A great coffee shop! My husband and I were road tripping and stopped here for a break. It's connected to a hotel, but has its own space. The interior is nicely designed and there are plenty of seats. It has quite an hipster feeling. Also a good place to read a good book. The coffee was delicious as well! Baristas are friendly and helpful. Coffee is sourced from a brewery in West VA. Love this cute little coffee shop in the hotel building. It's nondescript on the outside but cute and quirky when you walk inside. They were one of the only places open on New Years day and as soon as I walked in both of the women working there greeted me immediately. They were very friendly and fast with making the coffee. They have reasonable prices. My large coffee was huge! They were also sure to explain all the options and current specials. I got an iced lavender latte and it was fabulous! read more

This by far is one of the best coffee places I've been to for the holiday season. The pumpkin spice latte was the perfect temp the right richness with a delicious creamer on top, and a beautiful aroma and wonderful flavor. The staff were fast and friendly and helped me on deciding what I wanted without making me feel pressured or having to order right away. Stopped at this place for an iced coffee this afternoon on my way home to NYC. Iced coffee was really good and cheap. The girl that was working there was awesome, super nice and cool. I found myself wishing I could stay and hang out, it was such a rare unique place you definitely don't see in New York City. Very veeeeery slow service. We were in line for 30 min and only had 2 customers ahead of us when we arrived. Customer #1 ordered two drinks, and customer #2 ordered one drink. I'm a barista myself so I do understand how long it takes to make even a very specialized drink, and this was just crazy. We ended up ordering an iced coffee to share just because we couldn't wait another 10+ minutes. Coffee is mediocre. Used to kinda enjoy going to get coffee here but today sealed its fate. After ordering from their online system, it took a few minutes to drive there. Then waited in the parking lot for about 10 minutes to get the drinks. Went inside, drinks are no where near ready, so I wait patiently. After about 5-6 minutes more and the drinks are ready, so I grab em and go. Walking to the car, I hear someone calling after me, but since this is a bad neighborhood, I keep walking. It's the owner of JPMino, wanted to speak with me for some reason, no mask even though I'm wearing two. He wants to apologize for the wait, telling me he sits in his office and observes his two employees getting overwhelmed without helping. He would rather chase customers out to the parking lot to apologize instead of stepping in and speeding things up. Seems like bad management in my opinion. The worst part is, he had so much cologne on that I reeked like him all the way home and even after changing my shirt, the smell won't leave. Fair well JPMino, never again. read more

Update!: Been here a few times now. Service is always excellent. Drinks are consistently delicious. Dr. Minang (the owner) always shows great hospitality, will remember that you've come before, and cares about your experience there. He is very attentive! As a coffee fan, I truly believe this place has the best coffee in Hagerstown. Sorry Rooster Moon, love your vibe, but the coffee here is smooth, and flat out terrific. The vibe inside is neat and private (don't be scared off by the surroundings outside--this is Hagerstown). The music is always Smooth Jazz themed, filled with soothing bass and relaxing. This place is great for a quick cup on your way to work, passing through, or if you need to get work done. The staff is always peasant, and I recently met the owner and found out the place is locally owned. I love this coffee shop!! The staff are super friendly, the drinks are great, and the whole place is very aesthetic and calming. They have more than just coffee though. I've been wanting to try this new coffee Cafe for a while and yesterday had an opportunity to meet a group there for a meeting. Immediately fell in like with this Cafe... the decor, the vibe, the friendly, courteous and professional staff, the complimentary cookies to our group... and the coffee. Our group enjoyed the atmosphere and the pleasant professional/cozy setting so much that our 2-hour meeting turned into a 4-hour meeting. We had the pleasure of meeting and talking with the owner and learning more about his varied and incredible background and what prompted him to open this lovely establishment. This place is very weird. We went in to grab a coffee before our favorite brunch place opened. I received a latte and I think it was actually just warm milk. And the plain coffee they offered was probably worse than hospital coffee. We were the only customers in the place on a Sunday morning which was giving off an eerie vibe. Decided to try the newly opened coffee shop "jpmino coffee" in Hagerstown. While we enjoyed the atmosphere, the owner and CEO Dr. Paul Minang stopped to introduce himself and to say hello. I learned several great things about the shop, one they use local coffee beans from the company Black Dog Coffee from West Virginia and how humble and welcoming the owner was to our family. The lady behind the counter was awesome and friendly as well. If you rush throughout the day and want to slow down and feel as if you are lounging at home, this is definitely a must visit. They have "Open Mic " on Saturday's and a very clean well put together area for customers. Nice place to meet friends, business associates or to just get away!
