I am so surprised I haven't written a review for this location! This is the original Starbucks that has been in Kalispell the longest. It is at such a convenient spot because it is right near most of the major shopping centers in Kalispell. I have had to change what I can order since switching to not eating dairy and that has been a major struggle since my favorite menu items always contained some degree of dairy in them. I recently inquired about sugar free syrups and was surprised to find out that the sugar free mocha doesn't have dairy so for anyone that is lactose intolerant that might be good to know. They have more sugar free syrups than I remember when I used to order sugar free- it has been a while so it is good to see they have added new variety. They have coconut milk and almond milk which is nice for people who are lactose intolerant, vegan, or just like to avoid dairy. I know for a long time they only had soy as an option, and it can depend on what location you go to if they have almond both almond milk and coconut milk. I wish that they would get the coconut milk creamer which is made from a base of coconut cream so it is way creamier than regular coconut milk. I always feel like when getting the regular soy or coconut milk it can taste watered down even if not intentionally. I used to always get heavy whipping cream with my coffee here and so now to switch to such a dramatic alternative I don't enjoy my coffee as much so I have to doctor it up myself or just avoid getting coffee here altogether. read more

Horrible latte. Tasted like all steam milk ,no coffee. microwaved croissant, turned out like rubber. We thought it would be heated in a toaster oven. the gal must be in learning how to make lattes. waste of money, and not very friendly at all ... never go back there again. read more

We are regular customers. We have coffee like every single day but today is the worst ever. My sister went to pick up and the Girl name Jenny talked so rudeeeeeee. When my sister said that there still a croissant missing, she threw the croissant on the table and give the face. Why? We spend money for that not asking you working for our food. You should learn how to treat customers right. I don't know if my comments will reach out to manager or not but if you can read this don't let it happen to another customer which we don't deserve this. read more

2.5 Stars. It's Starbucks nothing special at all. The ONLY reason why I'm here is because I left my coffee on the roof of my car and drove away, so I settled. With Covid - 19 nothing is open inside so you have to settle sitting in the Montana brisk cold air if you choose to "dine in". read more

Anna at the register is getting a well deserved shoutout from my wife and I. It's a part of the coffee game that we're aware of - sometimes your drink just isn't made how you're used to. It's nobody's fault, it's just not always made how you like. That happened with our order of a Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, and we just couldn't enjoy it. So I usually just go back and ask for something else. Well Anna gave me no hassle there, and she could actually tell what was wrong with my drink (it didn't have enough oat milk) and she gave me some to mix into the drink. A little attentiveness on her side helped me to just fix the drink to perfection, and it made the experience much less stressful, as I am always uncomfortable asking for a remake. She was super kind and the rest of the staff there matched her energy as well. Very appreciated, good experience. read more

This Starbucks is a run of the mill Starbucks. The service was a 2 out of 5. The staff was slow and not engaged with the customers. It took 15 min to take one ladies order...... Then they messed up my order twice and gave me an attitude. My 3 year old niece was with me and the girl just flung the hot chocolate towards her instead of ensuring she had it. The cleanliness was a 2.5 out of 5. The garbage a were over full and there was milk and sugar all over the counter. The staff needs retrained or possibly they need to just be let go and get someone that wants to work and loves the awesome benefits Starbucks offers. read more

The service here has gone downhill big time! Do not count on good customer service if visiting here. Today was my last straw as I stood there for over 7 min while my drink was behind the wall, the girl walked by made eye contact with me multiple times and didn't seem to think, "oh sorry you're standing there is this for you? Or saying my name on the cup or the drink itself" they are horsing around behind the coffee bar completely oblivious. I am always a respectful customer and the girls in here didn't greet, just stood there staring at me instead of asking for my drink order. It's all small things but I am in sales and I would never treat someone the way I was treated or nonetheless ignored from this location. Thank goodness for Starbucks in Target. This is basically your typical Starbucks layout place. Nice pictures up, a few seating options, a fireplace... Cozy The coffee is as expected. Never too busy so you don't have to wait in crazy lines like I've seen at some Starbucks locations around the country. read more

I always have a great experience with this Starbucks. Super sweet gal named Olivia, best Barista I've encountered here. Everyone is great, but she seems to love her job and is always happy to help. My coffee is mostly consistent. I do find that it doesn't quite taste the same based on who makes it. Typically I am in twice a day, early to mid morning and again late afternoon. My early coffee is more consistent than afternoon, perhaps some training is needed? Atmosphere is generally happy, the lobby is typically too cold for me, I'd like to take my jacket off and relax. I give this location a four star due to the consistent great service I receive. read more

You ladies killed it this morning! I am a frequent flyer to this location as I work close by. I typically use the drive thru and I'm in and out within 3-5 minutes if not less. The only time I've waited longer is when there is a line and tons of guest inside (which is to be expected). This morning the customers in front of me were so rude and you could tell they were in a hurry, and waiting on the 7 breakfast items they ordered. I wanted to remind the lady that they are heated up in a conventional oven, for at least 3 minutes and when you order that many, you will have to wait. I am sorry for how she acted, and wanted to give you all a HUGE shout out for always being speedy and doing the best you can! Keep it up!! read more

This part of Kalispell (near Highway 93 and Reserve) has become extremely congested in recent years. So, you may need to budget extra time getting in and out of here, depending on time of day and direction traveled. They do have a drive-thru (which I appreciate). Prices, selection, etc. are all standard. The staff are friendly and efficient. read more

I have used this Starbucks several times and EVERY time they have gotten the order wrong. -Warmed pastries are always over cooked. -I order a Chai Tea Latte with 8 pumps and light ice and they get it WRONG EVERY TIME. -My husband orders a Venti White Mocha NO WHIP, when we get it, there is whip cream. Very basic orders and they cannot handle them. Not to mention they are incredibly slow. -When I go to the other Starbucks on Main, they have no problems getting the orders correct. read more

This location has taken a massive turn for the worse this year. It used to be rare they messed up my drink and they were fast. If I had to wait for an excessive amount of time in the drive thru they would give me my coffee for free back in the day. Now they are consistently slow (I'm talking being stuck in the drive thru for 10 min). They mess up my coffee over 50% of the time. Usually more if I order anything other than a mocha or a basic frapp. I ordered their holiday peppermint mocha Frappuccino one day and they had a photo of it posted on their menu. They handed me a drink that was nothing like what I ordered. When I politely inquired, the barista argued and stated it was the drink I ordered. I finally had to pull up a photo from their website to show her....and she stated that the drink I wanted was only slightly different than the one she handed me and asked if it was really important that they fix it for me. She actually said "well would it make you happy if we fixed it?" in the most condescending voice. And when she went back to fix the drink I could hear her complaining to her coworkers about how I didn't just take the one she handed me. And again today they messed up my coffee. If it wasn't nearing $5 for a tiny amount of coffee and a cup full of ice, I might not care so much. But for the prices, they can get the orders right. read more

Usually under staffed. Baristas are generally friendly. The BIGGEST PROBLEM are the large number of FLYS that are INSIDE this Starbucks. This problem has been going on for years. Maybe start selling fly swatters! read more

Gorgeous, delicious flat white. Clean store and everything you want a Starbucks to be. Except...we ordered a kids chocolate milk and they made--and charged me for--a 16 oz chocolate milk, which is not what I ordered. When I pointed this out to the employee, she just shrugged. I had a Christmas gift card here so my wife and I stopped in for an expresso each. The staff was very friendly and gave us their recommendation for coffee flavor. We excepted their recommendation and ordered two of the chestnut praline triple shot expressos. We sat down and enjoyed our drinks. For whatever reason the employees seem to believe every food establishment is infested by fly's and have refused to even try to get rid of them. When I looked over the counter there were flys on the lids and cups they were giving to there customers. Unless you want to sip on a coffee that the flys have got to first do not go to this Starbucks. read more

Apparently it's quite difficult for these employees to get an order correct. My "hot" drink was cold and they gave me the wrong sandwich. As I was in the drive thru, I didn't notice the lack of competence until I was back to work. Their lack of enthusiasm is quite obvious and I will spend my dollars on independent coffee businesses from now on. Starbucks is sooo overrated. Spend your money with your neighbors instead of some egotistical billionaire who thinks he knows what is best for you. Odds are, he has a HUGE wall around his mansion.
