Variety.
Mark T.

Grabbed coffee here recently and it was a fantastic experience. The location was extremely clean and had a fresh airy vibe. The staff were very upbeat, friendly and polite, and the order was correct --they were very efficient. There is plenty of parking around the building, and it has a ton of indoor seating. There is also some seating outdoors, and they had a terrific variety of the typical Starbucks fare.

Second floor fireplace. Notice high ceilings.

A Starbucks that is spacious, has two floors, a fireplace and is relatively quiet?! I never thought a place like this would exist! Located in its own building at a strip mall, this location has plenty of parking, great service and always a seat for you and friends. The high ceilings make it more acoustic friendly than other locations which are crowded, small and somewhat cramped. This is a great place to do work, catch up with friends or just relax by the fire with a nice cup of coffee or tea.

The service here has always been great, they always get my order right and the coffee has never disappointed. There is seating on a second floor and an entrance in the front and back of the building. They only thing I can fault them on here is that the trash needs to be emptied more frequently from the receptacles where you put your milk and sugar in...they tend to be almost always at the point of overflowing. That said, I think this is the best Starbucks in the area.

This is not a tall hot chocolate. I order with whipped cream and chocolate curls and got nothing but thisss .... ughhh
Jania L.

Worst Starbucks ever!!! I order a tall hot chocolate online with whipped cream and chocolate on top. I got a half tall hot chocolate with nothing on top. Never ever gonna order anything from this anymore... I will post the picture later so everyone can see it my poor order. Very very disappointed

I got the savory pie that was stuffed with an unctuous gumbo filling made with creole spices, the holy trinity (onions, peppers, and celery), and a generous portion of chicken. The pie pastry had a perfect flaky crumb that held the filling together. A friend had their breakfast sandwich, which had a rustic and delightful tang from the inclusion of sourdough in the biscuit batter that paired well with the thick slab of egg and crispy bacon. Incredibly savory items. I'm always gravitated towards how well a cafe can do a savory menu and this exceed my expectations. Friends I came in with who got their coffee said that it was very delicious, and the baristas can make a beautiful frothy and rich matcha latte. Its both parts technical skills to pull coffee or whisk matcha and sourcing of high-quality ingredients. Drinks make up a large part of any cafe, so to do it well here in this neighborhood cafe is exceptional. The baristas are running that place like a tight ship! Tip well!

Their biscuit sandwiches are good for the biscuits, if at the high side of what they should cost when compared to nearby competitors. Their coffee and teas are oddly so so, again it's a really rough coffee market in DC and this place maybe only struggled some because of the interest of the staff or their overall menu, haven't been enough to figure it out. I would likely swing by if I had to, but would avoid most of their drinks and probably focus on something small. They have fun designs for merch.

I stopped in for a…read moremid-morning weekday breakfast and ordered the veggie egg scramble with toast and potatoes, alongside an oat milk vanilla latte. While a scramble sounds simple on paper, it is easy to overcook the vegetables. This one was executed perfectly, with every vegetable done just right. The thin-sliced potatoes were highly seasoned and stood out, moving away from the standard, heavy breakfast spuds you get at most places. The presentation across the board was excellent. The latte arrived with a nice touch--a small side cookie and a club soda to cleanse the palate, which shows a level of intentionality you don't always find. The staff members were incredibly friendly and gracious from start to finish. With fast Wi-Fi and a comfortable environment, it is an ideal spot to get some quality laptop time. It's a great addition to the local lineup.

We were told we could sit at the bar or outside, but when we asked for one of the open tables, we were denied because they were "reserved for parties of three." That just doesn't make sense. We're still paying customers, ready to order food and drinks. Denying service like that--especially with empty tables in plain sight--feels unnecessary and rigid. I even asked twice, hoping for a little flexibility, but the answer didn't change. I work in the service industry, and this is exactly the kind of situation where you make an exception or use some common sense. Instead, it felt like policy over hospitality. Really disappointing experience for a place I was excited to try.

We visited around the same time as the Westover Farmers Market, so the inside was a bit packed. At one point, we noticed the line going nearly outside the door--although it is a small location, so at least it moved relatively quickly. My order came fairly quick for the amount of people. However, my friend's order had a longer wait time despite being the same drink with only the milk substituted. We eventually asked the staff if the order was still coming through--they were very sweet, apologized for the wait, and quickly prepared the order. Unsure if maybe the order got lost in the shuffle, or perhaps someone else accidentally grabbed it, but it was nice that they quickly resolved the issue once it became known to them. The drink was okay, which I was fine with because the main appeal was supposed to be the Halloween-themed design. I realized too late that my drink didn't come with the chocolate syrup drizzled on top that others' did, which was unfortunate. The cafe was beautifully decorated, and it's clear that there was a lot of thought and heart put into the design. The shop was also nice to check out, with a great collection of items with a nice mission and message behind each product. However, it is a bit tight to go through the aisles when it is busy. I hope to visit again during a less crowded time to check out other seasonal treats they may have in the future!

The interior has a great vibe; kids (and likely plenty of adults) love making the origami cranes that decorate the room. My daughter and her friends always head straight for the traditional seating area with the pillows on the floor, though there are plenty of regular tables if you prefer the standard setup. On the menu, the Beef Banh Mi is a standout. It's easily the best you'll find in this part of town without making the trek out to the Eden Center. The meat is juicy, the roll is excellent, and they offer it with or without an egg. The secret stars of the menu, however, are the basil fries. They are excellent and come with a fantastic house-made dipping sauce that pulls it all together. While my daughter is the boba fan of the duo, I stick to the coffee and smoothies. Just be cautious with the Vietnamese coffee--if you aren't a seasoned veteran, that caffeine kick will have your heart racing for hours. The staff is consistently fast, friendly, and efficient. It's a local neighborhood staple that we'll keep coming back to. My only complaint is that they are not a coffee shop for early AM!

It has become the definitive home base for several of my local groups, and for good reason. The "No Agenda - Just Coffee" Crowd Since October 2025, this has been the quarterly meeting point for a group I help organize (2 entire meetings so far!). We bring together a mix of IT-centric CxOs, startup founders, innovators, govtech, thought leaders, and industry insiders. The beauty of the space is that it handles the "no structure, no rules" vibe perfectly. We show up, grab pastries, and just hang out. It's a low-key break from the grind, and the staff handles the morning rush with impressive efficiency. The Sunday Morning Tactical Post-Game Every Sunday at 6:30am, Northside serves as the rally point for our F3 The Capital workout group. We split up--ruckers head one way, runners another--and we all converge back at the shop by 7:30am. There is nothing quite like hitting the patio after a solid session for coffee, tea, and a high-quality breakfast. The Menu and My Personal "Hack" I've been significantly more health-conscious this year, so I generally keep the order lean. My go-to is a standard drip or an Americano with exactly one pump of vanilla. If you are looking for a meal, the avocado toast and poached egg sandwiches are objectively excellent. However, if you want the best thing on the menu, order the cheddar chive scone and ask them to heat it in the oven. It is a game-changer. The Vibe It has a genuine neighborhood feel. You'll see a broad spectrum of people--from tech folks on laptops to workout groups and families. It even transitions into a great bar scene in the evenings. It's consistent, high-quality, and remains my top recommendation in Falls Church.
