Stopped by Celia's Garden Café for breakfast during our weekend trip and it was a nice, low-key local spot to start the day. It's located in Los Osos with its own parking lot and a cute garden area for outdoor seating -- very homey and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and attentive, coming by often to refill water and coffee, which I really appreciated. We ordered the breakfast burrito, egg benedicts, and blintzes. The portions were pretty generous and everything tasted fresh. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was especially good -- definitely worth ordering if you come by. Overall, the food was solid and satisfying, though I'd say it's more of a classic American breakfast spot rather than anything particularly unique or standout. Still, a great option if you're looking for a relaxed local café with good service and a cozy outdoor setting.

I have eaten at Celia's on and off for several years and the food is comforting and tasty. There is indoor or outdoor seating and the patio is dog friendly. On this recent visit for breakfast, we were seated at a comfy little table by a side door during the breakfast. I'm not certain if this was the reason, but our service was not as attentive as it could have been. Our are server was friendly, but I had to get up and go to the front counter to request items several times. We ordered the waffle and corned beef hash and eggs. Both were very good. The waffle was served with fresh berries and the corned beef hash was their own creation. All in all, Celia's is a cute little spot with good food. It's worth a stop.

Celia's has changed ownership. Their staff is always friendly and the pleasant atmosphere remains. The menu has changed and has been diminished a bit. For example, there were seven Benedict selections, and now just four; soda is served by the can, so no refills. The portions seemed to have been downsized as well, as today's our Crab Cake Benedict were smaller than before, along with a minute amount of Hollandaise sauce. Cottage cheese was chosen in lieu of potatoes for fewer carbs. I received an extremely small amount in a small ramekin cup. Although we were seated promptly as usual, it took some time to receive menus and to order. Our table was a bit sticky and had drink rings -- we were offered a wet cloth to clean it ourselves.

Coffee and they have raw sugar

If I can, I go to breakfast at Celia's after I get a hair cut. I love their breakfast, coffee and the best wheat toast. Today, as usual I had a scramble with chicken sausage, mushrooms and snow peas, a great combination. My husband had the chili verde and potatoes. Usually I share the potatoes but I ate everything and was too full. I opted for fruit instead of potatoes. Coffee is great and they have raw sugar, which I prefer. The servers are nice and friendly, some have been there for quite a few years. They had some great looking cookies, maybe next time, I'll get a couple. Sometimes when it's crowded you have to park on the street. They have a nice patio for eating, both front and back as well as inside. Bathrooms are outside and there are two of them.

Half Cinnamon Swirl French Toast (front) and Patty Melt or Tuna Melt (back)

A hearty lunch spot on the patio! My friends favorite dish is the tuna melt, which arrives on delicious fresh marbled rye (with the perfect hint of caraway), caramelized onions, and moist tuna salad. I had a hard time choosing from the extensive menu (sweet or savory?) when I spotted a "lighter fare" menu that offered a half portion of the French toast with two slices of bacon. The "half portion" mean two thick slices cut into four triangles which was plenty of food, along with the protein bacon. The bread base of the French toast was a strong cinnamon swirl bread which enfused the resulting eggy concoction with flavor! Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - small parking lot in pack and plenty of street parking available to the side - vegetarian options

    Cheeseburger & fries

Have driven by this restaurant forever, finally decided it was time to try it out. Ordered a cheeseburger and subbed romaine instead of spring mix. Would have ordered a side salad but they only had spring mix option. Came with fries. Sodas only came in cans, so opted for water to drink. Burger nice and medium rare, yummy. Fries, however, were too seasoned and peppery and soft. The water was in a tiny glass and they were so slow to refill. I finally had to get up and fill my own water!! They only gave me one napkin until I took a couple more on my own. I noticed that they hadn't tidied up the creamer bowl, still trash from previous guest. I chose to sit on the LOVR garden because it was too sunny in the back garden. Lovely setting, though. The server never came back until she gave me the bill. Good burger but not worth the rest of the negatives. Won't be back, sorry.

Always nice to enjoy a nice meal. One of the last places to get biscuits and gravy. The breakfast burrito is huge.

A new friend recommended and took me to this place and it was great. I love brunch and hadn't explored any places in Los Osos yet so coming here for breakfast was a treat. . The venue has a remodeled barn style with red wood making the structure stand out on a bustling main road. It was fairly busy in the café with glorious weather the summer day we dined there and thus the patio was full and we were seated inside. The menu had typical breakfast fan fare and reads more like an upscale diner. I ordered a mimosa with one of their Benedict's and my comrade got the pancakes. . The plates were rich and the portions large enough for two sittings. Hands-down, some of the best café/diner food that I've had the pleasure to eat. I can tell this place is very popular among locals and regulars alike. Definitely food-coma inducing dishes. . For all the passerby of the northern central coast, Celia's Garden Café will satisfy all your brunch needs .

Loved everything about this place. The location, food, ambience outdoors. It's the perfect setting for a brunch. I went solo before headed to the beach. Can't wait to return.

We had a great breakfast here! I ordered the traditional Benedict and it was perfect really hit the spot. Also the pancakes was delicious. And I loved their sausage it was so good. The staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable.

Saturday morning brunch, and lots of people dining, yet... Easy parking, quick seating, instant drink order, quick order taken by pleasant and efficient staff, and quick kitchen turned out food that was tasty, fresh, prepared as asked. This is classic American breakfast well executed. But what's even more exciting is what they have planned for the surrounding, formerly unused space. Outdoor picnic style seating, day time hang out spaces, and hopefully drinks, live music, and evening activities soon. This place is cleaned up, looking sharp, and investing in tasteful changes, while maintaining the tasty menu and professional service it already had going for it. I am looking forward to our next visit.

After 4 PM, they offer the "420 Special," which makes their sandwiches only $9. They also have online ordering, which I attempted to use, but they had already reached their limit for online orders because they were so busy. And after visiting, I can see why! Despite the crowd, they've perfected their sandwich ordering system, it's super efficient. When you walk in, you fill out a small paper checklist with your order and hand it to one of the employees at the register. They submit your order, you pay, and then wait for your sandwich. Expect at least a 25-minute wait, especially during busy hours. I tried the Tropical Vacation sandwich: smoked turkey, jalapeño havarti, "the works," romaine, sprouts, avocado, honey mustard, cranberry sauce, and sliced sourdough. I swapped the sourdough for Dutch Crunch bread, and it was PERFECT. It was the thickest, juiciest, and most flavorful sandwich I've ever had. I'll be dreaming about it until I can have it again. The pictures truly don't do these sandwiches justice, they were massive. I also tried the Spring Club sandwich. It was just as thick and delicious, though not quite as juicy as the Tropical Vacation. Honestly, I want to try ALL of their sandwiches because I have no doubt they're all amazing.
