We walked in to do work/study there and about five minutes later the volume of the music goes up in the place and it sounds like I'm in the club. Like most of these other reviews I am not a big Starbucks fan and haven't used one in a long time... but glad I came into this one. I got lucky and there was a parking spot right outside its door. I could tell that parking at this place and be quite difficult during peak hours. Inside was very clean and staff was very pleasant and efficient. My iced coffee was delicious but my breakfast burrito was underwhelming. All in all I had a good experience and will return. read more

Very modern Starbucks. So glad they opened one closer to work!! Right in the corner of Magnolia & Broadway - across the street from the Courthouse. Street parking available. Friendly & quick service. Spacious inside. Tables aren't extremely close to each other. Outdoor seating is also available! Around 10 tables inside and 10 tables outside. Never have I seen so many tables at a Starbucks before. This is the 4th Starbucks within a short distance from all the others in downtown LB, including: -one inside Renaissance hotel, limited hours, lots of seats this one can be crowded if there are conventions in town -5th/Long Beach Blvd-super small, dirty, too many loud peeps, watch out for the hustlers in the parking lot -near 3rd/Pine-this is the first one in downtown LB. Limited seating, lots of old folks just people watching, playing games, or talking story. This location is really nice, has lots of outdoor seating, across from the brand new courthouse. Indoors it is also very large, lots of nooks and crannies. I like this set up the best, room to move without elbowing or bumping into somebody. I'll make take the extra steps to walk here so I can order my coffee in peace. Best location ever. read more

What can be say about this starbucks... Its a nice starbucks. Nice inside clean and a vast outside seating area. Now 4 stars why??? Its very simple and its not even the starbucks fault..but their located right accross from the county court house and jail..so you get a high level of transient traffic and disturbance from that environment. This is possibly the worst managed location I've been to. History of hiring rude employees. Constantly understaffed so be prepared to wait 20"+ during rush hours and drinks are often badly made. The only plus (aside from location) is that there's a simple courtyard to enjoy when covid is not an issue. read more

This is a really nice location with pretty fast WiFi to boot. My only major gripe is that the (Google sponsored) WiFi is weirdly restrictive when it comes to Google services. YouTube is blocked, which I don't fault them if they're trying to keep people from camping out here all day, but why is single sign on with your Google account also blocked? I was trying to sign into a site with my Google account and it just wouldn't go through. I also couldn't access hangouts.google.com to reply to messages. I'm honestly surprised I was able to access my Gmail account after those two roadblocks. Other than that, it's a fairly standard Starbucks. Service was good, coffee was Starbucks coffee (whatever that means to you), and it even has a nice outdoor patio area. Just don't expect full access to Google services if you use them. read more

This Starbucks is awesome possum! Located in DTLB, right when you exit to Broadway off the 710, you can't miss it! There is plenty of seating, I didn't have to fight a beezy for a table and bump elbows at the communal table. There is also a patio for even more space. Did you know they also serve wine? Craft beers? (They stop serving at 8:30 PM) And have an evening menu?! So hip and cool. I know a lot of people are so against dates at cafes, but I think this Starbucks has to be an exception, before going on a real date though. Workers here are super nice too and give you that home-y mom and pop shop vibe that you usually miss out on at Starbucks. Definitely will be back at this location! read more

But I was very disappointed to see all the outlets on the wall intentionally covered so I wasn't able to charge my laptop which really sucked. I come to this starbucks all the time and everytime I come in a barista named Kapri always has the nastiest attitude. But last week was the worst. I came in and waited at the pick up area for my drink NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE STORE and she didnt greet me didnt ask how can I help nothing. Then a supervisor or someone counting inventory comes out from the back and she walks up and says whats your name. I tell her she hands me my drink and walks away. Came in again today shes making the drinks and my drink sauce is clumped at the bottom not even bothered to mix it. I dont pay $5 dollars to mix the drink myself. I came exactly on time. So I went to go try this pink drink a wonderful lady at the strip club told me to try. She swore I'd love it. Jay, the barista who is always hard at work on my complicated orders, made it and by the time I got back to my desk ,I still couldn't grasp wtf it was that I was drinking. I am not a diehard Starbucks fan. I definitely do not buy it everyday, and when I do...I only buy plain coffee or some sweets. I recently relocated to the area and found this Starbucks. I've probably been there at least 10 times now. It is probably one of the best Starbucks I have been to (including the often crowded ones in NYC). The staff here is super friendly, the dining area and restrooms are always clean, the dining area is huge and the patio is huge. For me that means I know I can sit somewhere with my laptop and not have to fight over outlets. (Note: I have only come after 6:00 pm during the week and on weekends so I am not sure how crowded or crazy it gets M-F workhours with the courthouse being right across the street). I haven't used them yet, but they also have wireless charging for your cell phone. I've been to 4 Starbucks in Long Beach and this is the best of those 4. Can't go wrong when you have WiFi that actually works, plenty of space and great customer service. read more

Conveniently located across the street from the court house and one of the few places where professionals and hipsters seem to mingle and coexist. What I can say about this SB is the service here is one of the best! The cashiers here are friendly and their happy smiles got me smiling too, and I'm not even the smiling type. The drinks here come out in a timely manner despite this place being super busy because of their location. the new flat white is freakin good. velvety sweet espresso with foam.. i add two raw sugars to my grande and its one of my favorite drinks. pastries are always meh. i did see that started serving mallorcan bread which i love, but they arent a bakery. also, not giving me a receipt and always have to ask is annoying. dont forget your receipt cuz sometimes they have specials and you get ripped off if you dont get your receipt. sometimes if i get overly annoyed with them barrage of dumb questions while im ordering, i take 5 pounds of napkins and straws and sugar as payback. read more
