So recently a friend suggested I give the DD(Dunkin Donuts) a try for their coconut refreshers since she knows how much I LOVE STARBUCKS refreshers. She swore that they were just as good. So today my little one begged me to go into DD upon leaving Walmart in Hagerstown, she just had surgery last week and can only have soft food and wanted their ice cream. Well they were completely out of any ice cream so I figured perfect time to try the refreshers. We ordered a med pomegranate one and a small pink one, The MANAGER made our order. People NO, JUST NO! Below is a picture of what they are calling their PINK coconut REFRESHER. Do you see ANY PINK???? I can promise you it was literally all coconut milk! So moral of the story is THIS is why I will stay a LOYAL STARBUCKS CUSTOMER! We went to our local Starbucks literally around the corner and I confessed my sins of cheating on them and the consequences for doing so and being the AMAZING company that they are, they forgave me in my weakness and REPLACED mine and Isabel's order with what a pink drink SHOULD look like and DIDN'T CHARGE ME! Who does that? When I finally tasted my chai tea latte (with 10 Xtra pumps of chai) it tasted like tepid milk. I visit this Starbucks quite often since it is very close to where I work. Let me just tell you, they have the nicest staff and care about their customers. There is another location only a few miles away from them that does not compare to this location at all. To add, the drinks are always amazing. I was in there today to get a gift for a friend and a drink for myself when it started severely storming. The employees made sure I was okay to be locked inside because the doors were flying open, and kept checking to make sure all the drive-thru customers were okay as well. They handled it perfectly. First off, the music was on volume 100. We are both speaking through a mask. My order, which took 15 minutes, was wrong. I looked at my ticket and there was a flavor added. I told the girl at the register. "I didn't order a flavor and i dont want it." She says, "Do you want us to remake it for you?" (Ummm yes, if I didn't want you to make my order correctly, would I be speaking to you about it?) Didn't offer me any money back for the flavor that I didn't ask for. Waited another 7 minutes. If you're looking to hit up a Starbucks drive thru in Hagerstown, this is the one. DO NOT go to the one by Valley Mall. Every Starbucks in Maryland is going to be busy most of the time (let's face it, we're addicted), but this one offers an entire parking lot's worth of space to wait. I've waited in this line many times, and it moves pretty quickly and the drinks are always made correctly. As a society, we've decided it's worth waiting for good coffee and there is no better place to wait than this one. read more

Yep, It's a Starbucks. Really nice add to the area. Lots of seating inside and outdoors, great location and easy to access. Didn't even flinch when I asked for my FREE Birthday VENTI Soy Chai, sure thought they were going to hit me with a size and/or price limitation. I was served with a smile! GREAT Soy Chai Latte ~ remember to tell them NO water. Bothers me that they would cut back on the soy milk with the price you pay for it! This Starbucks location is a little oasis from the busy traffic ridden area surrounding the Walmart store. It is in the same plaza as Five Guys and Chipotle. Ample seating areas indoors and outside. The indoor seating area is sunny and can get a little busy due to the layout and all the foot traffic. If you're a smoker, there are ashtrays provided at some of the outdoor tables. Their drive-thru service tends to be a little slow and you will have a wait during peak times. The baristas at this location is very friendly and will gladly make recommendations if you're trying to decide on a particular blend. Drinks and coffee are prepared per typical Starbucks standards. If you are an existing AT&T customer there is free Wi-Fi. read more

Finally, I'm back at the window after waiting for an hour. I complained to the girl about the wait and she didn't apologize. I was a Partner for 2 years. A Barista, then a Barista Trainer, then a Shift. I was also exclusively a closing Partner. So, I get it. I closed, I know what it's like, I've been there. But when I walk in a solid 35 minutes before they close and the pastry case is completely broken down, all of the pastries were in the donation bin. The Partners acted offended that I was here interrupting their fun close, with the exclusion of the Asian man at the bar. When I asked if they had pastries left, I got a terse "a few," and when I asked which ones I got a sigh and an eye roll as she goes over and opens the donation bin to rattle off the pastries they had left. Well over a few, btw. Then she tells me that the ovens are already off so she can't warm anything in a very unfriendly, unapologetic voice. When I order my drink she doesn't write a cup, and the man at the bar has to ask me to repeat my order for him so he can make my drink because immediately after taking my card the barista turned around and walked away. Here's the thing, I've done this. I've had really quiet closes with my favorite partners and I've internally groaned when customers walk in when I want to just hang out and close up. But when customers DO walk in, you don't act like they are intruding, you joke with them, you invite them to the party so to speak. That's how you get returning customers. I love Starbucks, and I miss being a partner sometimes. This was disappointing. read more
