I don't mind suffering for a few miles on a trail knowing that a warm cortado is waiting for me at the end. Rooster Moon Coffeehouse feels a bit cramped, but their cortado and service was good. There was a lot of seating outside so this is definitely a place I would like to revisit during a warmer season. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

So today my little one begged me to go into DD upon leaving Walmart in Hagerstown, she just had surgery last week and can only have soft food and wanted their ice cream. Well they were completely out of any ice cream so I figured perfect time to try the refreshers. We ordered a med pomegranate one and a small pink one, The MANAGER made our order. People NO, JUST NO! So moral of the story is THIS is why I will stay a LOYAL STARBUCKS CUSTOMER! We went to our local Starbucks literally around the corner and I confessed my sins of cheating on them and the consequences for doing so and being the AMAZING company that they are, they forgave me in my weakness and REPLACED mine and Isabel's order with what a pink drink SHOULD look like and DIDN'T CHARGE ME! Who does that? In looking over the menu we chose a Cinnamon bun and split a sandwich - Grilled Chipotle Turkey Sandwich & Chips and I ordered a Banana Nut Bread Coffee. First and foremost the coffee was incredible and loaded with flavor. I felt as if I was drinking a piece of banana nut bread! Warm deliciousness that was made quickly and served perfectly. We chose the day old cinnamon bun to give it a try and even at a day old it was soft and flavorful and paired well with the coffee. The Sandwich was cooked to perfection and the chipotle aioli made the entire sandwich come together. The quality of everything we had was spot on, and the relaxing atmosphere paired with excellent customer service makes this a wonderful place to sit down and have a cup of coffee, or grab a bite to eat! I've tried a few bakery items and they were ok. However, this review isn't about the food as much as it is about the horrible service my wife received from the OWNER. She arrived at 5:00 pm and placed an order. 15 minutes later, they had not started her order so she asked the owner working, how much longer because she had to pick up our son by 5:30. He told her to get off the phone aggressively. She then asked for a refund. This is a small business and I've never seen the bakery full of customers, so there should be a concerted effort to provide good service. Again, my wife placed her order and waited 15 minutes before asking when would they start on her order. We're never returning to this bakery again.
