Love the staff here and the energy. The place is always clean, easy to do work, and simple a great community. I always come here around 6am and leave at 2:30pm, a pretty long day but I love the staff here and how quiet it gets in the morning! Parking is easy and free. I come to this Starbucks all the time, but today was different. I was having a very bad morning and went through the drive thru. Lately when coming here I come towards the afternoon and honestly hasn't been a great experience. But today Max, I believe was the baristas name, was amazing. They spoke to me just kindly and asked what my day was like, had a simple conversation with me. Shout out to the Starbucks Store Manager here who from the time I walked in, didn't stop cleaning, greeting, motivating, and managing his team. He even knew that it was one of his employee's birthday, when he greeted her by placing the broom aside to give her a succession of light fist pumps. For employees who may look at managers with a less than enthusiastic viewpoint, I might mention that there isn't a surplus of managers who show this level of work ethic and encouragement at work. This Starbucks is a good location in the valley. I have the option to go one that's closer to me but I prefer this location because they accept my star rewards. Now don't get it twisted. I love me some local coffee shops but sometimes I just need a quick fix with a convenient drive thru option. Since it's near Boeing, Blue Origin, and the Amazon fulfillment center I'm sure the drive thru line is super busy during the workweek. I only show up on the weekends and the drive thru line isn't bad. It's not one of their unique locations like the Reserve on Cap Hill, the 40th floor at Columbia Tower, the one off Interurban that's open till midnight, or the one that's made of shipping containers off Marginal Way (although I heard it's closed now) but they're reliable. I like that they have a lot of parking and it's fairly quiet on Saturdays and Sundays. Once you're in the parking lot it may look like you're driving to a Kickboxing gym but just know the drive thru is on the south side and the walk-in entrance is on the north side. read more

Never coming back to this location I am here in the morning multiple times a week for coffee before work and I do a mobile order every time. I always order a grande each time and I add syrup for that specific size each time. And every time I come to this location my drink is in a Venti cup and all my flavoring in it is so off because they put so much coffee in and I never even finish my drink, having it all go to waste. And I don't know if they do this to make somebody's day but it's really annoying I don't think I'll be back to this location. read more

I am not sure if it is because there are too many starbucks in Washington so they got out of hand to handle or they actually don't care as long as someone works there. There is one rude staff I met and because I saw her more than few times now I realize it's just her that being rude to people. I hope Starbucks get the idea of teamwork and make sure all their staffs are on the same page. Customer service is important and one order is all it takes for customer to judge. I ordered the new Chile mocha today and the rude staff placed my order with an annoyed attitude and a tone of "hurry up I am busy" to finish my order. There was nobody behind me, the other staffs was busy making orders AND answering drive thru orders still maintained their manners. No excuse for that one staff to be rude and all. I don't typically ever go to Starbucks for coffee because I honestly can't stand the taste. This location is very close to my work, the drive-thru line gets really long after 9A & stays long until after lunch. You're better off with parking & walking in to get your order. The girls are always nice here, i've always walked out with a positive experience. I normally just go in for an iced tea. I did try to new S'mores frappe today though & it was pretty delicious. I am flabbergasted. I have always had good service at this place until now. REALLY hoping this was an honest mistake, but I don't know. I would THINK that cash registers tell the baristas how much change to give the customers. In turn, the barista takes the honest amount of tip they are told, not $5 extra. I suppose it's partly my fault for not checking my change before I left, but she didn't count it out to me, and I assumed it was correct. There were the correct number of bills I had counted in my head should be there, just the wrong ones. Instead of the $2 in a tip I told her to take, she took $7. A few nice people, but during a morning rush, the one person at the counter seemed new and unaware that a clearly ESL customer might not realize a grande latte comes with two shots, so she downgraded her to one! Then, in this same employee's rush, she walked away without acknowledging me (which didn't irk me at first), but then came back to heatedly say, "It's gonna be a minute." I was literally just standing there with a soft smile, staring into space, holding my cup at the ready with the lid off for a quick refill. Why you gotta yell at me? I rarely give 2's, but the other staff warranted a 3.5, and even though the employee jumped down my throat, she was new and struggling with the rush. So I know two stars is harsh, but they really ticked me off yesterday. It seems like lately, the starbucks quality has been on the decline. I don't know if the baristas are not being properly trained, but I don't think the service i received was adequate. I ordered a grande, one pump sf vanilla americano with room, and also a spinach feta wrap. I had to pee really bad so after I ordered I used the bathroom very quickly. Usually when it's ready they call it and set it on the counter. I came out and I see a lady holding a feta wrap in the air but just as I walk over she turns and hands it to someone sitting at the drive through. I thought, surely she didn't just give that away, I seriously took 30 seconds to pee and wash my hands. I wait on my drink and when it comes up, I go to put milk in it, but it's filled to the top. I take it back and say very nicely that I had asked for room. She said oh ok, takes it and dumps part of it out. Hold on a second.....why is it that you screw up my drink by putting too much water in it, and then you dump a quarter of it out after I tell you I need room. There goes part of my espresso which i paid good money for. Sorry, but Starbucks isn't cheap. You screwed up my drink, make me a new one, not just dump out part of it so my Americano is now cold and watered down. I asked about my spinach wrap and the lady who took my order said hey where is her wrap? The lady working drive through goes, well I called it and noone claimed it so I gave it to someone in drive through. Whatever, they made me a new one. As far as the standard goes for what makes a decent Starbucks, a decent Starbucks, this one hits the mark. They greet their customers with very energetic greetings, take their orders and then serve with about 85% accuracy. Its busy. There's a rush. You heard this when you should have heard that. It happens. Thing is though: Starbucks customers are some of the most particular, do it wrong and I'll glaze your toilet seat with super glue customers that it can be almost intimidating to take some of these orders. But the review isn't about the customers. Or is it. Maybe it is. It's not. The conflict, and where the three stars come from, is the fact that the service is less than stellar. Their drink creating technique is more than well-enough, but I'm not a huge fan of being chastised when I say something wrong or suggest something that can't be done. I'm not a Starbucks Customer for Life nor am I one for Half-Life. However, I am a customer and don't want to walk out feeling like I disappointed my mother. The lattes though? Yessir. read more

My favorite location because the workers are so nice, it's close to a gas station, and it's close to a freeway. Great place to study, great place to read leisurely. There's always a business interview going on so I find it a really fun place to eavesdrop. They have a drive thru and service there is nice too. Wow, never been treated so poorly at a Starbucks before! Ordered via the mobile app on Labor Day because we were in a hurry to make a softball game, and decided to swing through the drive through since there was no line. When we pulled up at the window we got no greeting except "if you ordered on the mobile app, your stuff isn't ready yet.. We JUST got that order." Um, ok. While making the drinks, she decides to school us and the employees working on our coffee about the purpose of the mobile app. According to smarty pants, the app is NOT intended for drive thru orders, it is for walk-ins. I honestly don't usually like Starbucks because the coffee usually tastes burnt, and it feels pretty impersonal with that whole chain corporation bit. this place, though always has the nicest cashier or baristas. they always make comfortable small talk, whether it's talking about hair products or noticing something I'm wearing. the seating area isn't groundbreaking, but it has plenty of places near wall plug ins, which is nice for when I come here to work on projects. for the most part, patrons are made up of workers from the office district surrounding it, so it may feel like the dress code is working attire, but I always come in shorts and don't feel awkward. read more

I love Starbucks and am not afraid to admit I am a huge fan. I stopped at this location when I arrived an hour early for a meeting nearby. I decided to go in and get a seat to enjoy my drink. They had one of the best looking seating areas around! There were big comfy chairs in a corner and a few tables with space between them so you're not crammed on top of other customers. It felt very open and inviting. The staff were friendly and had quite a system down for such a busy Starbucks. I brought in my reusable cup, which I had wiped out hastily from my drive time coffee and the barista noticed and cleaned it out for me. I appreciate the small signs showing that they pay attention to the details. There was plenty of parking and a drive through for the people on the go. Perfect vanilla spice latte! read more

There was a mixup between the available $3 frap after 2pm promotion and the guy at the drive through was a little too quick to blame "false advertising" but once he finally said "well come around inside and my manager will take care of you," she definitely blew it out of the water by how friendly she was. The Good 1) This location has GOOGLE wifi. Extremely fast if you want to surf and hang out while enjoying a good cup of coffee. Most Starbucks has At and T which are fast, but not as fast as Google. 2) Lots of outlets for charging your laptops or smartphones. The Bad. Service is a hit and miss and not consistent. Today for example, I was waiting for an order of Iced Coffee. Simplest order, you just pour it in a cup, just like brewed coffee (unless you are out, and need to re brew). There was only 3 orders of beverages ahead of me, 1 iced green tea (again, a pour order) and two lattes. I waited almost 8 minutes. Maybe they are not staffed for the weekend, or different quality staff. The last time I was here was a weekday. And there was a line. It was very fast. read more

The reason that I am willing to pay Starbucks prices is because they make a consistently good cup of coffee. I also love that they are fast and friendly. Not so much today. I generally don't stop on my way to work, but the power was out today and I felt so much stress from this experience that I thought I should reward myself on the way into work with Starbucks. I ordered my usual grande americano with light ice and light cream. Yeah on the cream, boo on the ice. Americano's are hot. Light ice means a few cubes so I can actually drink it before noon. The one I received was almost cold so "light ice" was a fail. I was pleased with the service at the ordering screen, pleased with the greeting, etc. At the window, I was just someone waiting for my coffee. No greeting, no thank you. The gal stood there chatting with another employee while I looked happily at them just sure they would say SOMETHING to me. Nope. She handed me my coffee and away I went. I was disappointed that I didn't get the usual "here you go, have a great day" Call me selfish and self centered. Go ahead. I'll just drink my cold coffee and sulk a little longer. read more

This was a great location with great and friendly service. Perhaps a little bigger than your average Starbucks. They had plenty of seating. The tables and chairs were much more comfortable than your typical Starbucks table and chairs. I was with a group of 6 and we had a short meeting. Was a great atmosphere and was plenty big enough that our table of was not crowded nor were we overpowered by all the typical noise of the grinders and blenders in operation.
