The ladies in here are so incredibly sweet - I tried two of their Homemade Donuts, which are made-to-order and served hot. I had the Apple Donut and the Vanilla Glazed Donut topped with Espresso. The Apple Donut was absolutely divine - it was small, and it was topped with sliced apples in a warm apple butter sauce - yum yum! The one topped with espresso was also pretty good, and those who are coffee lovers would find this delicious. I also tried their Hot Apple Cider, and this was spiced wonderfully and it really warmed me up; a great complement to the donuts. Their sweet tea was also pretty refreshing, not being too sweet; I would probably ask for little ice next time, though. They also had some chocolates, handmade pies, and other specialty beverages available. Definitely a cute place to check out the donuts and the cider! +homemade donuts! +Apple Donut +Hot Apple Cider +friendly staff :D

Wonderful little coffee shop that makes a great latte. I picked up some tasty truffles and chatted with the owner, who was a real delight.

I have been there twice and received great service both times. The cappuccino and pastries are fantastic. I will definitely be back.

I haven't had French press coffee as good as at the Lighthouse. The homemade pies are so delicious. .

Pic #2 - This is their first impression, their best foot forward, and I was sold immediately in the foyer. Pic #3 - My selected ribeye landing at my table, previously located on the middle shelf on the far right of the fridge. Pic #4 - My friend Max, who got hit with a double shift at our shared Super 8 for the evening, who pointed me to his local favorite, the Bridge Restaurant, with his farm fresh steak sirloin and eggs on his table. Thank you, Hancock, for the smashing final impression of Maryland - you rock.

Steak was warm, potatoes so cold butter didn't melt. Steak heavenly covered in garlic! Couldn't eat it! Garlic butter on vegis too made unable to eat any of it. Had to keep waving the flys off the table. The salmon was cold and very salty, even the rice was salty with teriyaki sauce on it. Only thing edible was the broccoli. Did tell waitress the steak was horrible and inedible and was offered a replacement meal to go without any seasonings added. Will see how it taste tomorrow after I stop belching garlic and salt.
