The Matteson Starbucks is impeccably clean. The staff members are very engaging and polite. I always get a large iced coffee and it is great. The Store Manager, Chris, has empowered and trained his staff well. I can tell his expectations for great service and great food and a great atmosphere are key. My daughter and I popped in to "The Bucks" (As I like to call them:) for an after church refreshing sip! I decided to go inside as the drive thru is usually popping aka very busy. I didn't utilize the app to place my order. I wanted to just walk in, take my time and look at things. And I did. I ordered a grande Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade. My baby girl ordered a grande Caramel Crunch.....uhhh or whaEva, Lol. They are always quick in making drinks, and we didn't wait long. Awesome location with drive through off I-57 on Route 30 and Cicero. They have plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating areas. My only warning is check the drive through line before getting into this line because you cannot get out due to curbs. The drive through goes around and behind this strip mall...if it is backed up in front, you are better off going inside! read more

What a challenging experience. This store should not even bother opening if most customer experience are like ours. SLOW, and I mean extremely slow service. As if there isn't a care in the world, except to walk back-and-forth and not make one trip from a cash register to somewhere else efficient. I'm not exaggerating when I say we waited in the drive up line for over 15 minutes. I actually dozed off and had to wake up to move forward. I ordered my coffee to be ground. They said pull ahead, they charged me, and I waited again. Then they said I'm so sorry but we don't have that coffee in stock. Would you like something else. I had to get my money refunded because I did not want what they had as an alternative and drove to Starbucks in Frankfort. My card got charged, then the casually looked for my coffee beans to grind them. And I waited again only to then be informed that they did not have the coffee I purchased. I don't know who's running this place, but they certainly don't worry about customer service, accuracy, or speed. To their credit, the young ladies were polite. Maybe Starbucks can figure out how to train people who work at the store to be clear about what customers want and move faster than a snails pace. read more

The Starbucks location in Matteson Illinois customer service is terrible. I placed my order online, was told to go to the pick window when order is r Ready. This is what it said on there site. I went to the window to get my order like there online site stated. I was meet will a very nasty attitude, telling me next time I needed to stop back at there ordering place before coming to the window‍ ok ! I tried to explain to her that it was my first time using the drive thru,she just annoyed me and closed the window in my face.ok ! The time of day and year dictates how good or not so good service and beverages are at this particular location. On my recent visit, I was quite please with Eli who took my order to a "T" and it tasted just as grande. I don't care for frequenting here in the summer months because somehow, the bees make their way inside and hover around the syrup station, so trying to sip and read with them is a buzz kill. I ordered a breakfast sandwich through the mobile app one time and it wasn't placed by the beverage and absentmindedly walked off without it; never got that sandwich; sure wish I had it this morning though. Wouldn't recommend this location for studying either. Other than that, give it a go, and if you're lucky, you will encounter Eli who will deliver service and your drink with a warm smile. read more

Came here yesterday out of the Caramel Brûlée came back today still out lady working behind the counter said the delivery comes in Wednesday okay understandable order 3 drinks everything is fine until I asked for a drink carrier they are all out ok that's fine then ask for the little green plugs that doesn't allow your hot drink to spill guess what they are out of that as well. Pretty fast and baristas are super friendly. They read my order wrong, which I can we being it was very early in the morning but the barista caught herself when reading the order, apologized and redid it. I've had it when other baristas read the order and when I get to work, I take a sip and baaamm it's not what I ordered. Overall pretty clean and I can taste that in my hot chocolate because sometimes you can taste when they don't wash their rags. I will be back to this location. read more

I decided to stop at Starbucks to try the new Maple pecan flavored drink. I got a tall just in case I didn't like it. I got it in Frappuccino. It does not taste like pecan but it does taste a lot like Maple which is good. It actually tastes a lot like their horchata flavored drink . They took a lot longer than I expected it to in the drive thru but my Barista was nice and quick about payment. Though, he didn't ask me if I wanted a receipt. I often frequent this Starbucks, but their parking lot is always full and it's tight. There drive-thru loops around behind the building so if you get trapped you have to drive through the drive through in order to get out of the lot. read more

This Starbucks isn't good. The drinks are hit or miss due to the barista lack of ability to listen and prepare the orders as requested. The cost of the drinks are too pricey for these type of mistakes. Even the remakes are not right. The service should be about quality not quantity.
