This Starbucks is inside the Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center and has a drive thru. The line for the drive thru was long, maybe 10 cars so I decided to park and walk inside. The person who took my order was wearing a headset so I assumed they were also doing the drive thru orders at the same time. I placed my order with them and waited under 5 minutes. I got the mango strawberry refresher and a cheese danish. The staff are efficient here! There are 4 tables with chairs for seating inside but all the tables were taken so I took my items to go. The interiors of the shop were clean and well lit. The area where the baristas make the drinks was a modern design with the white counter tops, it's very different from the locations in town (Honolulu) that use wood. read more

I waited 30 mins for a singular cortado , nobody asked what i was waiting for until the girl at the drive thru had a chance to ask what i was waiting for. i told her and she double checks with her workers and it was at the DRIVE THRU counter this whole time. Not my first round... At this Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center location which is very prominent though not the regular spot for me to visit as the parking does make it hard but since I was in the area though to give them another visit though this location does have a drive thru that many seem to take full advantage of I really wanted to walk in since it's been awhile. Inside is pretty minimalist as it's decently spacious there was just a few seating though the counter space is quite long and spacious but the staff is so nice and friendly and it was actually a very nice and relaxing spot probably since it's not part of a huge mall but with my Iced Cherry Chai Latte was made fast and perfect I do see myself visiting this chill spot away from the crowds for a nice personal quite time with my sip. Thank you! read more

David working the drive-thru is awesome! Super friendly and he asked me about my weekend plans. Long story short I'm a first time mom with a 4 month old and I was exhausted. That small friendly interaction was just what I needed to pep me up read more

Not one of my favorite locations. After ordering our drinks, my husband and I waited and waited and waited. Who doesn't luv a Starbucks drive-through? I wish there was one in my neighborhood, as a retired I'd be there everyday maybe twice a day. I frequent this particular one when I'm taking Sofie to VCA up the street and when I have plenty of time because on days like today the line can be ten cars long snaking through the parking lot. Her vet doc, Dr Greg Levine, goes above and beyond to help keep my little furbaby in the best health and we always stop here to get him a Grande Soy Latte (hot) with an extra shot as his treat. Some days it's a four car wait, others quite a bit longer. Not everyone uses the drive through, there's a huge parking lot which is usually full because there's also a Jamba in the same building. The line move as fast as it can given the orders placed. I'm a fan of the Starbucks app and wallet card as I get a number of gift cards and can just add them in. Always a pleasant experience made better by pleasant people doing the best they can. read more

This place makes our drinks really good. The online ordering and drive thru is very convenient for us. We always go here instead of other Starbucks but lately the service is really bad. The food was ready quickly and the staff were friendly. Parking was easy. Limited seating, though not too crowded.

I miss the old design. First time back after renovation. Not liking the new layout. I do wish the bakery display was back. Not liking the pics. Makes it seem the bakery items are not fresh. The inside color is so clinical. read more

I used to live in Kaneohe and went to this SB for a long time and the workers was awesome , friendly , energetic and always smiling . I moved out of Kaneohe 5 yrs ago. I now work in Kaneohe for the past year been to this SB 4x and the morning crew GIRLS now that works there is RUDE, not friendly (bitchy) no smiles . I say thank you when I picked up my order ... nothing ! Just looked at me and said not one word. No you're welcome. went to get a few drinks this morning and everyone was pleasant except for 1 barista. I unfortunately didn't get her name, but she is caucasian. Not friendly AT ALL, and chewing gum obnoxiously. Zero stars. Jadnt come here on a long while as food not cookedvproperly. People are rude and have mo semse of customrr service. This time i tried tomato mozerella sandwich at 12 pm on a Tuesday JAug 4th. You can see the mozerella has completely melted into the bread. Its buffalo mozzerella so u dont want to heat it up too much or it will disintegrate to nothing. I said toasted a little bit to the girl. Nobody was in the drive through or in the store. So it wasnt busy. I waited for several minutes at the window as no one was there. My sandwich camre out burning hot. It was too hot to eat. Too hot to even touch. I had to leave it for 15 minutes till it cooled down. Needless to say it was so overcooked it wasnt worth the money i spent. . When i say a little bit toated i expect just to take the chill off. Over and over i have put reviews. I sent two complaints to Starbucks corporate about your blackened egg bites. Money should be given back for selling crappy, burnt, over fooked food. I said i was done with this location. I dont think ill ever return. The owner and corporate dont read reviews. They have never responded to two complaints i sent. Most poor customer service i have seen in my life. Dont care about customers.they have stupidyoung managers that have zero customer service. Saff are NOT trained in how to heat up food properly. Or dont care. They are all like teenagers or early 20s so dont seem to know mucb about hkw to serve food. People are paying money. Please do not support this business because its so poorly run and awful. I have been to Starbucks in Salt Lake and 10x better run store who knkw how to cook food properly. Maybe since your standing right there rather than a drive through they have more respect and care more about what they are serving. Compared to tge dumbasses at this location who are more interested talking to their mothers who cone into the dtore to talk nonsense. read more

Girl that took my order and other girl that gave me my order was rude. I said "thank you very much" and no reply she just kept talking to her coworker. Young workers need to be retrained to have good customer service. I know you're there just for a paycheck and a chit chat but then they get mad when we don't tip. There's a reason I do mobile order ahead is to ensure my order is ready. I put in my order at 602. The app says my order will be ready by 612am. I get there at 626am to be safe and it is not ready...... as a working mom- it's rough when dropping off the kids and trying to keep everything on schedule and the order is so late. Then when I try to provide some feedback so they are aware of how late this order is - so they can figure out what happened - I get attitude response. As a fellow business owner I was trying to help them assess their systems to see what happened but clearly the Person I spoke to didn't care. I left without my drink. :( read more

We ordered our coffee drinks through our app. An Americano (customized with classic syrup and whipped cream), Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso , everything bagel with cream cheese and a chocolate croissant. It was ready to go as noted on the app. So service was pretty prompt. However the drinks were very disappointing. I took a sip of my Americano and it was lukewarm. The second sip confirmed it. I went back into the store and requested a remake. My daughter had the iced drink. She customized it for 2 espresso shots instead of three. She said it didn't taste shaken and seemed to taste more of the milk and not coffee however she didn't want to have a remake on hers. Both our drinks were grande size. The bagel was fine and the chocolate croissant was ok. We rarely stop at this Starbucks as there is another one closer to where we live and that one is great. The baristas there are always friendly. At this one not too many smiles. We just happened to be shopping at the pet store nearby and wanted to have some morning coffee but sadly to say the coffee and ambiance was not at its best. read more

I wasn't going to write this review, but I just lost almost $50 on a gift card, so now I'm writing. This Starbucks used to be amazing. However, the other day, I drove up and ordered a grande iced mocha with soy. The reply? "A venti what?" I repeated my order. "Okay, a grande latte?" I replied, "No, mocha." The server never asked whether or not I wanted whipped cream. I drove to the window and handed the server two cards. I clearly held out the first one and said, "Kill this one first and put the balance on the other card." He put the cards IN HIS SAME HAND, held up the $50 card to the scanner and in one beep, he had used THE WRONG CARD. He wrapped up the supposedly $50 card with the receipt and apologized for using the wrong card. I honestly almost made him redo the transaction the correct way, but I didn't have the heart to do that to the people behind me. He handed my mocha WITH UNORDERED WHIPPED CREAM and the wrapped card with the receipt and the still unused card with $3 on it, even though I told him to throw the $3 card away! I went home upset and threw away the supposed $3 card. A few minutes ago, I went to the airport Starbucks, one of the ones by Hawaiian Airlines. I gave my order and handed the server my card with still $40+ on it. She said, "This card only has $3 on it, so you owe me $8!" The server in Kaneohe WRAPPED THE WRONG CARD IN THE RECEIPT!!! His error cost me almost $50. I paid the difference here, no problem. But I feel like going back to this Starbucks when I return and INSISTING on a new card with at least $40 on it. read more

Good service everybody is so nice and always has a smile . I come here every other day and not once I was disappointed .

This is the time of year that I go to Starbucks, pumpkin spice latte season. I order no whip cream for me every order. I expect my hot pumpkin spice latte to have the foam. I've never had to specify "with foam" before. I guess I will have to from now on. This time I ordered a pumpkin spice latte frappe with cold foam, no whip cream, 2 hot pumpkin spice latte, and a mocha frappe with whip cream, all drinks fat free, all venti. Three of the 4 drinks were as ordered, bummed that I had no foam on my hot drinks, but I guess it's only with milk. My pumpkin spice frappe was more than half foam, at least that's what I thought, until I pulled out my straw to lick the foam. The first thing I noticed was how thick the foam was. Cold foam has body, but not this thick and creamy foam I was licking. It tasted like whip cream, looked like whip cream, and when my husband and I compared my foam to his whip cream, it was whip cream. I think they made a mistake, strired it up to camouflage it and poured cold foam on top of it so the bubble texture on the cover made it look like 'no whip cream. They're supposed to throw away the mistake and make a new one. Not pono Starbucks. Store #21047 Kaneohe. Starbucks Drive Thru 09/07/2024. 05:37pm It was 4 drinks for $20, so maybe I shouldn't complain. But last week I ordered my pumpkin spice frappe with cold foam at Starbucks Waimalu and it was also 4 drinks for $20. The frappe was perfect and I expect all stores to be the same. They were courteous and the store was clean. read more

The past 3 times I've come to this location my drink has either been made incorrectly or I've just been given the completely wrong drink. Today, I ordered an Irish cream cold brew, and was given a vanilla sweet cream cold brew? A different barista ended up remaking my order and handed me an Irish cream cold brew that was all mixed together, instead of layered like normal. I totally understand that sometimes people make mistakes but if this has happened 3+ visits in a row... something is going wrong. Maybe there needs to be a retraining? The employees have always been pleasant, just wish the drinks were on par with the other Starbucks locations on the island! read more

My daily patronage is not exactly an endorsement of the product. I consider myself a reluctant consumer of Starbucks goods. In fact there isn't a single item on the menu about which I feel genuinely enthusiastic. I shudder each time that I surrender $2.77 of my hard-earned tender for a small - or, as the indoctrinated say, a "Tall"- cup of Pike Roast (and it's ALWAYS ONLY Pike Roast on tap). No hyperbole intended; it is a literal surrender. I have the ability to take my dollar elsewhere, but I don't. I grin and bear the outrageous price of a bland beverage generated instantly by a mechanical urn. Or I tolerate the frustrated expression that often results from my request for a pour-over of any flavor other than Pike Roast. Why, then, with all of the agency of a modern consumer, do I countenance this? I suppose it's because of what I refer to as the "opportunity savings" available at Starbucks. By this I mean the advantages accrued from opportunities generally unrelated to the physical products purveyed by the caffeine monolith: the free high-speed WiFi, the comfortable seating, the unpretentious staff who permit me to loiter in their "cafe" even after finishing my beverage, and perhaps most importantly the extremely humane open restroom policy. On the very latter, I live in an area of Hawaii where transience and homelessness abound. At all three of the Starbucks cafes that I frequent in the neighborhood, the staff provide free ice water and bathroom access to anyone in need, regardless of ability to pay. I've literally never seen an individual turned away or treated indifferently for requesting either. I understand this practice may be corporate policy following a few high profile incidents of discrimination. Whether or not it's an act of corporate penance, I'm moved by it. Now that I think about it, $2.77 is a small price to pay for hot coffee and a bit of humanity in a cold world. read more
