Drink caffe latte was good so there's that. ‍ Went through the drive through last night 8ish pm and home girl was rude or doesn't like her job. I'm not sure what we said or did lol. We paid via tap, it's new to us sorry, and she gave us attitude, as we tried to figure it out 'Is it tap?!' Then as we said thank you! no acknowledgment she intentionally just turned her back left the drive thru window open and walked away. Poor poor customer service. read more

I stopped in here and did a mobile order not too long before I got here. Not only was my order ready but the store was immaculate and everyone was so kind. My partner makes me espresso shots but that day we were pretty busy and never got to the kitchen and needed a little something to get me through. I will be back. read more

This is a nice Starbucks. Couple people there reading, working on the computer or just talking. I like the large windows that let in light. I'm on a road trip and have stopped in numerous Starbucks. I've never seen an interior this huge! 15 two seat tables that can be moved to seat 4 and 3 - 4 seat tables and a large 6 person table. The lobby was pretty clean with just two tables where the customers didn't know how to throw out their trash. I would say it took 2 hours for an employee to clear those two tables but they did get cleared off but not wiped down. There were plenty of other places to sit. Floor and bathroom were clean. Service was quick and I was there for a while and everyone was served quickly. My drink was made right. read more

What a delightfully friendly & cheerful group group of baristas! It was busy & they were helping each other to smooth out the workload. . The store & restrooms were very clean. It was very busy, but there was plenty of room for people to work at tables, eat their food, or chat with friends before heading off for the day. . While I usually try to visit local roasters while traveling (in town for a few days visiting friends), but I needed to get on a zoom from somewhere I knew had reliable fast wifi. Do NOT go here if you expect to get your drink in under 30 minutes. I understand it gets busy, and Starbucks has a rule that drive thru orders must be done in 30min or less, but that does not mean to ignore the people waiting inside. There were about 7 of us, ALL waited 30+ minutes for a simple coffee and bakery item. They kept taking in car orders and finishing those even though we had been waiting for our already placed orders. This is positively the worst Starbucks I've ever done business with. The location looks nice. It's very roomy. It has many people working. That being said, the people working have very poor customer service skills, and work at an extremely slow rate of speed. If you order a simple coffee, plan to wait for a minimum of 15 minutes. Right when we walked in we noticed the clean floor and welcoming environment. Everyone said hello and for a group of six the food came out the fastest it's ever been at Starbucks. I order online frequently and ALWAYS tip in cash. Most of the time orders are pretty quick, so I don't have to wait long. Today, I placed my usual order and it wasn't ready, so as I waited, watching my drink being made, the barista doing so proceeded to wipe her nose repeatedly and placed her hands on her derriere as she stood there talking to the other barista. Yuck. Just yuck. And what's up with putting drinks out without a straw? I usually have to get someone's attention when I'm grabbing my drink, which absolutely requires a straw. Can you just place one next to the drinks that straws are needed for rather than force customers who have already paid to try to get someone's attention to get one? They're never gracious about it, they always act annoyed. ​Please also inform customers when you run out of items before making a drink without it. It's open I bought coffee and a scone here yesterday. I placed an order on the app. When I arrived I was told they were locked out of the cold brew. I have no idea what that means except no cold brew for me. The barista was very apologetic and offered to make me whatever I wanted if I didn't want to wait. I ordered another favorite of mine the flat white. I had no idea of a price difference. I offered to pay the extra if there was one. Barista said don't worry about and thanked me for my patience. I desperately needed WiFi as my parents don't have any and I'm caretaking them for a few weeks. They had great WiFi and a place to plug in my laptop. I had a lot of work to catch up on. The baristas are always hardworking, friendly, and accommodating. Unfortunately I've heard the manager being rude and condescending to employees who are working hard to keep the place running. I go to Starbucks all over the place. This Starbucks is the SLOWEST I have ever been to. The drive thru takes at least 20 mins (no exaggeration) and walking inside takes the same amount of time! I don't understand what this Starbucks ISN'T doing that other Starbucks ARE doing but they need to be retrained or get some better management! It's been a great New Year's weekend traveling through the Sacramento area. While we were visiting the Grass Valley area, we need to take a coffee break. It was our fist visit to this location so we found this place on the map and made our way to this Starbucks. There is a quick sharp turn onto the road to this Starbucks and I found the parking spots a little tight. There was a long drive thru line, but we decided to go inside to order our drinks, shop through some of the merchandise and use the restrooms. The inside of the place was large with lot of tables and seating. They were out of a few items like sandwiches and Peppermint Mocha but we managed to find some alternate drinks. The wait wasn't too bad and we saw lots of staff behind the counter. Overall the selection of food and drink items were limited, but we got our items in a timely manner and there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy our drinks. read more

This specific Grass Valley Starbucks location is modern, spacious and clean for dining in, studying or simply hanging out. The place has many plush leather couches by its windows, as well as a circular facing out leather couch with built in outlets, where my family pretty much comfortably hung out. There were many paces for intimate gatherings and large group meeting a time happen simultaneously. Starbucks drinks were typically the same. But the place was inviting enoough to allow patrons to linger. I'll definite be back here at this location. read more

I recognize that we are in a pandemic and everything is changing constantly but not only have the hours of this store changed they have made it difficult to enter the parking lot for the drive-thru by blocking off one of the entrances. That being said, as I have not had Starbucks at this location since all of this has begun I was unaware and placed my mobile order while on my way to the store. I was unable to enter the parking lot and had to drive around to come from the other direction where the line was completely out of the parking lot and into the street. After 40 minutes I received my drink which had melted as it was a Frappuccino and it had whip which I has asked not to have. Adding on: 5x already they don't follow the directions on the app to order in advance. Annoying and I gave up. This location is going down hill quickly with service. I've come in one instance the night crew was hanging around the register talking as I waited followed by eye contact (they knew I was there)...I was the only customer. My drinks keep getting messed up especially when I ask no dairy. I can understand errors but to be consistent. Having to wait a long period of time: other locations are smaller and busy that can get their customers out in a fast and efficient manner. Is management aware of this? This usually falls when there's not even a crowd. Im not venting towards this and am making it known to management. They need to hear this. read more

An OK place to obtain OK coffee on a typical Monday morning. Interior is spacious with lots of seating. Other reviewers aren't wrong when they say that cleanliness here is very poor. My order and interactions with the baristas were fine, lovely even. I was in for a few hours to get some work done and my main complaint was the sheer volume. Why on earth are they open to walk in and order if you can't use the restroom?! It took 25+ minutes to get a drink and a breakfast sandwich, which both came out a different times (that's a stupid starbucks thing, I know). They were very busy, leaving no time for customer service, no "sorry for the wait", or "have a nice day". We were on a road trip and just needed some coffee and to use the restroom. I am not surprised they only have 2 stars overall. It's a huge franchise though and I'm sure the manager gets all sorts of training to run it like every other store. I wonder what his problem is? I have used the mobile app to order almost exclusively for a while. It's great because the system won't let you order from a store within 30 min of closing. Which guarantees you'll get the coffee. I work in the Sacramento area and have been going to others stores since the hours everywhere have changed. One day last week I waited to get coffee till I got to Grass Valley only to find this store closed. Apparently, they changed their hours AGAIN and now closed at 5. Fast forward to today. It's Saturday and I am off work. At 3:50 I decided I better order since they close at 5. I placed an order for 4 drinks. The order went through at 3:59. I drove the 13 miles to the store And arrived around 4:15. Now, I had no other reason to leave the house, the sole purpose was to get coffee. Considering I drive 150-200 miles a day the last thing I want to do is drive unnecessarily. I arrive and although there are 3 cars in the drive thru the dumpster is blocking the entrance. I went to the front door but was told I would have to come back tomorrow and they could remake the drinks or give me a refund. Needless to say that's bs. I am so sick of the inconsistency. I guess I need to start frequenting a Starbucks that can actually provide consistent service and appreciate their customers. Thankfully, in my experience that is literally every other Starbucks.
