I enjoy coming to this Yogurtland, it right by USC so there are always college students around. The employees are really nice, they always greet you when you arrive and they offer sample cups. I always get a few sample cups because they always change up their flavors so I like to see if they have any new flavors I would like. They have so many options for toppings as well. Their fruit is always fresh and looks really delicious. They also have a lot of candy options available as toppings. I would definitely keep coming to this location because they keep it clean and it is always fully stocked. My favorite flavors are chocolate, plain vanilla, and strawberry. You roughly know what to expect when you come to a frozen yogurt shop. I came here for a date, which I wouldn't recommend, it was very loud inside. The acoustics of the interior really amplify voices so it was tough to hear my date talk. Frozen yogurt is decent. It's not exceptional but it's not bad either. It's frozen yogurt. Service is great, they gave me samples of the pumpkin pie, red velvet, and milk and honey. The pumpkin pie literally tastes like liquid pumpkin pie. I was impressed how well they captured the flavor. The red velvet was not to my liking, little too sweet. I was a big fan of the milk and honey though. It did not in the least bit taste like either of its namesakes, but it was really good. I got the pistachio too, which was also decent. For toppings, the gummy bears were pretty good--hard to mess that up--but the lychee fruit were very bad. I put 3 in my dish and I couldn't finish them, they were likely canned. My date also couldn't eat her lychee. I recommend not even offering lychee unless it's going to be higher quality. I think lychee is a tough fruit to get right even normally. If you're looking for a simple late night treat with friends this is a decent option. Tueaday is discount of buy one and get the other one 50% off so we went to the lady and asked her if we got the discount and she said no because we didn't tell her like whatt??!! This is my 1st Yogurtland's visit & the frozen yogurt is quite tasty... it really does taste like molasses & gingerbread, a great flavor to kick-off the holiday season! I thought it would be a larger portion from OTM Club's curated pic, but what was given was a decent enough portion. And the toppers were a nice texture & flavor complement to the froyo. It's usually always clean and the employees are nice, probably students. I understand due to Covid there are some changes Yogurtland had to make. What I can't understand is terrible service and the majority of flavors being out. There was one girl helping people and another guy popped out from behind the counter to break the news that they were out of most everything... then disappeared again. Of course, the only flavor I made the trek for (plain tart) was gone, as were all fruit tart flavors. How the hell do you run out of the plain tart: your signature flavor?! That's like going to McDonalds and they tell you they're out of Big Macs! I don't like artificial flavors such as "campfire s'mores" and the like. I settled on plain chocolate and salted caramel (decent but not what I came for). The girl pours some into the cup, "is this good?" No, a cup filled 1/4 the way isn't good. So I added a flavor... "is this good?" Nope... please add more to make the long ass wait worth my while. "Is this good?" *me breathing deeply* Then the Toppings... same thing, "is this good?" As she awkwardly adds the toppings on one side only. The result was a long wait, a bunch of yogurt I really didn't want and the presentation was awful and downright pitiful. Yogurtland is down the street from USC right under Gateway Apartments. I've been here a few times with friends as a study break. The quality and cleanliness here cannot compare to other Yogurtlands. The counters almost always have spilled froyo on them. I've noticed the froyo here is icier than at other Yogurtlands. Some of the flavors are also completely out when I come here at night. Some of my fave fruity Yogurtland flavors are Alphonso Mango Tart, Strawberry Lemonade, Blackberry Passion Fruit Tart, and Apricot. Yogurtland is one of the cheapest frozen yogurt shops not only near USC, but that I've ever been to (priced per oz). When you walk into the shop, you are greeted by a gust of refreshingly cool air and a kind employee offering you sample cups. TAKE THE SAMPLE CUPS!! Use these to pick your flavor (or mooch on the generosity of the store and have a little snack between meals- whatever works.) They also have delicious fruit-infused water free of charge that's extremely refreshing. Sometimes I come here just for that! Yogurtland is constantly switching up its flavors which offers variety, but also despair if you're looking forward to your favorite flavor (like I usually am.... I miss you matcha green tea....) The toppings bar here is great! A great melange of fresh fruit and sweet toppings like cheesecake bites and chocolate syrup. They change their toppings every so often as well. I really enjoy the Yogurtland here. It's your standard Yogurtland franchise with a USC twist -- for a while, the Trojan Mango was quite delectable. Too bad it was only seasonal. I often come here with friends to relax -- came here after turning in a final paper. It's very satisfying. I do have several concerns about this Y-Land though: they run out of yogurt super quickly throughout the day and even at 10PM, oftentimes, they are out. Moreover, it doesn't seem like they make an effort to replenish too frequently. The place is really popular and there are often lines that wrap around. Never fear, it's a yogurt shop and the line moves pretty quickly. Compared to 21 Choices (another froyo establishment near USC), Yogurtland has a lighter texture. This is fairly small and gets crowded pretty easily. Some people appear to be fans of being wasteful and leave their cups full of unpaid-for yogurt all over the counter with the empty cups (thanks, guys). But, with that said, at 33 cents per ounce, I actually got a fairly sizable cup of yogurt for $2.78 (something like that; the price seemed incredibly low considering I'd filled the entire thing, but go figure; I'm not about to complain). They have a bunch of sample cups in the front. I tried the honeycomb tart and it was pretty spot on, but not really what I look for in a yogurt, so I had the red velvet and the pineapple guava (tart) with blueberries and cheesecake bits -- somewhat of a strange combination, I know, but I managed to keep them somewhat separate and it worked out well. They offer free strawberry-infused water on the right when you enter, so that's really nice. There are a ton of different flavors (lawl at Trojan Mango) and a good number of toppings. I think it's strange how they don't offer a student discount since they're right next to USC, but...since I don't go there, it wouldn't have helped me anyway. read more

You then put it on a scale which is attached to the cash register, it's like 30-40 cents per ounce. Pros: CLEAN, occasional deals on Facebook, 3 oz off when you take their serving, not too pricy to begin with, lots of sample cups which some people really abuse (Which is just really annoying. Like how are you going to walk in and use five of their sample cups and not buy anything?! Grr... but I digress) some really addictive flavors, abundance of toppings, and FREE strawberry infused spa water by the door. Cons: Sometimes the service is hit or miss-- they're supposed to offer you sample cups and say hi when you walk in but sometimes you have to stare them down or ask for the sample cups yourself; the wait can be absolutely absurd at times; there's always at least one yogurt that's super melty and will get all over your hands when you try a sample Tip: they've added some more summery flavors as of late.
