This Starbucks is inside the Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center and has a drive thru. The line for the drive thru was long, maybe 10 cars so I decided to park and walk inside. The person who took my order was wearing a headset so I assumed they were also doing the drive thru orders at the same time. I placed my order with them and waited under 5 minutes. I got the mango strawberry refresher and a cheese danish. The staff are efficient here! There are 4 tables with chairs for seating inside but all the tables were taken so I took my items to go. The interiors of the shop were clean and well lit. The area where the baristas make the drinks was a modern design with the white counter tops, it's very different from the locations in town (Honolulu) that use wood. read more

At this Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center location which is very prominent though not the regular spot for me to visit as the parking does make it hard but since I was in the area though to give them another visit though this location does have a drive thru that many seem to take full advantage of I really wanted to walk in since it's been awhile. Inside is pretty minimalist as it's decently spacious there was just a few seating though the counter space is quite long and spacious but the staff is so nice and friendly and it was actually a very nice and relaxing spot probably since it's not part of a huge mall but with my Iced Cherry Chai Latte was made fast and perfect I do see myself visiting this chill spot away from the crowds for a nice personal quite time with my sip. Who doesn't luv a Starbucks drive-through? I wish there was one in my neighborhood, as a retired I'd be there everyday maybe twice a day. I frequent this particular one when I'm taking Sofie to VCA up the street and when I have plenty of time because on days like today the line can be ten cars long snaking through the parking lot. Her vet doc, Dr Greg Levine, goes above and beyond to help keep my little furbaby in the best health and we always stop here to get him a Grande Soy Latte (hot) with an extra shot as his treat. Some days it's a four car wait, others quite a bit longer. Not everyone uses the drive through, there's a huge parking lot which is usually full because there's also a Jamba in the same building. The line move as fast as it can given the orders placed. I'm a fan of the Starbucks app and wallet card as I get a number of gift cards and can just add them in. Always a pleasant experience made better by pleasant people doing the best they can. read more

Zero stars. Jadnt come here on a long while as food not cookedvproperly. People are rude and have mo semse of customrr service. This time i tried tomato mozerella sandwich at 12 pm on a Tuesday JAug 4th. You can see the mozerella has completely melted into the bread. There's a reason I do mobile order ahead is to ensure my order is ready. I put in my order at 602. The app says my order will be ready by 612am. I get there at 626am to be safe and it is not ready...... as a working mom- it's rough when dropping off the kids and trying to keep everything on schedule and the order is so late. Then when I try to provide some feedback so they are aware of how late this order is - so they can figure out what happened - I get attitude response. As a fellow business owner I was trying to help them assess their systems to see what happened but clearly the Person I spoke to didn't care. I left without my drink. :( read more

We ordered our coffee drinks through our app. An Americano (customized with classic syrup and whipped cream), Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso , everything bagel with cream cheese and a chocolate croissant. It was ready to go as noted on the app. So service was pretty prompt. However the drinks were very disappointing. I took a sip of my Americano and it was lukewarm. The second sip confirmed it. I went back into the store and requested a remake. My daughter had the iced drink. She customized it for 2 espresso shots instead of three. She said it didn't taste shaken and seemed to taste more of the milk and not coffee however she didn't want to have a remake on hers. Both our drinks were grande size. The bagel was fine and the chocolate croissant was ok. We rarely stop at this Starbucks as there is another one closer to where we live and that one is great. The baristas there are always friendly. At this one not too many smiles. This is the time of year that I go to Starbucks, pumpkin spice latte season. I order no whip cream for me every order. I expect my hot pumpkin spice latte to have the foam. I've never had to specify "with foam" before. I guess I will have to from now on. This time I ordered a pumpkin spice latte frappe with cold foam, no whip cream, 2 hot pumpkin spice latte, and a mocha frappe with whip cream, all drinks fat free, all venti. Three of the 4 drinks were as ordered, bummed that I had no foam on my hot drinks, but I guess it's only with milk. My pumpkin spice frappe was more than half foam, at least that's what I thought, until I pulled out my straw to lick the foam. The first thing I noticed was how thick the foam was. Cold foam has body, but not this thick and creamy foam I was licking. It tasted like whip cream, looked like whip cream, and when my husband and I compared my foam to his whip cream, it was whip cream. I think they made a mistake, strired it up to camouflage it and poured cold foam on top of it so the bubble texture on the cover made it look like 'no whip cream. I wasn't going to write this review, but I just lost almost $50 on a gift card, so now I'm writing. This Starbucks used to be amazing. However, the other day, I drove up and ordered a grande iced mocha with soy. The reply? "A venti what?" I repeated my order. "Okay, a grande latte?" I replied, "No, mocha." The server never asked whether or not I wanted whipped cream. I drove to the window and handed the server two cards. I clearly held out the first one and said, "Kill this one first and put the balance on the other card." He put the cards IN HIS SAME HAND, held up the $50 card to the scanner and in one beep, he had used THE WRONG CARD. He wrapped up the supposedly $50 card with the receipt and apologized for using the wrong card. I honestly almost made him redo the transaction the correct way, but I didn't have the heart to do that to the people behind me. He handed my mocha WITH UNORDERED WHIPPED CREAM and the wrapped card with the receipt and the still unused card with $3 on it, even though I told him to throw the $3 card away! I went home upset and threw away the supposed $3 card. A few minutes ago, I went to the airport Starbucks, one of the ones by Hawaiian Airlines. I gave my order and handed the server my card with still $40+ on it. She said, "This card only has $3 on it, so you owe me $8!" The server in Kaneohe WRAPPED THE WRONG CARD IN THE RECEIPT!!! His error cost me almost $50. I paid the difference here, no problem. But I feel like going back to this Starbucks when I return and INSISTING on a new card with at least $40 on it. read more

The past 3 times I've come to this location my drink has either been made incorrectly or I've just been given the completely wrong drink. Today, I ordered an Irish cream cold brew, and was given a vanilla sweet cream cold brew? A different barista ended up remaking my order and handed me an Irish cream cold brew that was all mixed together, instead of layered like normal. My daily patronage is not exactly an endorsement of the product. I consider myself a reluctant consumer of Starbucks goods. In fact there isn't a single item on the menu about which I feel genuinely enthusiastic. I shudder each time that I surrender $2.77 of my hard-earned tender for a small - or, as the indoctrinated say, a "Tall"- cup of Pike Roast (and it's ALWAYS ONLY Pike Roast on tap). No hyperbole intended; it is a literal surrender. I have the ability to take my dollar elsewhere, but I don't. I grin and bear the outrageous price of a bland beverage generated instantly by a mechanical urn. Or I tolerate the frustrated expression that often results from my request for a pour-over of any flavor other than Pike Roast. Why, then, with all of the agency of a modern consumer, do I countenance this? I suppose it's because of what I refer to as the "opportunity savings" available at Starbucks. By this I mean the advantages accrued from opportunities generally unrelated to the physical products purveyed by the caffeine monolith: the free high-speed WiFi, the comfortable seating, the unpretentious staff who permit me to loiter in their "cafe" even after finishing my beverage, and perhaps most importantly the extremely humane open restroom policy. On the very latter, I live in an area of Hawaii where transience and homelessness abound. At all three of the Starbucks cafes that I frequent in the neighborhood, the staff provide free ice water and bathroom access to anyone in need, regardless of ability to pay. I've literally never seen an individual turned away or treated indifferently for requesting either. I understand this practice may be corporate policy following a few high profile incidents of discrimination. Whether or not it's an act of corporate penance, I'm moved by it. Now that I think about it, $2.77 is a small price to pay for hot coffee and a bit of humanity in a cold world. read more
