Great scenery of the mountains, local music playing, very cute little fruit shack. The server Jody…read moreand brandy were very nice and super fast with our food. Jody recommended some best sellers which was the turkey panini and the sugar cane drink which was amazing. They are very polite and quick to make the delicious food. Their menu has so much to choose from and I it was hard to pick just one thing. Their banana delight is to die for along with the panini sandwich. The burrito was different from what I was expecting but it was pretty good. If you come here I recommend the panini sandwich, the banana delight and the sugar cane drink. Perfect for a day after a long hike or swim at the beach. It is very hard to miss it is on the side of the road with lots of scenery facing the mountains. The only flaw I could think of is that the bread for the turkey panini was a little on the hard side when toasted but it is understandable considering how busy they are! *update had their panini sandwich again and it was to die for I think the bread was only hard that time because there was a long line of customers!*

Smoothies are reasonably priced ($8.50-$10) and service was fast. The tasty tropical smoothie was SO TASTY (mango, pineapple, papaya, banana, guava juice). Came here around 2 on a Wednesday afternoon post hiking, and this hit the spot!

Sucks that we only discovered this place on our last day, would have come daily had we known. Sonesta and Marriott guests, DON'T pay the ridiculous prices at the hotel... take a nice walk over to KIND COFFEE to get your fix at and give business to the local business owner. Keep up the great work KIND COFFEE...see you next time!

This was my second favorite coffee shop on the island! The roast is smooth and not overly acidic…read more The syrups are perfectly sweet and not overpowering. The toast selections alone are 5 Star! We enjoyed: -Hawaiian Vanilla Latte - half sweet was the perfect balance -Americano with steamed cream - Kauai Latte-- Maybe I don't know what I'm looking for in a Mac nut syrup but I didn't notice any unique flavors...but it was still delish. But let's talk about the TOAST! They all looked SO GOOD. I narrowed it down to two: the avocado toast deluxe or the eggy toast. The eggy toast is more like an egg salad. Even though I think any time of day is a good time for egg salad, I went with the deluxe because microgreens and pickled red onions have a hold on me. While I've had variations of this toast at home and in my hometown, I've never tried it with chili. My lips were burning a bit, so if you are a sissy with heat, you might want to opt for no or reduced sauce. I left with no regrets...except that I should have come sooner than our last day on Kauai...and I should have grabbed an eggy toast to go!
