Firstly, I wanted to mention how the baristas here greet me so kindly no matter what time of day it is! I make a pit stop almost everyday before work and for some reason this Starbucks always starts me off on the right foot. I recently had a drink mix up where I was charged for the wrong size and wasn't sure how I should go about it. I called the store as soon as I realized I was charged incorrectly and without any attitude or inconvenienced *sigh* I was assured that I would be taken care of during my next visit. There was only one person in front of me. Or so I thought. Then we rounded the corner and there were two more... Waiting. We were there for 25 minutes for a to go order. How do I know? Ok this is honestly the worst Starbucks I've been to. The drive through line always takes Forever! Even before Covid, I avoided this location at all costs. One time I sat in line for 30 mins to get my coffee. .. and there was only like 5 cars ahead of me. I've gone through other Starbucks lines with the same amount of cars and been in and out in 10 mins or so. Today, I stopped here on my way to pick up my kids, and of course.. Parking is horrendous so I picked the drive thru. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes and then my drink wasn't even ready! Simplest drink too, green iced tea (no syrup, no water, light ice). The girl didn't even apologize for the wait and had kept interrupting when I ordered. wanted an iced white mocha and specifically asked for 5 pumps of white mocha and it tastes like the they took a scoop of black coffee out some milk in it and called it a day with coffee dripping all off the side. my friends ordered the same drink, asked for almond milk and got regular milk AND THEY ARE LACTOSE INTOLERANT. this is absolutely unacceptable. do BETTER. read more

**Great News!** Starbucks is finally incorporating La Boulage into their bakery items beginning this coming week (Jan 28th). They will begin to serve a wide variety of healthy breakfast sandwiches, flavored croissants (ham & cheddar, spinach, etc), as well as a variety of super good mini loaf-sized coffee cakes. My preference is their low fat cranberry coffee cake. They have an oven now and can warm up everything, including something as simple and sweet as a chocolate chip cookie. La Boulage is a San Francisco based bakery that began their service to Starbucks in Summer 2013. I lived in the Bat Area, where it first began so I have been waiting for this awesome transition. San Joaquin County is the last County to adopt the new bakery items, according to the District Manager that I spoke with last week. And not a moment too soon! Do check it out because the expanded food items and pastries are delicious! This particular location has a really tight parking lot. It's awkward, and can get backed up very easily. Last time I was here, I parked and went inside for my drink. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and made my drink perfectly. The store was well stocked and presentable with various forms of coffee, coffee makers, supplies, coffee mugs and more. It's likely the neatest store I've been in. I go to a Starbucks every single day, so that says a lot. Unfortunately, when I reached my car I realized I was blocked in. The drive-thru goes right through the parking lot where other businesses also reside. Because the drive thru line is in the middle of the parking lot, anyone that is parked in the parking lot is blocked in if the line gets too long. This occurs pretty much every morning, which is why most people choose to park on the other side, walk inside and then leave. If you sit in line at the drive thru, you will likely be there for a while. I've visited only a few times and my order was incorrect both times. First, they made my drink warm instead of iced. The second time, I got an iced vanilla latte instead. Be aware of the parking issue, and of the peak hours of the day. Most of the time, you won't have an issue. But, should you choose to park there during peak hours, you will be waiting for a very long time before you get to leave! read more

When I first moved here, I couldn't get over the fact that this place is 24 hours AND has a drive through!!! the drive through line is very quick (even during commuter times) and their coffee is amazing as usual. There are some Starbucks locations that don't tend on making my coffee/tea right, however, this location is pretty on point with my coffee ( and yes, I'm one of those people who are super picky with a long ass drink order. Ask anyone, I'm a major Starbucks addict. Almost to the point I'll let stuff slide. Not tonight. Waited almost 10 min from order kiosk to window, only two cars ahead of us. Found out why when we got up there. Crew having too much fun yelling at each other and laughing. Barista at window overcharged for drink then looked at us weird when we asked for receipt, which is usually offered but not tonight. Didn't ask for refund because it would have held up line longer. Once before, we waited 1/2 as long and were given our drinks by the manager who apologized for the long wait. Guess customer service has changed at this location, for the worst. read more

Employees are at times like kids in a play ground! I understand that a work place should be enjoyable but they get too carried away at times. This Starbucks is ALWAYS busy but they somehow manage to move the drive-thru fairly quickly! I've always been helped by a courteous barista and never had any complaints on the way my drinks or food were prepared. The parking lot is chaotic and I personally would never park in their actual parking lot for fear of never being able to back out due to the never-ending drive thru line blocking the lot. My advice is to park as close to Jamba as possible or neighboring stores, or join me in drive thru as I inadvertently block some poor sap in the parking lot. read more

I have visited ALL the other stores in Manteca/Lathrop area and they NEVER get my Frapp correct but the store on Hulsey Way gets it right EVERY single time!! The crew at this store is the best!! They are always happy and greet you with a smile. They enjoy their jobs and it shows in the quality of their drinks and attitudes!!!Best senses of humor too! T.B. is lucky the Starbucks I frequent on the way to work are lack luster, poor service, and badly brewed coffee. Ceres, Livingston and Atwater are miserable locations staffed by equally miserable folks. Avoid them like the plague. This one my worse experience in a Starbucks. The barista that took my order and the one that made my drink were fine. The condition of the eating areas, both in and outside was unacceptable. Not one table was clean. Another employee was chatting with the other employees who were diligently working, was so loud I went outside after attempting to find a quiet space.
