What can I say!!!! This is the place that stands out from the rest of the coffee shops in Whitefish! Marked the best local coffee, which is roasted the nearby Roastery (if you want a tour they provide this as well). The downtown location is a great place to shop for gifts, meet up with friends for coffee/lunch or just get some remote work done. Be sure to say Hi to JoJo, Andy and Sammi who are some the best and funny people. read more

Great Daily Coffee joint appears to be a beloved institution by the locals. We did partake in the caffeine and breakfast delectables here on multiple days during our stay in Whitefish. We loved the Montana and Grizzly blend coffees. The scones (both sweet and savory) were amazing, but the stand out was the Bocadillo Wrap "This Little Piggy" with bacon, potatoes, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Fantastic. Love the staff and all the goodies to shop through here at the Whitefish location. read more

Not only is their coffee and food delicious but they also sell so many curated gifts (perfect for souvenirs) at great prices. A well worn coffee joint that is attached to the toggery. We stop in at least once when we are in town to grab a coffee and wander.

Updated review because I tried the food and have to take off a star due to the very subpar food. I ordered the breakfast wrap with sausage and the chicken sandwich. The breakfast wrap was decent- nice hearty breakfast with salsa and tapatio to flavor it. The chicken sandwich was pretty dissappointing -the bun was bland and crumbly and nothing special going on with the chicken breast and toppings. I can't believe they sell it for $13. The "chips" side was unexpectedly some store bought tortilla chips which did not compliment the meal at all. Overall, wish they did more with the food menu because there is a lot of potential, especially for tasty grab-and-go sandwiches to nourish hungry hikers/adventureres on their way to Glacier park. Still my #1 spot for specialty coffee in the area but hope they spice up the food menu! read more

Delicious meat quiche which was filled with melty cheese and seemed like a slice of deep dish pizza. My companion had a breakfast wrap which was so hot they could barely eat it. I don't get into the coffee shops these days much since I have coffee at home. My friend and I hiked and decided to go to MCT. I have probably been in 30 times over the years living here. The wait staff is always great. The scones are good today it was Peach French Toast and the coffee decent. The place is clean and lots of things to look at in the way of shopping. read more

Food here is kind of random? They were sold out of the bowl and burrito/wrap which are made fresh to order and would have been my first choice. A friend had the veggie quiche which she liked. Their "oven toasted wraps" were heavy and kind of Philly cheesesteak-esque? I ordered a cappuccino and didn't drink it after tasting 2 sips. It was super hot and tasted burnt and bitter. Our buddy had a cold brew that was good, if I went back I'd probably go that direction with my order. There is a cute store attached and they have some fun gifts inside of the shop but overall it wasn't my fav. read more

I loved MCT. We stopped in here every day for the four days we were in town to visit Glacier. The coffee is very very good and the staff are well-trained and friendly and easily to interact with, happy to make menu suggestions and answer questions. This store is much larger than the location in Columbia about 15 minutes away - it has two entrances and plenty of seating and much more on sale in their "gift shop" part of the store. Fresh baked goodies for sale daily as well as a pretty large menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps, and frappes. I really really love the Jitter Bug blended coffee mocha drink. NOMS! read more

Went here before our day in Glacier National Park. Inside is very cool with some souvenirs and coffee essentials. I ordered the Strawberry smoothie and it was decent. I also ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. If you would like to wait 25 minutes for a bagel that they don't even put the cream cheese on, look no further than Montana Coffee Traders. They make a perfect London Fog hot tea drink. I got it twice while vacationing here this week. We also had breakfast there today. We shared the breakfast sausage quiche (you have got to try this!) and a lemon blueberry scone. The quiche was absolutely jam jacked with sausage and had a very generous cheese top layer. My only recommendation is more blueberries in the scones. I only got one blueberry in my half. The lemon drizzle on top though, was really yummy. read more

Great coffee and food that is delicious beyond what you will expect is at Montana Coffee Traders in the town of Whitefish privilege. I favor the double espresso with a hint of hot water added, and it's always made good here. The food is spectacular, once again. Lots of places to sit and in a long narrow, historical space with an extra tall ceiling. Free water to chase down that coffee and always some reading material in the back corner. Cool gift shop as you walk in, with some really funny greeting cards, and the staff is most always friendly. Tons of shops around so a good place to hang out or just grab a coffee and walk around the historic downtown. read more

I walked into their gift shop on Hwy 93 to meet a friend and hoping to find something locally made besides the coffee. Unfortunately 90%+ of their gift shop items are made in another country. The location of the coffee shop is situated between 3 (?) interconnected shops so it's perfect for when you want to peruse, beat the rain/snow, or just work in the back of the coffee shop. There's also seating outside, or, if weather permitting, you can take your drink for a walk outside through downtown Whitefish. A nice place to try! I have to say the coffee and the pastries taste really good. The attitude of some of the staff doesn't work for me though. We were told this morning that we are not allowed to walk in with coffee from another coffee shop. What? We're a family of 4 and if someone likes coffee or pastries from another shop, or has certain allergies that you guys can't provide us food for, that's a joke. Are you afraid of your competition? We came 3 times in two days and we were on vacation and tried some places. I personally liked your pastries and the coffee but others liked other places. Do you honestly think that I leave the family outside because the hold a coffee from the shop of the other side of the street? But don't worry, I won't bother you guys again having us walking in with other coffee than yours. Your shop, your rules. My money, my decision to not support you guys. read more
