By far one of the worst Starbucks we've ever been to. Our first time here was earlier this year on January 16th at around 12:35PM. We had eaten next door at Teddy's Cocina and saw that there was a Starbucks right next door. After finishing our meal, we placed a mobile order and was quoted the typical 4 to 7 minutes. We arrived within that timeframe and it was quite busy inside with several cars in the drive thru. 10 minutes go by and we notice that people that ordered after we arrived inside were getting their drinks before the one drink we ordered. There were a few other mobile order pickups in-store that got their drinks after we arrived. There was a male barista that was prioritizing the drive thru orders and drinks so that was no problem. I believe there was another barista taking orders and prioritizing the drinks for in-house customers. There was a female that was in between making drinks ever so slowly and to make things worse, she had the audacity to talk to her coworkers gossiping about her life instead of making drinks. We waited close to 20 minutes for our drink which was absolutely absurd especially for a Starbucks! I've placed several mobile orders to be picked up at the drive thru between that time and today with little to no problems. Today, I placed an order for a single drink for a drive thru pick-up. The female at the window was extremely unprofessional and seemed like she didn't want to be there. After handing us the drink, she walked away while we were trying to ask for a straw. Usually, baristas will ask you if you want a straw or a stopper for hot drinks but this place doesn't do that, I guess. Also, asked for light ice but the drink was filled more than halfway to the point that there was no drink to consume. The drive thru on average moves very slow and the people here cannot meet the demands of the customers. That female with the terrible attitude also needs to be retrained. I understand you have bad days but she seems to have bad days everyday or simply does not care about her job. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks since it first opened. Everyone has always been super polite especially the drive through employees. Unfortunately, today MIRANDA broke the streak and did not upheld the standard that her co-workers do. So sometimes going through the drive through the internet connection is a little wonky, but the employees ALWAYS help me and move my phone closer to the window and then it works. I explained that MULTIPLE times to Miranda and would not help me. She would not listen to the solution I told has been used multiple times. It finally came up and I mention to her how she would refuse to help but not listening and talking over me. As I'm about to leave in a condescending tone says, "well I hope you have a better day". So I replied with, "next time try listening to the customer" which of course her remark was "you should try listening". Every other employee there would have been respectful and would have said, something along the line "glad it got to work,have a great day". That is the proper response. Sometimes, taking a minute, listening and being kind goes a long way. Normally I would let it go, but it's hard when you had years of great experience at a location and it was a complete opposite. I've been coming to this location for almost a year, whenever I'm in the area w/friends! Inside: It's a really pretty location! Plenty of seating, beautiful, framed artwork on the walls, love the decor, nice choice of music and sometimes, people are working on their laptops! Customer Service: Always friendly and welcoming once you step inside and even when you go through the drive-thru! Love it! The lady serving the drinks is constantly yelling orders. Awful place. You would think it would be a nice coffee shop, but in the background, you hear constant yelling of orders. She has an extremely loud voice, so it's all you really hear and it ruins the experience. I've never been to a Starbucks where they are constantly yelling. You feel like you're at a loud club with all the yelling of order names. Do they know they can call people's name in a normal voice? It used to be one of my favorite rituals: on my way to a nature hike during weekends, I would stop by my favorite Starbucks location, grab a cup of latte and with a smile on a side drive off to joyfully have a good time. It was almost a weekly occurrence. This ritual had been long gone now. Well actually, it was replaced by Alfred, mostly because Starbucks coffee became a disgusting mush that burns the mouth and triggers gag reflexes. I keep giving it a try once in a while , hoping that their beans will improve but it goes straight to trash before even leaving the restaurant. Those who used to love Starbucks could probably remember the smells that were present in their locations. When you entered one of the Starbucks shops, you used to be surrounded mind blinding smell of the amazing coffee beans . How about the atmosphere? Remember dim lights and armchairs ?. All of this is no more. The basically of of most Starbucks locations is now a small wooden table ( or several) and a few uncomfortable wooden chairs. It's no longer appealing to spend time here. As for the coffee, the smell of ground coffee, and coffee as such, no longer exists in Starbucks. It just isn't there. I don't know what goes into the grind and ends up in the cups of customers like me. But it is definitely a far cry from what used to be called coffee. Now it has just become unbearable, stale, cheap crap that is still somehow on the menu of this useless cafe. The quality of the products has fallen, but the prices keep going up. A cup of latte, that once was $3.99, now costs $6. I'm not ready to spend my money on this nonsense anymore. I hope other restaurants like Alfred Coffee, thatreally know how to make coffee well and deliciously, will start to appear in Los Angeles Where I can and will gladly buy a tasty cup of espresso. read more

I come to this location quite a bit for pickup orders. But on Monday 3/25 I came in to study with a friend and wow.... This day, whoever was working the afternoon/closing shift, decided it would be club day. They were blasting the music so loud, you could hear their own speakers were blown out. I took a video of how loud it was so i could show my husband when I got home, but he ended up calling me and mid conversation he said "where are you? at a club?" I mean that's funny, but also annoying. I had to put in my headphones and listen to study music to try to drown it out. The staff were very nice during interactions, but I'm sure they know that was unacceptably loud for their customers. -also, this location usually messes up our drinks and every single time I order breakfast burritos, they are still frozen. We come because it's the closest to our house but we really have to cross our fingers that things are right. Come here if you have to, check your drink before you leave. They honestly never disappoint me whenever I come here, packaging was well done when ordering through postmates, they seal the bag for safety precautions and package the food very well. 10/10 if you guys haven't gone to Starbucks you have to try it at least once! This location always has the greatest drive thru window workers. They have such bright personalities. Saturday night's winner is Michelle. Her personality is just the sweetest. The barista filling the orders was a blur of motion. Moving so fast, did not get her name. I have never seen a barista move so fast filling orders quickly and accurately. Been to this location a couple of times already, but most recently I went there yesterday with a friend. The staff here are friendly and helpful, especially when I have questions about new items. This time around I went for the Horchata Almondmilk that was supposed to be a Frapp, but asked for no coffee to be put in it. She said this would be similar to asking for a smoothie version since the only smoothie they had was the Strawberry Banana one, which my friend got. We waited not to long for our drinks and once we got them, we were excited to try them out since we had diverged from our usual orders. So mine had a texture of a slushy and tasted like watered down Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk while my friend said she could taste neither the strawberry or banana in her drink. But out of nowhere, after ordering my sandwich from Jersey Mike's I decided to go for a cold drink, I went with a mango dragon fruit lemonade. This location allows walk ins now. I came in and wow the floor look like a maze with lines taped and circle to stand for social distancing and plexiglass to protect the workers at the cashier. Can I just say I LOVE this location?! This is one of my fav Starbucks' over here when I come to get my lashes done with my lash girl. Y'all always make my drinks right (& I'm super picky cause I worked at starbucks up to just a couple of weeks ago). Also, everyone complaining about a shaken ESPRESSO (learn how to spell) with the light ice, it is an EXTRA ICE BASED DRINK. We have a weekly update on it and if ppl want light ice & more milk, we are asked to charge "add dairy." Don't blame the workers, blame Starbucks Company! Some stores do a great job adapting to pandemic protections while still providing great customer service, while others do not. At the time of this review, this store falls into the "service sucks" category. They are currently "drive thru only". Despite being slow, they still mess up drinks. I paid good money for my eggnog frap. They gave me creme one instead of the caffeine one. Since they are slow, the drive thru line was loong. Thus, I knocked on the door. A lady answered and let me know I interrupted her break. I asked for her to assist me in having the correct drink made. She told me to get back in the drive thru line. Ok, so I have to be double inconvenienced by your mistake?! You see how you're opening the door? You see how I am outside with my mask on? Please remake the correct drink so I can peace out. She finally agreed to remake the drink. They made my drink and forgot the nutmeg each time. . Starbucks is an experience. For however long, this area was an eyesore. There would be mounds of dirt, bulldozers, utility trucks, and a chain-link fence encapsulating the whole area. It's nice to finally see that this part of City of Industry is booming. This locations has been open since September and I decided to redeem my free drink award (great to be a gold star member) here! Drive thru: Yes Cerritos! Very convenient for people that don't want to get out of the car, but the wait might be long. Location/Parking: Right across the street from Chevron gas station and Jack in the box. Parking is ample! Ambiance/Decor: Typical ambiance of any other Starbucks, but the only difference is that they don't blast their A/C here. I feel that they can maximize their floor space more and add more tables for patrons to sit. Service: Loved the service! The baristas were very friendly and attentive. Drink came out fast. Drink: I had the iced citrus green tea latte. I thought it was okay. Didn't have enough citrus flavor, but it was corrected perfectly! Just ask for extra citrus juice/syrup. read more

New Starbucks on Crossroads may be my favorite. Service is great, they have a drive-thru for those early morning drives towards LA [without having to drive backwards]. Inside the place has plenty of seating and plugs everywhere, although my new laptop currently gets me more that 4 hours of use before the battery becomes an issue. The service was great, they knew exactly what I wanted when I asked for my Pike on ice. Music is loud enough to hear but not overwhelming like some other Starbucks [Valley & Hacienda].
