The worst Starbucks I've ever seen! Try to order online and they can't make anything- no syrups, no toppings, no special drinks. Nothing. Corporate needs to check in with the owners because this place is trash.

Starbucks at Kukui Grove Center has an excellent selection of food choices and quick gift ideas for any coffee lover that you might have on your Christmas list!! They also make an wonderful Americano with whipped cream if you need a quick pick me up while your starting or finishing up your Christmas shopping!!!

Easily accommodated this mainlander's crazy Keto Drink request. The staff was very friendly, quick to make our order and clean location.

Black Tea with Lemonade (tall) - VN
    Vince N.

We had some time to kill before our tubing activity, so we were poking around the Kukui Grove Center. I was craving a cold beverage but didn't want soda, so I moseyed on in and was going to order my favorite drink, the Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino. Scanned the menu and saw they had iced tea, my all-time favorite drink. ATMOSPHERE: This location is quite spacious and sports lots of counter seating. BEVERAGE: Teavana Shaken Iced Black Tea Lemonade - I didn't know what to expect as I never had this before. I for sure did not want lemonade, so I asked for just a "little bit" of lemonade to be added to the tea. The flavor was pretty close to what I was expecting in terms of the tea and lemon ratio. I added maybe half a teaspoon of sugar which was perfect. My only gripe is that the "tall" size was so tiny and there was ice overload. Oh well, lesson learned. SERVICE: Helen was very welcoming and friendly. Drink delivery was pretty slow even if they weren't slammed. Maybe it's due to complicated drink orders? OVERALL: Another cookie cutter Starbucks that serves its purpose well.

The banana flavor is a syrup and it reminds me of the banana candies. The matcha wasn't too milky. The bagel sandwich lacked flavor for me. I might just be too used to salt but I did find that the egg portion wasn't super flavorful. I did appreciate that the bagel was quite soft. Overall, it was alright! The toast selections alone are 5 Star! We enjoyed: -Hawaiian Vanilla Latte - half sweet was the perfect balance -Americano with steamed cream - Kauai Latte-- Maybe I don't know what I'm looking for in a Mac nut syrup but I didn't notice any unique flavors...but it was still delish. But let's talk about the TOAST! They all looked SO GOOD. I narrowed it down to two: the avocado toast deluxe or the eggy toast. The eggy toast is more like an egg salad. Even though I think any time of day is a good time for egg salad, I went with the deluxe because microgreens and pickled red onions have a hold on me. While I've had variations of this toast at home and in my hometown, I've never tried it with chili. My lips were burning a bit, so if you are a sissy with heat, you might want to opt for no or reduced sauce. I left with no regrets...except that I should have come sooner than our last day on Kauai...and I should have grabbed an eggy toast to go!

We stopped by on a Tuesday around 8:30AM and got our pick of malasadas to try out! Kauai Bakery is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of ample parking, making it very easy to stop by and grab some delicious pastries. Service is like your typical bakery, you pick what you would like and they get it to you so you can stuff your face immediately after purchase. Ambiance is cozy with plenty of pastries to pick from in the large display case. We got 4 flavors of Malasadas for $16, which is $4 per doughnut, which I think is a decent price for the size and heft. The flavors we sampled were Lilikoi, Coconut, and Guava - out of these flavors, the coconut one was my personal favorite! The flavor was exactly what I would want anything coconut cream flavor should taste, creamy texture with a pleasant coconut taste that didn't taste artificial at all. It captured the floral background taste that is missing from a lot of coconut desserts that makes coconut so pleasing to eat! The Lilikoi one was my next favorite, it had a slight tartness and a more subtly pronounced flavor - I think I was looking for something stronger personally. Lastly was the guava one, which actually tasted a bit artificial and didn't have a pronounced flavor at all, which was unfortunate. Despite this critique, I would still glady inhale 2 or 3 of them because the dough was really pillowy and really enjoyable to eat. I think that the pastries here (at least the malasadas) are very solid and priced competitively vs most things here on Kauai. I would totally come back to get several more of the malasadas as well as try the other pastry options on the menu. Stop by and give this bakery a try if you are in the area!

They asked if I wanted flavor to the Hojicha like Caramel or Brown Sugar but I don't like my drinks too sweet so I got it straight up plain which was to my liking. Breakfast food items were delicious! Dad loved his yummy brioche bun and he had scrambled eggs in his Breakfast Sandwich which also had Ham, Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Aioli. My Avocado Toast was also real delicious! It had the Avocado Spread, Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Arugula, Feta and drizzle of Balsamic Vinaigrette. I added an Over Hard Egg for that Protein which was needed. Add ANY pastry according to my friend. You can't go wrong! We got the Lemon Lavender Scone which was delicious!
