If ZERO stars were an option I would've put 0 August 12th, 2023 @5:56pm Now, if this photo doesn't give the slightest idea of the horrible customer service experience my partner and I encountered, no worries, I've got a story to back it! I'm sure you can see the workers clearly not helping this gentleman, right? Three people on shift and I'm not a hater against having a good time at work, by all means have fun! but when you have people standing there waiting to order while you're sitting in a trio laughing, it's not right to me. On this shift there's a blonde girl, a tall guy which you can see In the photo then we have the lovely lady who likes to give dirty looks. She had brown long hair, pretty sure she was Latina like myself. My girlfriend and I went in and ordered drinks, she not only gave attitude, but when my partner started ordering she cut her off and was rude because my girlfriend was not sure of the name of the drink she ordered. She made us feel rushed for one, and did not give anyone after us the same treatment. Not sure if we made he uncomfortable for being gay? I'm not sure what it was . But regardless it was horrible treatment, dirty looks and then didn't even tell us when our order was ready. Let alone even ask one of us for our names . She was very rude, and tbh I have never ever been looked at the way she looked at me with such a rude and dirty resting face. Idk who hired this girl but If you're smart you'll RE hire and/or re train your people on proper customer service. I can see from the comments I'm not the only one treated poorly .

If I kept living here I'd probably have over 3000 check ins. This location was my daily hangout when I use to ride my skateboard back in the day. I remember when they first built this location and back then I never tried coffee until I had it here. I remember all the employee here and they all seemed so cool. I never had a bad experience here! The last time I was here was 2022 so I guess I'll make a little trip here in 2023 for some memories.

Why do I do this to myself? Ordering the average coffee drinks from Starbucks is bad enough, but I know better than to order any of the food items. SO WHY DID I? Oh yes, those damn points, saturation of the market and hunger. Had I not have gotten a free (average tasting as always) latte I wouldn't have order that measly "croissant." I use the term croissant lightly. It was more of slightly warmed spongy bread wrap. It's insulting really to even call it a croissant. The French would be disgusted (as am I). I should have popped across to Costco and gotten a dozen decent flaky croissants for a couple of dollars more. Note to self. JUST DON'T. * The food is a 1-star, the average drink and the quick easy service gets the second star.

The barista was having a good 7 min talk with the customer while there is line of 4!! Once they were done and it was my turn I treated as in I own her something. Now I'm hoping she didn't do anything to my drink Not coming to this spot again

This is the most convenient starbucks for me, because of location and parking. This starbucks changed crew since I last ordered. The original crew was friendly, they all came from the other location that closed. They were all friendly except for an older lady barista. But overall, they're the best team I had at this location back then. But recently, I think they had a change in crew, customer service was from 10 to 3. 8am in the am, they're NOT the best people to see. I ordered a Venti HOT macchiato, but I think they forgot it was supposed to be HOT AND TRANSFERRED THE SAME DRINK ON A HOT CUP CONTAINER, solid cold "hot" macchiato. They did not even try to warm it up before putting it on the pick up section. I know I'm not a coffee expert, but I'm not numbed not to feel hot from cold. IT FELT ICED COLD ON A PAPER CUP. No joke. I had to tell it to this lady, no apology or anything she just took the coffee, changed it. The coffee sat on their counter for good 5mins because there was dog that distracted them. I had to look for my drink so I can get right away before it gets cold again. Same transaction, I ordered Ham and Cheese on Baguette, somehow it ended up Ham and Cheese on Croissant, no heads up or anything that they didnt have it and had to change. I'm good with that, but at least, they know what they're missing, quick note would be nice.

Starbucks helps out! The quietest place near Costko, with tables inside and outside. I've been waiting for a long time((( The coffee is delicious, no comments.

The matcha lavender latte is the star of the show. It's beautifully balanced: earthy matcha, a gentle floral note from the lavender, and just enough sweetness to tie everything together. It's the kind of drink you think about later in the day and wish you had another. And then there's the chocolate cake . The small ugly one that comes in a mini loaf, it was rich, moist, and deeply chocolatey without being overly heavy. It pairs perfectly with their drinks and feels like a little reward every time you order it.

PREVIOUS REVIEW2 It's been a while since I've been here the previous time. In addition to being very nice last time (except for the logistics of ordering and the non-functioning power outlets), the please remains a peaceful oasis and the ordering process has improved since. Most importantly, the coffee remains delicious, and the tomato basil tart was a wonderful quick lunch followed by a multi berry muffin. PREVIOUS REVIEW1 Cute little place in Atwater Village!! So cute with peaceful, relaxing and quiet atmosphere (inside/outside) that I thought I could get some work done (free WiFi). The concept is a bit confusing: There are a bunch of "menu items" such as sandwiches and wraps etc, but while they are listed on a big board behind the counter, you have to actually grab them premade/prepacked from a fridge ... The Vegan Smokey BBQ Wrap was very good except for the short and transient moment when I opened the container, but after all it was actually fresh, juicy and had a great flavor mix. The Mex Mocha with Almond milk (alternatives are available) was delicious, and I paired it with a GF Orange Chia Bread Loaf. PS: I'm neither Vegan nor GF fanatic... What really defied the purpose of coming here was the non-working power outlets, and the manager not taking care of it. My laptop unfortunately does not have a TESLA battery and hence I did not last for 2 hours... PS: I neither have a TESLA nor a Prius either ... Tip: Parking on this side of the street can be tough, look on the other side ...

I really love the location it's in, it's sort of hidden, and you might actually miss it if you're not looking for it. You park in the lot adjacent to it, and there's a sign that leads you to walk in. It really does feel like an oasis, like some people have described, tucked away from everything. Anyways, the coffee is amazing. The attention to detail these coffee shops put into everything is the cherry on top of it all. I'm a simple gal with my iced lattes with whole milk and no sweetener, and this place just knows how to get the ratio right, smooth, balanced, and not overpowering at all. Aside from it all, this location is definitely promising and I can see a lot of other businesses flourishing here. The vibe is so Zen.

The shop and coffee area have separate entrances, and drinks aren't allowed inside the store. There's a cart/rack near the entrance where you can leave your drinks while you shop, which is convenient. I've been looking for a matcha bowl for a while and came across one from Origami. It was labeled $26, which seemed like a great deal given the quality. Unfortunately, at checkout, the staff told me it had been mislabeled and was actually $45, and they couldn't honor the marked price. I understand mistakes happen, and I did overhear them saying it was someone else's error--they weren't sure how the $26 tag ended up there. It sounded like that price might have been the original Japanese yen price without markup. I guess it really was too good to be true. Still, it was a bit disappointing since I was excited to find it at that price in the U.S. Make sure you are charged the correct price during checkout in case they made the same mistake on other products and you get charged more than what you expect. Other than that, the staff was friendly. The coffee was decent, and the seating area had a really nice vibe. I would recommend this place if you are in the area and wanted to enjoy coffee without parking hassle. It's not exceptionally good coffee but it's still decent.

It's not thick and chunky like their other stuff. And it's actually good?? I hate that it's good because I went from a Heytea hater to a Heytea frequenter. It's floral, fragrant and it's a perfect mix of guava and milk/cream. Never would I have thought to pair guava and dairy together BUT IT WORKS SOMEHOW. Think strawberries and cream... but guava. The jasmine tea isn't prominent but it's there as a base layer and definitely smells soooo good. The guava taste is strong and I don't know what magic they put in there but it's not artificial and gross. The cream on top is nice too! I tend to drink from the lid the first and just enjoy the cream and then afterwards I'll mix it in with the drink. It's $8 which is pricey.... But I hate that I like it. I've gotten it like 5 times this month alone. They ran out of stickers but the drink is still just as good!
