YO WTF IS THAT
Mary Claire D.

Got the same exact drinks yesterday. The coconut LYCHEE jelly today was like straight mush today like tastes like wet paper towel all mushy it's soooo nasty lol ruined my whole drink. It literally disintegrated in my mouth into paste it's gross!!! Wish I hadn't got that in my drink now lol. It was only a 5 min drive home! YO I JUST SLURPED THIS UP THRU THE STRAW WTF IS THAT EVEN??? THIS IS NOT WHAT I GOT IN MY FREAKING DRINK YESTERDAY. THIS IS FCKED.

I would always come to this location and never had issue, until today this server named Scarleth gave such a bad experience, kept rushing throughout my order , had a very rude attitude , I asked if they had macarons as well and she told me no , I look and they had a few . Do a better job next time scarleth

This location could be a hit or miss depending on the day and time you visit. It could be crowded with a family or 5-7 kids screaming and out of control or it could be a ghost town. Drinks are alway made fresh and I've never had an issue with any of my drinks. They no longer have a seating area (thank Gawd!) so it a stop and go location. You order your drink, wait a few minutes and then leave. I guess employees were fed up with parents not watching their 5 kids run around the place creating a mess.

Got two fruit shaved ice and a Chamango so yummy my order came out super fast the staff were very generous with all of my orders. The staff and the owner are very kind and fast. Definitely my go to boba time.

Thai Tea

Basically orange food coloring and milk. So disappointing. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other boba place and for a good drink.

New Green Thai Tea

Okay boba, and minimal vibes. The boba is usually okay across Boba Time chains. The same is true at this location. To me, 'ok' is due to the strange pearl texture, the default sweetness level being too high, the lack of tea and milk flavors coming through well, and the lack of a searing area where people can socialize.

I ordered online and drove in this store 30 minutes after I placed the order. When I arrived, they said their internet is not working and that I have an option to be refunded once their internet is resumed or they can do the order now and I will wait for about 10mins. Tap here and there on the register and then she said im good. 10 - 15 mins later of standing inside the store, the same lady called me and asked if she can see my online order coz she needs to write it down. So curiously I asked, no one is preparing my order yet? She said something but I didnt hear it so I asked the same question. She no one yet, and I asked but why? I have been standing in that corner for 10-15 mins, she said im the only person in the register, but I see 6 people including their manager/owner maybe. I understand the situation but i wish before she said im good to go at the register, she made sure someone has my order. 15 minutes later, a total of almost 30 minutes waiting, I am missing one boba drink from what they prepared. I guess this is not my day

Shitty drink! Might not be on the menu tho

This place sucks major ones!! I ordered my drink and asked to scan my rewards, but the dude seemed like he didn't care at all. I got my drink, and the powder was super thick like it didn't dissolve. I checked my rewards, and the dude never scanned it. What a shitty place! I'm never coming back to this Boba Shit!!

Popcorn chicken!! Delicious
Debbie P.

During this pandemic, we all need a little pick me up. Not sure why, but lots of boba shops in LA don't sell popcorn chicken. Luckily, this location does! Service was fast, the place was clean and had a nice modern interior. They had plexiglass up to protect their workers and customers. They also have a one person at a time policy. Solid place to get boba and a little snack.

Pistachio Frappe with Extra Pistachio
Sarah K.

Ever since the pandemic I have been finding myself coming here way more often than I did before or ever. At the moment they are allowing only one person to enter the store at a time and with a mask on. My usual go to drink is Thai Tea no boba but recently have been indulging in the Pistachio Frappe. Just these last couple of time I have been getting extra pistachio, it just makes it so much better. I usually get the large since my fiancé and I share it. The cost is decent it's about $5 and some change. They charge 0.50 for the extra pistachio as well. I haven't really tried anything off the food menu. This location accepts cards and cash. The parking lot is very small and sometimes really sucks cause it can get really packed in there. I don't know why but I feel like all boba times have small parking lots.

A hidden gem for vegan shaved ice lovers in West Hollywood!…read more First off, the shop itself is SO cute! It's spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and has such a fun, unique concept. I loved how beautiful everything looked, especially the shaved ice! the little details are seriously adorable! I've seen some mixed reviews mentioning that the shaved ice is too light or has an airy texture, so I went in curious about what I would think. As someone who's pretty picky with desserts and matcha, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed everything! I tried their strawberry coconut shaved ice and matcha shaved ice, along with their matcha and berry Blockshakes. The shaved ice has a very light, delicate, almost feathery texture rather than the traditional snowy texture you might be used to. The strawberry was my personal favorite, and I loved the unique flavor of the matcha shaved ice, which had a subtle chocolatey note to me. They also add the cutest little gluten-free cookie on top, and you can choose extra toppings like sweet red bean and coconut bites. The coconut bites are a MUST! They add such a nice texture and extra flavor. The Blockshakes were another fun surprise! They're such a unique addition to the menu, and I love that there are different flavors to choose from. Their matcha drinks also use Rocky's Matcha, which is a huge plus for matcha lovers like me! Another thing I appreciated is that everything is vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and made without artificial colors or flavors. I honestly felt good enjoying everything I ordered because I loved that I could treat myself to something delicious while still choosing plant-based options. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Mewame! Between the cute atmosphere, creative desserts, and unique drinks, it's definitely worth checking out if you're in West Hollywood and looking for something different!

The workers and owner are sweet though and make the shaved ice very quickly.

I LOVE Korean shaved ice, and Oakabing definitely hits the spot!…read more The shaved ice is so creamy, fluffy, and soft that you don't even have to chew the ice--it practically melts in your mouth. I also love that it's sweet without being overwhelmingly sweet, so you can actually enjoy the flavors without feeling like it's too much. One thing I really appreciate about this place is that they offer smaller versions of each flavor instead of making you commit to the bigger size. It's perfect if you want to try different flavors or just want a little something sweet without ordering a huge bowl. service is honestly nonexistent cus you order from the kiosk and the workers are always behind the curtain. Definitely a great spot for Korean shaved ice, especially if you love that super light and fluffy texture!

The staff seemed very tired and exhausted. Although the bingsu was already a little sweet even without adding extra syrup, I still enjoyed it. However, the music was extremely loud--so loud that I could barely hear the staff when they were speaking. I was actually a little concerned about the hearing of the employees who have to work there for several hours every day. Because the music was so loud, we couldn't comfortably eat in the main dining area, so we moved to a small room in the back. It was quiet there because there was no music, but unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes flying around. We all got bitten by mosquitoes. As for parking, there was a sign that said "Parking at Rear," but the parking area behind the building cost $5. Overall, I enjoyed the bingsu, and the staff was okay, but the extremely loud music, $5 parking and the mosquitoes in the back room made the experience less comfortable. I'm not sure if I would come back again.

Dessert: I absolutely love hojicha, and this was easily one of the strongest hojicha-flavored desserts I've had! The bingsu was soft, and the cream inside was the perfect addition. Parking: Street parking in the nearby area was pretty difficult, so we ended up using the $5 valet service in the plaza. Convenient, but definitely not my favorite parking situation. We originally were trying to come here and get some shaved ice, but they told us they had already closed that part of the kitchen. Luckily they still offered cakes and drinks. Parking is pretty difficult, and valet is $5. I can easily see the parking lot getting gridlocked on a busy day. I sampled a few of their gelato flavors, including the jasmine lychee and soy sauce. Both were okay, but I just wasn't in the mood for either of them today. I ended up getting the Pandan Toast to try. The pandan flavor was really good--not too grassy and didn't taste too artificial. The ice cream also had a buttery taste to it. It might have been from the toast, but I'm not too sure. The bread itself wasn't oily, which was nice, but it was kind of dry. The pandan sauce definitely helped make it easier to eat. I probably wouldn't eat the bread by itself though because it was super hard and didn't really have much flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect from the toast, but it wasn't quite what I expected. I originally wanted to try the mango sticky rice flavored shaved ice because it looked really good in the photos, but unfortunately they didn't have it today. I'd come back to try their shaved ice when mango is in season again!
