making process, but if you are ok with that, this is a good place to hang out for a bit to drink your coffee while you mess around on your computer or read your news paper. read more

I've been here several times and never once have I had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and our orders are always right! I love the Starbucks App so I don't ever have to use my card. Our children love it too. My youngest Daughter (11) uses it often on her own when we go into Target so it's so easy to use a child can. Our oldest Daughter comes here before school everyday with no complaints on how to use App. Another thing we like about this location is their charging stations. They're NEVER staffed during peak hours in the morning and over staffed at night when it's dead. Three people. One on bar, one on register, one on food. Line to the door. After waiting ten minutes while Alex on register has a long conversation with everyone while the line is not moving, I walked out. I am so tired of the horrible service. In Vista, on my way to work everyday, they always have 4-5 on during peak, in Corona off Ontario they have 6-7 on ( they have s drive thru). The lines at these other two stores fly. This was probably the worse coffee I have ever had. Neither my boyfriend or I could take two sips before he asked me to please say something. I politely asked if we could get fresh cups. They did say they'd brew more, and while not as bitter (old tasting) as the first cup, it was really strong for Starbucks fresh brewed Pike. I barely drank half of mine, both of us having to stop because there were grinds in this "fresh" pot. I understand how they had just three stars, but for me that was generous. The young man taking orders was nice enough, but nobody greeted anyone walking in and the two guys making drinks were just chatting about "this dude" and "some little kid" who picked an fallen ice cream scoop off the floor.
