This location used to be an old bank. I like that they left the vault door and opened that area up. It had one big table in there and they made a window to see the menu. There is plenty of other seating in the main area. The service was a little spotty. The place only had 2 customers in there but I was left waiting for a few minutes. There was a guy at the window and a young girl who saw me but just kept mopping. When a young man finally came from the back he was really nice. I ordered a Carmel frap and some cake pops for my boys. The Carmel frap was delicious and my boys said their cake pops were yummy. read more

Walking in, the aroma smells as though I just walked into my grandmas house (she's a cat lady). The girls who were working were just about the same as any other barista, clearly not wanting to work taking it out on youthe girl who made my drinks did a good job, they were made somewhat good (I've seen more effort into my beverages before) appearance is always everything when I get my drinks but this time was definitely a solid 4/10. The coffee here seems to be inconsistent, so I've switched to chai tea because it comes in a mix - they usually don't screw it up. Inconsistent would describe the service, too - you are at the whim of whom you get, so the spread goes from "Absolutely Awesome and Friendly" all the way to "Completely Indifferent and Rude". 3 stars instead of 2 though, because 1) ambiance is kinda cool, it's an old bank building so there is a vault in there and cool historical local photos; and 2) they have a drive thru! and a dog-friendly patio - so basically they occasionally get a drink order out of me each time I take the doggos for pup cups. read more

Visited this Starbucks yesterday, went thru the drive thru. For one it took forever. Im not sure if they need to cap the amount of drink orders one car can order but we waited in the drive Thru for almost 15 mins. Then when we finally got to the window the drink was wrong we informed them the drink was wrong and the girl said oh, do you want a new drink. If we had already not waited so long in the drive thru we may have waited but with two kids in the car we opted out to take the incorrect drink. Not happy to pay for an incorrect drink. This is unfortunately the only Starbucks around so I'd like to say I won't return but that is unlikely. For everyone ordering way too many drinks in the drive thru- just go inside the store and do it. And to Starbucks you need a cap on the amount of drinks one car can order or make drinks faster I'm not sure the answer read more

Hard to give Starbucks a high rating, but this location was great! Staff was super friendly and the location was really clean. We were pretty much the only people not using the drive through and I think the staff enjoyed that a bit. Nice outdoor seating area. They made a fresh batch of tea for me which was great. We stumbled across this location after a beautiful and scenic hike in the area. This has to be one if the coolest Starbucks locations. This location use to be a bank and the bank vault is a neat site to see. The vault has been converted to a cozy seating area. Although the inside area is closed due to COVID, it was nice to see such a cool Starbucks location. Currently the outside has plenty of seating in case you are looking to grab a seat. The bathrooms were open to customers and extremely clean. Placed my drink order and the staff were warm and friendly. Definitely check out this Starbucks in case you are around the area. read more

Didn't get a welcoming vibe here. I was the only one in line and the cashier kept pressing if "I wanted anything else, did I want anything else" when I didn't have 2 seconds to look at the menu or what pastries were in the counter. I used to work at Starbucks back in the day so I generally know what I want but sometimes new products on the menu just could tempt me to try. Her attitude killed my appetite so I went with my usual drink. After I paid $8.00 for my coffee she immediately did a 180 turn so her back was facing me, with her arms crossed. No "thank you" no "have a great day" just back turned, and for what? She wasn't the person making my drink, there were no other drinks to be made, and there was no one behind me in line (or in the store for that matter). She just stood like that for a minute. It was like I was bothering her for ordering a drink. It was the weirdest encounter I've ever had at Starbucks. The other baristas seemed nice (hence the extra star) read more

Unless you have a half an hour to wait to for your coffee, I highly recommend going somewhere else. I have only been here twice. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because the first time I came here was at nine am on a Friday, I ordered inside, still waited a half an hour and I was late to work (Again I arrived at 9 am, shift started at 10 am in SLO and I didn't make it) because after I asked for a refund they asked me to please wait one more minute. However, at 3:30 pm the next day, I chose to try the drive through, which was my mistake again, because again, another half an hour wait in the drive through. This time I had to get to SLO by five pm and again, I was not sure if I was going to make it. Ok, so I regularly order (3-5 x week) the same drink, *which is a regular menu item for Starbucks*. It has four ingredients. Total. 3 out of 4 times, the drink is wrong. I ordered online Drove through to pick up ( bad mistake) I sat about 17 minutes in drive thru , when I got to window my drink was melted , I took a sip of the drink I get 5 days a week and it was literally the most bitter drink ever. The only unique Starbucks that I've ever visited. What makes this place different than all the other Starbucks in the world is the building it's in. This location actually used to be a bank. When Starbucks took over and remodeled they left the vault of the bank. So you can actually hang out in the old vault. It's got like two foot thick concrete walls and the old vault door is still hanging on its hinges. It's cool to visit a Starbucks and see something different. The place was clean the staff was friendly and the drink came quick. They also have a drive thru if that's your thing. read more

This place sucks!!! The customer service is trash and the drinks are even worse. I've gone 5 times and every time I regret spending almost 10 bucks on the drink. I get the same thing every time and they over charged me once. So I brought it to the guy's attention and he started fighting with me telling me that I was wrong until I pulled my phone out and ordered it off my phone to show him the total. Then I didn't get an apology or anything. This douche bag rolled his eyes and said "whatever" lol. I work construction and work very hard for my money. He's lucky we were in a store and not on a job site cuz he would've regretted how he treated me instantly. Get a manager that cares cuz this place is terrible through and through.
