It's in the USC village. The amount of orders is always huge but they could make coffee really fast. I mean the estimated time can be accurate. Atmospheres are vibrant and friendly.

I understand this Starbucks in particular would have crowds since it's one of the few in the area that accepts mobile orders. I waited approx 45 mins for my drink which was expected but they were really unorganized and I didn't receive my drink for another 10 mins after it was made since they couldn't locate it. Also, I asked for light ice as you can see from the photo but the cup is 3/4 full of ice. I understand I went during a rush hour, but the least they can do is get my order right. I was already so upset about having to wait an additional 10 mins and them getting my order wrong was the last straw. I felt bad having them remake the drink since all the workers looked stressed and I didn't want to wait even longer than I already had to. I prob won't go to this Starbucks again and recommend others to order in person at the other nearby locations

Starbucks is always my go to for coffee. This location in particular can be very crowded during the semesters. I usually just go to the Starbucks in Target because the line always moves faster. At this location, you can also pre-order your drinks. I got my usual drink: Iced Caramel Macchiato Upside + Oatmilk. I also got the Double Smoked Bacon, Cheddar and Egg Breakfast Sandwich. The food and drinks at Starbucks never disappoints!

Just realized today that USC village has 2 Starbucks. If you order pick up, it's gotta be this one, NOT the Target one. The vibe is very nice actually. They clean the seating every single time a customer left (at least that's what they did when I was there). The staff behind the bar were not very responsive though.. I waited a long time before they turned to make an eye contact.

If you're going to go to Starbucks at USC, this is the one. They accept mobile orders for pickup. I have ordered in person before, and depending on how busy it is, your order can be ready in anytime between 5-20 minutes. I prefer to order in advance through my app. I think they are a bit understaffed, but so far everyone has been nice.

The interior is beautiful, the bathrooms are clean and spacious and there are semi private "desks" to work on. I love the vibe of the space and the high ceiling and there are more outlets than most other Starbucks. My biggest complaint was that I ordered 2 of the same drinks (cold brew pumpkin cold foam) and they both were noticeably different colors and tasted very different. To me I go to Starbucks because of the convenience and consistency and the fact that the drinks were made by the same person at the same location but were drastically different was not cool. P.s. no USC student discount

Iced Venti Pumpkin Cream Chai

Perla's energy was exactly what I needed when I came in today. Mondays are already super draining starting out the week but her energy was up and at em. I was a bit unsure what to try because I'm always trying to find something new, so the barista named Jose told me to try the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai since I've never had Chai before and let me tell you, IT WAS DELICIOUS. Literally like drinking a horchata but BETTER! I usually buy shaken espressos so I would have never picked this, thanks again for the recommendation and to Perla for the amazing energy she threw at me today! The store was clean as always, it's usually super busy but thankfully there was no line, to prevent waiting I recommend ordering via the app because rush hour is pretty insane!

Great taste but too much foam. I would request for less foam.

This Starbucks is always consistent with my drinks, so I suggest this location to anyone. Plus it is in the middle of USC village, which is newly built and gorgeous. Typically it is bustling with USC students and alumni, but the lines are never long as the service is quick here. They also accept the stars rewards, unlike the other Starbucks locations on USC campus. My favorite drinks: Matcha Latte (light ice or hot) Pumpkin Spice Latte (hot and seasonal) Nitro Cold Brew with Salted Foam (only at this location at USC) London Fog Latte Any of the refreshers Pikes Place Roast Coffee I like to try out new drinks. Thought the Cascara Latte and the cloud macchiato was alright. The cloud is especially a waste because half your drink is foam;otherwise, the taste is great.

My order

Room for improvement but we only have two to choose from on campus. I normally order drinks (my way) so it's never straight off the menu as is. Came in on Monday and ordered my "Hot Girl Summer Lemonade" I normally show a photo of the order sticker in efforts to have my drink made correctly but this time, even with the sticker it was made wrong. No worries, I wasn't in a time crunch and it was pretty dead since students are gone for the summer so I didn't mind waiting for it to get remade. I ordered a Trenta lemonade easy ice with extra strawberry base, mango dragon fruit base, passion tango tea on top with a pump of classic. This drink is amazing and refreshing, the Trenta lasts me for some hours as I sip throughout my day...The first time it was missing the base and a pump of classic, so when they remade it they added the strawberry base and classic but forgot the tea. It was 0/2 today for the campus starbs . I didn't worry much because the manager was on site and told me to take both drinks! I couldn't be mad at that. However on a busy day when school is in session, this location frequently messes up orders and it would be impossible to wait for a remake especially if your on your way to class.

The worker was rude and didn't count the discount that had to be applied. And half the drink was ice. And it's dirty.

It may have been the friendliest Starbucks I've ever been in. My iced vanilla latte was perfect and the place was clean and well setup.

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

I was pleased to get some Cafe Dulce nearby while I shopped at Trader Joe's and Target in the USC village. This cafe does have a top of the range Vietnamese coffee...a joyous cup that does no harm. I ordered a limited time drink they were promoting. A salted caramel latte. Now I know myself too well...that I should always stay loyal to my coffee choices and stick with the minimum sugar intake. The coffee was good but I wasn't thriving with the amount of sugar it had. I will continue to stick with the Vietnamese choice or a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk. Those are always on my inviting side for Cafe Dulce. Their Little Tokyo location is also a great visit experience. They have some tasty breakfast burritos there. Other than that, a great cafe to check out with plenty of college students here minding their business.

When I went to pick it up, I grabbed a saucer to avoid spilling on my way back to my seat. Before I could even walk away, one of the baristas snatched it from my hand and said, "You're not allowed to use that. The saucers go with the latte mugs!" I paused, glanced at the empty café behind me, and replied, "There are plenty available--surely I can use one." He continued, in a dismissive tone, speaking to me in a way that felt unnecessarily disrespectful. I chose to walk away and still enjoy my pour-over. But it's not just about serving good coffee. As Maya Angelou reminds us, people will always remember how you made them feel. And in this space, I felt unwelcome. As a paying customer--one who tipped in advance--that behavior felt undeserved and unwarranted. For that reason, there's no need to return.
