My friend got the limited edition Stanley cup with the Los Angeles Lakers' colors on it. I saw several Miffy plushies there - way after the drop! It was very tempting... Located on the second level of "Kapiolani Hospital", Diamond Head tower, I parked quickly outside on the street when the sun was still rising. It's a really spacious, clean, modern area. No one was there because it was opening time. I'll be back to look for other rare merchandise. Maybe I'll get a Snoopy tumbler next month... LOL! read more

You want something familiar and comforting, so you choose Starbucks, a place you've been to hundreds of times all over the world. Unfortunately, this location has been the complete opposite of comforting. Every time I've been here, the employees have come across as cold, disengaged, and downright rude. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time and assumed they were just having a bad day. But after multiple visits, it's clear this isn't an isolated incident--it's the culture of this location. It feels like the staff would rather be anywhere else, and customers are treated like an inconvenience. The irony is that they write little messages on the cups like, "Mahalo," "Have a great day," and "You got this," but those words feel completely hollow when they're paired with such unfriendly service. A hospital Starbucks serves people who are often experiencing some of the happiest or hardest days of their lives. A little kindness can go a long way, and sadly, that's what's missing here. I won't be spending my money at this location again, and I can't recommend that others do either. read more

Standard food since it is a chain, but they are quite busy. The cashier doesn't pay attention very much, but does correct the order when told the mistake. They are overworked and could use another worker. The food court has lots of room, but it is busy and moderate as far as noise. read more

Kapiolani Hospital did it right... Beautiful hospital that I've never been especially after all the renovations going on and knowing there's a 24 hrs Starbucks in here never have I imagined it being part of their cafeteria which is such a lovely and calming place. The vibe here is just the place anyone can come and relax all the worries with so much seating of all kinds I'm just impressed. I really came here for the lasted Summer cup release and seen this lovely Stanley that has the Purple and Gold opalescent gradient that I couldn't resist and with the Starbucks stamp it just made it that much desirable for me lol...don't laugh! After much search with everyone grabbing them at all the major stores with the help of Nadine I found them here and loved how much they have so that I can pick and choose the one I wanted and gosh it's much more massive than I imagined but so beautiful! My very first Stanley and I'm so excited. They staff here are very friendly and now that I actually found an elusive find this I'll definitely be hydrated for the summer ;-) Thank you! read more

The main reason I came here was to get the 40 oz. Starbucks x Stanley cup $59.95 . It's a shimmery gold and purple ombre. Thanks to Nadine and Irene I finally got one. It's usually sold out at other locations, but they have it here. When I got there no one was in line. The cashier asked me if I needed any help. I told her that I was still picking out my cup. I picked the one that I wanted and handed it to her. She rang it up and I was on my way. This location is at the Kobayashi and Kosasa Family Dining Room at the Kapoilani Medical Center. It's fairly new, bright and beautiful. Check it out if you get the chance. read more

I use to love this coffee shop as it is located in the hospital and very convenient for us to buy a coffee. But a recent bad experience made me never wanna go there again. That time, there was line of customers and staff were pretty busy. And I had the worst coffee I have ever tasted. read more

It's so pretty in there and I guess they just ran out of breakfast and were getting ready for lunch on the cafeteria side so the line was pretty long at Starbucks. Barista refused to remake my drink even when I asked nicely that I forgot to say I wanted it blended. She said there's a fee?! Like I had to repay for a new drink. I asked her to just pour my drink in the blender, to blend it, I didn't ask for new ingredients? So why would you need to charge again?! I don't recall what this Starbucks location looked like before but the new renovations looks amazing! It's so convenient to have one for new moms, the hard working doctors, nurses and staff here, and for visitors. The barista I encountered was pleasant, though she seemed exhausted. There was no line so I must've visited this place at the perfect time. I remember the Christmas free cup with purchase of a holiday drink promo came out and I screenshot my app bar code and info for my husband to pick up my holiday drink and cup for me because I could not leave my room but the lady didn't allow him to have one for himself.. On another note, I gave birth the day before my birthday and sent him to pick up my birthday drink which they do not honor that offer there so unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy that perk last year. read more

The employees here work so hard, there are so many customers at this location inside Kapiolani but they keep up with all the orders and with a smile!! The cafeteria is beautiful and full of natural light. It's an enjoyable place to grab a drink or snack. They do take mobile orders so it's very convenient to order ahead and come and pick up. read more

This is a very convenient Starbucks for the Kapiolani Hospital. Unlike the previous kiosks, this one is more fully functional and has almost the entire menu available. Unfortunately they are frequently without certain selections and sometimes the correct cups. Still, it's a real Starbucks where you can get points unlike the previous kiosks. Unfortunately the prices are almost a dollar more than other Starbucks and even the regular coffee costs more. But when you need the caffeine, Starbucks delivers the goods! Wow!! So, I didn't know about this Starbucks until my husband had a need for coffee past 8:30 pm, which has never happened. He searched and found that this one was still open. When I was sent in to go pick up his order we had no idea where I needed to go. He just told me that it's probably in the cafeteria area, which we also had no idea how to get to. Thankfully, I went into the building on the right and the front desk attendant told me where to go. We had to go in the elevator and through a bunch of hallways before we found this beautiful cafeteria. It was incredible. It felt like the nicest airport lounge I've ever seen. I went up to the Starbucks counter, which was all the way inside the cafeteria and my husband's drink was waiting for me. It was so quiet and peaceful inside and cleaner than any public place I've seen since my trip to Japan. The drink was beautifully made and tasted wonderful. This morning was my "Driving miss daisy" day. My friend needed a chauffeur to and from her appointment at Kapiolani Hospital. Once we arrived at to her Dr's office, I asked the receptionist where Starbucks is located. 2nd floor over in the opposite building. Wow, talk about double the size of a hospital, bigger parking garage, updates on the facility. The last time I visited Kapiolani was maybe over 10 years ago after a few of my gf's gave birth lol. It's a full service Starbucks convenient to the cafeteria. You can only earn stars, you can't redeem them. Also your Starbucks app can't preorder drinks/food. But hey, it's a good thing I don't come here frequently hehehe read more
