I went in today, March 16, 2024 and I was asking a lady if there was any like limited edition specials clearly already knew that there was one because it is the St. Patrick's Day one with the Lucky charms ice cream and she said to me that they don't have any limited addition type of things Such as that so then I asked for a strawberry blonde small and then I noticed that she does have such things (green cones) but I was just curious you see after we went to the register I tipped her $10 out of 10.00 dollars and then I think she said something disrespectful to me (possibly swearing under breath; usually I get offended when someone doesn't doesn't like my tip even though I do 100% or even 200% at times) after I leftbut overall the ice cream was good .. -- Another note I observed she failed to give napkins; not a big deal since I grabbed some as I assume it's an option - I will say this however in their defense, I came in "overly" excited and super energized for ice cream. I was too friendly. -- I reconsidered what I said above: I realize that it matters when you show up at this place. Some employees are nice and actually friendly; things are always gonna be different. Interesting enough to give better points to this place, Subway is next door; Subway has a 5 dollar foot long color you can meld together with some ice cream. I go to cold stone when my family and I are craving sweets! The past couple times, I've noticed that the workers there save the scraps of ice cream for themselves if they make too much. This time, I was welcomed by some new faces by an older man and lady. I think the lady was new as I noticed she was asking the guy questions when I asked for a substitution on my cheesecake fantasy. While she was making an order, the older gentleman jumped right in and finished the rest of my order. I did not even notice until I got home that they gave me the extra ice cream! But really, ZERO stars. This was the worst experience ever. You walked in and the store just felt depressing. Not to mention, Taylor was so disrespectful and had such an unpleasant attitude. We were greeted by her blank stare and a 'what do you want'. I was so thrown off by her depressed vibes she was giving off. I get if you are unhappy but don't bring it to work with you and kill your customers spirits. They were out of the Barbie Shake but Taylor was so "kind" (not) to offer an alternative or anything else Barbie related (we had just seen two customers ahead of us who had ordered and received a pink shake). We give our order and as we stood there, she is making us feel uncomfortable while she's degrading her coworker for having long hair which apparently is why he can not hear her. She then yells at him to make our 2nd order as if that solved the not hearing problem. It was just an unpleasant experience and I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Poor Christian was just trying to finish our 2nd order but it was very sloppily made that it started melting everywhere and made a huge mess. We paid and left the store and threw our ice cream out. I did not notice a manager overseeing the place but I'm sure it wouldn't have mattered and they would have not made anything any better. Avoid this location if are in a good mood at all costs. Cold Stone is already overpriced ice cream so I would assume they would do a better job selecting who works there. Please hire people with good energy and who are charismatic and get rid of the 'Taylor's' who are rude and condescending to coworkers. Eleeza is absolutely amazing! We come to this location not only for the amazing ice cream but because of the personalized customer service and kindness of those who work there. Everyone is so great and I've never ever had a less than excellent experience at this Coldstone. Honestly, I have 2 locations that are closer to me in distance but I make this drive all because of the care and thoughtfulness that is put into our experience and our ice cream. Eleeza is always exceptional, above and beyond, and now we are even calling her part of the family! I'm the "red velvet mix in lover" and she always takes great care of me and my family. Tasty cold ice creamy creations. This location is next to a Starbucks in the Stater Bros shopping center on Winchester Rd in French Valley. Great service and friendly staff makes this location stand out from the rest. A personal favorite of mine has to be the Mud Pie Mojo. Do it Like it. read more

We've been to this cold stone several times now, and are always pleased with the service and the quality of the ice cream, the shakes, and the cakes. The bummer at this location is that it's just so small. If it's a busy night, there's no way to stay and enjoy your ice cream treat, so you better be willing to bag it up and take it home. They have some seating along the back wall, but that's the same place that the line has to form. If you are lucky enough to get a seat, you're sharing your conversation with everyone in line. A bigger location would be a good call. read more

Ordered a custom cake for my sons birthday that was supposed to have cookie dough in it, but was vanilla. I paid extra to change the flavor of the ice cream, but didn't notice it was not correct until we cut the cake later that night. Called the following day and was told that the owner had to be contacted and I would get a call back. After 2 days I still didn't get a call back and I called again but this time the owner was there. He claimed that my cake was cookie dough and basically called me a liar. I wasn't asking for a new cake or a refund just simply the amount I paid to change the flavor.
