We came here because we wanted our after dinner treat before heading over the Bigfork summer playhouse (aside: it's amazing! We saw Footloose, and our daughter who normally falls asleep since these events are so late, stayed up riveted the whole time). To the reviewer who said the following comment, you get a gold medal: "Montana's SMALLEST scoop of ice cream." You are CORRECT. The portion is freaking tiny. Our daughter got some gross cotton candy flavor that we can't abide, but we went for a huckleberry cup and huckleberry milkshake. The ice cream itself had huckleberries that were so frozen that they crunched unpleasantly--like they had been added from a freezer bag. The milkshake, on the other hand, tasted like pure vanilla because the proportions were all off. Bottom line is that the people have spoken and this place sucks! Two stars. No thank you.

Lots of choices: gelato, shakes, coffees, teas, homemade cakes, cupcakes & pie! The folks here are uber-friendly, engaging & eager to please. Oftentimes you'll be served by the lovely owner/baker herself, Teaghan. My husband, a long-time huckleberry shake connoisseur, had a religious experience with the shake here. I had a slice of the homemade 'Northwest Berry' pie - perfect crust, filled w fresh fruit. We're looking forward to enjoying the whole menu throughout the year. The outdoor patio has seating under the giant trees with a view of Bigfork Bay & people watching on busy days. And, bonus, in addition to the outside area, there's a small seating area/dessert nook with several tables that joins The Marketplace to the Bigfork Inn dining room.
