Very inconsistent, sometimes your coffee will be ready in five minutes, sometimes it takes 25 minutes, even if the app says it will be ready in 10. Be careful ordering from this place if you're on the way to work and have any time constraint. What really got me last time when I decided I would never order from here again was one of the blonde ladies yelled at me when I told her it had been 20 minutes since I order, 15 minutes at the absolute be ready, and now I was late for work and I would settle for just any other drink. This Belmont Shore SBUX is my stop spot half way through my Sunday morning 10 Milers. Pretty consistent drinks and the friendliness of the employees is usually pretty good, too. This is the only location in the Belmont Shore/2nd Street area, so it's pretty busy. My only gripe is that the waiting area for drinks is directly in front of the door, so you have to maneuver through a large group of people and strollers just to get in line to place an order, which reminds me of my old nightclubbing days and trying to get to the bar for a drink. read more

No drive thru, no parking set aside for Starbucks patrons. Street parking only. You may get stuck frustrated circling alleys and roads looking for parking so this location is not ideal for car drivers. We had to drop one person off then driver circling area. Overall great standard Starbucks. Clean restrooms, good people. Ordered a green tea frap, they gave me a green tea latte warm. Had to return it. My baby girl needed a diaper change and the changing station in the rest room was slanted downwards, as if someone sat on it. Unfortunately, I had to put my baby girl on the floor (on top of blankets) to change her. This store needs security outside! Belmont shore has been overwhelmed with homeless in the past few years. Multiple times I've been asked to buy a coffee when I'm walking in. I saw homeless man last Sunday morning follow a customer inside to buy him coffee and when the staff refused to serve him he flew off his rocker. First time here. Came in for some coffee. Bad service tonight. Coffee tasted burnt, restrooms had no soap to wash hands or TP. Sitting outside in patio area, and employee still took our table while we were still drinking our burnt coffee. Did not wait until we were finished. Horrible service. Also waited 15mins for water. I really love this starbucks and the staff is great- however the place has been taken over by street bums and the staff does nothing about it, you can no longer even sit in the outside area to have a coffee without being inches away from a bum or their shopping cart , playing loud music on their phone or screaming without a care. We walked in and order a medium cup of water, he said okay and asked us to step aside because other customers walked in. (European) we are black . Indian food can put you in a mean coma and we both had a bit of a drive ahead of us before going home. When the walk didn't help burn off any calories, we opted to get some caffeine. It's holiday season at Starbucks so this was an obvious choice. The red cups can put anyone in the mood. I opted for the pumpkin spice latte. There was a bit of a line for a weekend but it moved quick. The PST was just as I remembered it. I frequent this Starbucks because of the location - the heart of 2nd St. The line can be long depending on the time of day (like any Starbucks), but the service is pretty fast. My order has never been messed up (but I guess it's pretty hard to mess up ice coffee with nonfat milk and no sugar), so that may be a little biased. Only downside to this place is that there aren't many places to sit. Of course it is in Belmont Shore so space is a little cramped. I like to come in to study, so sometimes I end up needing to leave because there is nowhere to sit. Another negative of this place is that the little station with the cream, sugar, and stuff is not always the cleanest - the other day, it was dirty with straw wrappers everywhere and cream spilled and the trash can was overflowing. Despite the small downsides to this Starbucks, I will keep on coming back - great location, people are nice here, and prompt service. read more

After being up all night at the house with my wife, watching the kids, I ordered 2 individual venti beverages. one of the tall blonde Starbucks Baristas had the nerve to say "Maybe you should just go home and sleep, I just don't know if I can watch you this way," she said as she laughed in a patronizing way. Maybe y'all shouldnt make weak ass coffee beverages that can't even keep me awake. The place wouldn't exactly win a health code inspection if they were to have one as a surprise visit! Damn Im surprised how early the caffeine joints around the 2nd street area close, even on Sat night. I remember eating at the Taco Surf across the way years ago...Finding both Coffee Bean and Peet's down for the count, we hit this up. So they do have a CLover machine here so bonus. This Starbucks is new and improved. It pretty much has the same layout as the old Starbucks, but now has a patio and all new interior furnishings. They also have the new Clover technology for individual brewed coffee. It's only 10 cents more, and it's worth it. The coffee has a much smoother and overall has an excellent taste to it. The only bitch about this location is the parking, which was much easier at the other location on 2nd. read more

I love this Starbucks as it's right next to my job so I frequent them often. Everyone is so friendly and kind accept for one person. Every time myself and or my colleagues are "helped" by her, we never want to come back. She is an older woman I believe her name is Darleen. Every time I encounter her she has a bad attitude and is rude. She seems as though she doesn't like working there. It's so disappointing because the rest of the team is so amazing. She constantly says that she "can't do" normal requests that every other barista has helped us with, and when asked to clarify she is short and dismissive. She prioritizes counting her tips over helping guests with no communication like" I'll be with you in one minute". She acts annoyed whenever we try and ask her a questions, or make a requests, and I don't understand how she continues to act this way. If I walk in and see her at the counter, I will leave and get my coffee somewhere else. Management should definitely speak to her about her customer service skills. read more

Came here at 11:25 and ordered a venti pink drink. When I got the drink the cup was only 3/4 full. At first I was thinking I would just ignore it but then I realized that I should say something because there was nobody in line and she wasn't making other drinks. Her name was Kennedy and I asked her to fill it up more and she did. When she filled it up it still wasn't filled up all the way. That is incredibly frustrating as a customer. There was nobody in line when I got there and nobody in line behind me and she wasn't rushing to make drinks so why would she do that? I thought that was pretty disappointing. read more

Ok, Kaylee the barista is super RUDE super ignorant and doesn't deserve her job. Me and my family ordered our drinks had a little sit down inside and we ordered water with our drinks. She never gave us the water and acted like too busy to reply to any customer thats when I turned to the cashier who volunteered to give me only 1 cup for my baby. I have been coming to this Starbucks since they opened their doors (literally). At first I fought the whole corporate coffee shop thing in this particular area. I decided to give it a shot way back when they opened and I was hooked. The customer service was great and the store was managed really efficiently. What I found really appealing was the fact that the crew seemed to gel really well together and the whole team concept was outstanding. I don't think there were ever more than three or four customers in line in front of me (ever). Fast forward to the present day. I have never seen the lines so long and the staff mismanaged since I've been coming here. I have personally walked in and walked right out on at least a dozen occasions within the last month. Guess what, there's a PEETS COFFEE across the street and they don't have a line. I hate the coffee at Perts but thats where Ive been going lately. And I'm not the only one. There are a bunch of other customers who do the same thing. Wake Up Starbucks, you are losing long time loyal customers. Just a suggestion, open one of your registers for drip coffee only during peak traffic hours. read more

A really nice, spacious location. Since I used to work at Starbucks, I've been to many different locations. I really liked this location since it really is beautiful. They have a good amount of tables/seats and a nice little patio. The setup worked perfectly Luckily, it wasn't busy when I went, but I'm sure this location can get pretty busy on the weekends.
