Never have I ever been lectured by close to the rudest 18 year old (her name was Hayley, or Haylee) about how Starbucks doesn't leave cream and sugar out anymore. How I am supposed to know to ask somebody who doesn't drink coffee to put appropriate amount in. (like I received a corporate memo or something). Good clean Starbucks. Got our order correct and were helpful and friendly. Since we were driving they even gave us two waters for in the car and a car carrier for the waters and our coffees. Conveniently located across the street from Sprouts and near the freeway, not too far outside of downtown. We would come here again. read more

I just left this location. The service was incredibly slow in the drive-thru line. Not only did they get the size of my drinks incorrect but they also got the drinks themself incorrect. I ordered the same size of two different drinks and received different sizes of the same drinks. If I am paying 19$ for two drinks and a sandwich, I would hope some aspect of it would be correct. I don't know what happened to this sbux, but it is definitely living up to the "McDonald's of Coffee" moniker, complete with perpetually over-flowing trashcans, resentful employees, mediocre drinks and general mis-management. The atmosphere is outright toxic and every time I get dragged in there, there is no place to sit for a party bigger than two because of the shitty layout and the lone "she-baggers" taking up entire tables so no one can use them. There definitely is a vacuum for good coffee shops with meeting spaces in town and it will be interesting to see if the strip mall chain will be around in a decade. At the very least, this location needs someone to come in and do a customer flow analysis during a busy lunch and try to fix the bottlenecked, toxic feng shui. read more

The employee that took my order was super friendly and made sure my order got put in correctly. When I went to the door, I was greeted with a friendly smile. Friendly, friendly, friendly! This is a small Starbucks, with about 12 inside tables and assorted comfy chairs. There is an outdoor patio and a drive-thru. I have found everyone to be very cheerful, friendly, and sweet. They don't mind if I stay here for hours, sucking in their internet, air-conditioning, and sipping on my single skinny caramel macciato. Everyone on their team seems to have a smile and friendly word. Way to go, Starbucks, this is what a coffeehouse should be like, only maybe a little bigger would be nice! read more

I tend to visit Starbucks a lot to study and frequently run into two problems: 1) there aren't enough outlets to plug my laptop into and 2) the place doesn't have enough seating. This is by far the best Starbucks I've ever studied at and I will continue to visit while I'm in Grand Junction. Along the windows when you walk into the store is just a straight line of outlets which is INCREDIBLE to see when you have a power hungry computer. Additionally the seating is abundant. Even though the store was busy when I walked in I still found seating and an outlet to camp out for a bit. There were plenty of tables and enough couches just in case you wanted a more comfortable seat. The staff was overall friendly and quick to serve which was appreciated. Definitely come here if you need a place to study that isn't too loud with plenty of electrical outlets! read more

I have gone to this Starbucks on several occasions before and the service has been very friendly and the drinks were okay but I visited them on 7/7/16 and the service through the drive through was fast but the gal at the window barely said hello, handed me my drink and sent me away. I had ordered my drink with no whip cream and no foam, it felt very light so after I pulled away I opened it. The 1/2 + inch of foam started about 1/4 down from the top of the cup therefore my drink was about an inch down from full. When I am paying $5 for a cup of coffee I expect it to be full. I have tried to call the location 3 times since to complain but the phone just rings and rings and I get no answer, no machine to leave a message, nothing. I am highly disappointed. I went through drive thru and ordered a drink. They did not make my drink correctly so I had to park, walk in, and return the drink. The clerk apologized; however, the barista (guy) was annoyed that I returned my drink. His annoyance was very visible. I don't know if I'll ever visit this Starbucks again. Let me start off by saying that the Starbucks is clean. However, their customer service is extremely poor. I came in and waited to order for five minutes. There was nobody else in line and I was simply waiting for the employees to finish a conversation they were having about their weekend. When I was finally able to get somebody to assist me I was greeted with a "what do you want" from a lady who was cashiering. I was so taken back by this that I considered leaving. I ordered a drink and I asked for no ice and the women through a fit about how that was poor idea. It is my drink and I want to order it how I want. When my drink was ready my name was not called out (because the employees were talking to each other so much) and I had to ask if the drink was mine. It was and it had ice.
